Great customer service, scheduled me in on short notice, worked fast. Witnessed a customer blow up on staff for not agreeing to place new tires on the front of the car(safety regulation requires them to install on rear) in which they handled the situation very well and were completely professional despite how inappropriate the customer was acting.

It’s costco… WHODOESN’T LOVECOSTCO? But, if someone from the store decides to read this… PLEASEPUTMORESAMPLESOUT. Oh, and if you have never been to costco, let me explain it for you. 1. This store has everything. 2. It’s much better than Sam’s Club 3. Way better than Sam’s Club 4. If you had to picture the Disneyland of shopping, this place is it. 5. I just love Costco. So this review is biased.

The employees are so kind and helpful. I was a Sam’s member until I started shopping here, better prices and as a gold member the rewards are excellent.

The Costco here in Hoover has gotten better, with very few bad employees now. I would recommend this Costco to anyone.

I joined Costco for the first time yesterday. As a long time Sam’s Club member I wanted to check out the difference. Lots of healthier options but the biggest thing was the customer service! Joanne at the service counter helped me sign up and the young gentleman next to her was very respectful and helpful as well. The check out experience was also excellent. It’s a bit of a drive for me but I’ll be making the trip!

Great place to shop for just about anything. I have been a member of Sam’s Club for many years and the one thing that Costco offers that I have found that Sam’s does not is VARIETY! Costco seems to always be bringing new products for it’s customers. This keeps just about every shopping experience fresh and exciting. You never know what may lurk around the next corner to catch your eye or whet your appetite. Couple this with their outstanding customer service it’s a win win for everyone!

For those of you who have followed me on Unilocal,I’ve often compared Sams to Costco. Both stores are amazing, but this Costo has Sams beat when it comes to selection, change and price. The only negative if you live in Birmingham is the drive and that’s where Sams has this store beat. I must admit, I haven’t been a Costco member for long, however I’ve made quite a few purchases since the switch. If you’re looking to try something new, then this is the place for you to be. Ideally I’ve love it if this store moved a bit closer, but hey, beggars can’t choosers right? And besides, it gets me out of my comfort zone. Lastly, the staff actually seems to enjoy working there which is odd these days. That breath of fresh air is what keeps me coming back, that of course and the great deals. Happy Unilocaling!

Very unique place. I used to be a Sam’s Club member until I discovered Costco. Had no clue one place could offer such a variety of good things. A lot of the stuff they offer is needed and not a big waste of space. I enjoy how they don’t over saturate with any particular product like most stores. They only allow so much of every item! Makes the store more relevant and I’ve yet to encounter an unhappy Costco employee. I hear they pay well and the shelves are always stocked. The store is always clean and pleasant to visit. I’m not a Costco fanatic but I like to patronize a store that pays there workers well!

One of my essential business where I not only purchase staple products like paper goods to fruits/veggies– but everything from electronics to wine and beer. Love the selection as it slightly changes by month… There are even Asian products like soy & teriyaki sauce/seasonings, wonton soup, egg rolls, fried rice… Only things missing are hard liquors since the Alabama laws don’t allow for it. Oh did I mention TVs to cameras to office supplies are a bargain here? Suggestion– try to avoid this place on the weekend during the day– if can be like 280 during rush hour. Weekdays are great, evenings close to closing or right in the AM are the best times to go with less crowds.

I’ve been a member at Sam’s for some time, and I recently picked up a membership at Costco just to have an option between the two depending on what I was needing to buy. I made my first trip to Costco today and was pretty impressed. The store in Hoover seems a bit cleaner and brighter than a lot of the Sam’s Clubs I’ve been in. The prices were great(as expected) and the variety/selection was above my expectations. They had all the normal stuff you’d expect from a wholesale warehouse store, but I was surprised to find things like golf clubs, tennis balls, etc. there, too. The only drawback I really see is that the payment options seem to be limited. I wasn’t able to use my regular credit card like I do at Sam’s. I wouldn’t mind seeing that change.

Really good products, very nice people & great to do business with. It’s not alwasy the cheapest price but it’s close. Great return policy — I had purchased an item and had it for 3 years and took it back without any problems. Customer service on the floor is a little difficult to find at times but always helpful when you do. We always shop there first when looking for anything. The biggest reason is the fact we can return on our schedule if we need to.
