Great sandwiches! Turkey & egg on butter bread is my favorite. Their spicy pimiento cheese is excellent. Entrees are tasty too! Friendly service, even when packed. Never disappoints!

One of my favorite places — I am a regular. I love the grilled lamb Greek salad. Always a winner.

Bizarre to see the poor reviews. That hasn’t been my experience with this location. Service is normally quick. Food has always been very good. You can find better Mediterranean food and close by this location but the price is right, the speed is there and the staff had always been courteous and friendly. I usually eat a gyro. Big portion of lamb or chicken. Good sauce. Excellent sides. Maybe I’ve just caught them on the 10 – 12 good days of their existence since it has been perfectly consistent throughout my visit history

On my lunch this is pretty much the first place I come. Service is super fast and customer service is great. I love getting the chicken roll ups with the potatoes and sometimes the pasta. The grilled chicken salad is also pretty good. They have plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and they also have a section just for you to pick up orders. On the weekends you MUSTMUSTMUST get the Friday Pasta, they only have it Fri-Sat. They even offer online ordering, if you never tried it you should!

I had the Taziki Signature Pasta Salad and thoroughly enjoyed it! I never had a bad experience with this restaurant. If you haven’t tried, their special salad only available on the weekends, you should definitely try it! :)

I love Mediterranean food and Taziki’s does not disappoint. A casual place where you order at the counter and a server brings your food to your table. I’ve had a couple of items from their menu and all were delicious. The hummus is great with the warm pita. Portions are very nice also. Great for lunch or dinner, especially if you’re traveling alone.

I hesitated to give this place only 3 stars because that feels kind of low, but there is really nothing stand-out spectacular about it. It is good, consistent Mediterranean food, and is moderatley priced. The location we go to is clean and well kept and the counter-service crew is friendly enough for a counter service crew. My go-to is the MEditerranean salad with grilled Tilapia on top. The fish is cooked nicely, lightly seasoned and hot. Healthy portion of greens, some roasted red peppers, pecans, garbanzos, onions, olives… the standard. I can say that I have never had an issue with freshness or portion size. The pimiento cheese is tasty as well, but I am not impressed with the hummus, which seems odd for a Mediterranean place. All in all, a good spot.

Very nice place. We use as a change of pace night. I always get a gyro and my wife gets a salad. It is clean place and well lit. The food is decent and great for the price. I always feel relaxed here. Not sure why but it is quite and comfy. The food is Greek fare and is really no better or worse then other spots in Birmingham. Don’t go out of your way but if you want a nice fresh relaxing meal go for it.

For the quality of the food and price I think this place is great. It hit my Mediterranean craving yesterday and I got my food in plenty of time to not rush to my next appointment. Set up: they have a few outside tables and the inside is nice. A great place for a nicer casual lunch or dinner. The lighting is a bit dim but not too dark. Food: it is ordered then delivered to your table. I had the Lamb feast and was very impressed at their willingness to replace a cucumber salad instead of rice or potatoes for my low carb diet preference. The cucumber salad was fantastic. I could have just had that and been happy. The Greek salad was ok. I am not sure exactly what it was but the lettuce didn’t taste so fresh. I am willing to give it another shot soon though. The lamb was awesome! I was expecting thin shaved pieces but it was in smaller size filets and it was tender but had great texture and cooked perfect. The customer service was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to going here again

The name of this restaurant is perfect. Taziki, which is an incorrect spelling of tzatziki. This is the least Mediterranean, Mediterranean restaurant on the history of the planet. Lettuce and meat, served with Mediterranean *inspired* sauces. Several staples of the Mediterranean diet completely missing. Don’t get me started on the entrees… But seriously, how exactly does one operate a Mediterranean restaurant and not serve baba ganoush or tabbouleh??? The menu is extremely limited. The quality of lamb is so low grade…100% no doubt in my mind it’s frozen and probably comes in packs of 50, from Tyson Foods, Inc. This place was such a disappointment… I can’t even. Save your money, drive the distance into the city to the real thing.

This was my third time for takeout at Taziki’s. I had the pork loin feast. About 5 hours after eating it i was awakened with nasuea and stomach pain. I then had 3 bouts of vomiting(every two hours). It is a day and a half later and i have had nothing to eat since. Just some gatorade and buillion. i won’t be going back!

My husband and I had lamb gyros here. They were ok. The sauce was much more watery than I am used to. They used grilled lamb rather than lamb loaf — honestly would have preferred the spit-roasted lamb. Sides were ok. Husband had fresh fruit and I had pasta salad. Was surprised there were no olives in the pasta salad, which was ok for me because I don’t like them. Seemed a bit pricey for quick type meal.

Chain restaurant review here, so expect consistency. I visited with a group of 7 for lunch. Everyone one ordered one after another, but the salads seemed to take much longer to come out for some reason over the baked sandwiches. I ordered the grilled lamb salad, which was good. I appreciate a restaurant that serves lamb, as it is not frequently served in chains in the US. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit, but if in the area, I’d come back if the line was too long at the Cuban restaurant down the road.

Taziki’s is one of those places that a REAL man never thinking of eating at, the name Taziki’s doesn’t sound right, it’s sounds like one of those salad place where sorority chick go for dinner, but once you eat there your opinion will change, they offer a wide variety of dishes, and it never disappoints me. The food is great and the service is quick. P. S. Friday Special is Amazing!

I hate to do this to Taziki’s, but if you want a good restaurant experience, this is NOT the location to choose. I workout a lot, so I commonly order an extra protein, grilled veggies and fruit along with my talapia & rice. I asked for no salad about three times since feta cheese is absurdly unhealthy. It took 3 employees about 4 long minutes to key-in this order while one of the cooks looked over their shoulder and started the order. Attitudes became more & more sullen with each attempt to enter my order. I was the only polite person involved:) This staff is uncharacteristically devoid of affect. Zero personality. When the most bumbling of the employees brought my food, I pointed to the salad underneath my talapia and said«I ordered no salad» and he mumbled«he already put it on there so it was too late». Good thing I don’t have a dairy allergy or the whole plate would have been sent back. No apology, mind you. Just some furtive mumbling. As I ate the rather undercooked veggies and the unseasoned chicken, I curiously waited to see if the manager would ask how my meal was. He made 6 trips past my table without eye contact or anything. When the original bumbler came back to take plates away, I asked him to leave the plates and send out the manager. Suddenly, the manager was nowhere to be seen. I was planning on recommending a training session for his employees, not requesting a refund. I left. This is not a representative location for this otherwise outstanding restaurant chain. No wonder it was nearly empty at 6pm.

I found it just OK. Fish was kind of soggy, rice was hard and had large clumps of salt in it. The fare is definitely greek with a different flare. I would make the analogy that this is like the«Greek» Panera bread. Somewhat generic.

We’ve been here a few times over the years. I like to go here for salads and gyros. On this particular occasion I had the lamb gyro and my wife had the caesar salad. I liked the flatbread they used for the gyro, and, the lamb was okay. I think since we got there for a late lunch, the lamb suffered from having been prepared much earlier. My wife’s caesar salad was fresh, but not exceptional. The restaurant has daily specials and the Taziki’s Pasta they do on the weekends is certainly worth trying once. It is good and is served with pita wedges so it is quite filling, too. We have had it a few times.

This is a good place to catch a quick lunch. Service is counter order, and they bring your order to your table when it’s ready. The restaurant is casual and the quality of the whole experience is a lot better than a fast food stop. I like the chicken feast that includes a nice fresh salad and a side. I also like the dolmades, but this is the only place I’ve ever tried one. A dolmade is a mixture of rice, ground meat, and seasoning wrapped in a grape leaf(rolled like an egg roll). You eat the grape leaf. The flavor is hard to describe; it ‘s a light tangy taste and very hard to compare with anything else that I’ve eaten. I think there are three dolmades in an order and i really enjoyed them.
