Yes this is the best place probably on the whole west coast to buy liquor, both for value and helpfulness of staff. The variety is good, but not quite on par with, say, a Total Wine store. I think most people would be fine with the selection however. Salesfloor staff were outstanding in taking my purchases to the counter, even though it feels more like a theft deterrent in how aggressive they are about it. The only complaint I have about the place is the snarky/rude cashier. I think he was trying to be funny or cool but he came off like a jerk. They also carry purchases out to your car, whether you like it or not.

First class treatment at this place!!! It will now be my normal stop when leaving California! Very polite and knowledgable. They carry your product from the shelf to the cashier then to your car!

We stopped here on our way to a Shasta Lake vacation and stocked up on some mid-range liquor for the trip. What a great experience! They helped us make some excellent drink choices which ultimately saved us a lot of money. This is a definite must stop at location if you are passing through. We’ll be back next year for sure

If you want top notch customer service, great advice on products for whatever price range or taste you have and low prices stop here first. Staff has never given us bad advice and we have discovered a lot of new brands and saved money thanks to their expertise

Being a Washington resident, with our ridiculous«sin tax», the prices at this location are less than half of what we would pay retail. I love this store and the excellent selection, The deals are amazing. It’s as good as it gets for me!

At first when I had heard about this place, I had no idea what the hoopla was about. But when I walked into All Stars Liquor Express, I finally understood. My birthday was last Friday and I finally turned 21. I live in Medford and have always wanted to see what kind of alcohol they had in the liquor store. So a friend and I went to the one in north Medford and I was shocked at how expensive things were. It also had a creepy vibe and the people were just as weird. But anyways. On a whim we decided to drive to Hornbrook and check them out. When we arrived I was floored. So. Much. Alcohol. And the prices were @%$&#!* insane. SOCHEAP! As my friend and I were shopping a very nice gentleman was taking our stuff to the cashier so we could have free hands. I got a bottle of Pinnacle vodka and a big ol bottle of Malibu for $ 28. And the nice cashier bought me a shot for my birthday. After we were rung up a nice girl carried our stuff to the car(lord knows I probably would have dropped it) and we were on our way back to Medford. It only took us about 35 minutes or so to get there. We had an awesome night and it’s a birthday weekend I’ll always remember. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Edited… we had stopped at the wrong place. Today we stopped at the right place. Great prices and wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Answered questions and collected our items for us. Sort of like personal shopping assistants. Even carried our purchases to our vehicle. We will make this a regular stop whenever passing through.

You must go! If your from Oregon and want a deal you must go! About 50−75% off Oregon prices. The staff is super. They will give you recommendations and in some cases recipes to help you. It’s a tight store built in an old house. So they are right there to carry your selections to the counter and start a pile for you. It’s only ½ mile into California. All by itself.

I’d heard of the good deals here, yet hadn’t been myself. Well… I’ve got nothing but good to say. I walked out with(6) half gallons of assorted drink, for $ 150. The gentleman that helped me was very courteous, going as far as pulling all six bottles for me AND carrying them to my car – despite having other customers at his register waiting him. Signage made it easy to find, and it was conveniently located just off the side of I-5.

I was just there on Friday August 15th. I was traveling from Seattle to northern CA. I bought a large bottle of Grey Goose Vodka. It was $ 59.99. I just went to Costco in the Sacramento area, the bottle costs less than $ 42. I am SOANNOYED. I did save $ 2 on my bottle of crown, but I am never going back. That is a HUGE rip off.

My husband and I came in to get all the liquor to make AMF’s for our camping trip and we were looking for all the fixin’s when one of the employees came and found EVERYTHING for us to make 4 ½ gallons of amf, his service was AWESOME! and when we paid for everything and employee brought everything out for us it was awesome! webought some little shots so when it was said and done it was $ 108 A LOT cheaper then Oregon.

As a northwest resident, I was like a kid in a candy store. I got about $ 200 worth(oregon prices) for $ 102. Everything is at least 30% less than NW prices. A person could go there twice a year and easily stock up enough, and not have to deal with oregon liquor stores at all.

Despite what the OLCC claims most prices here are lower than Oregon, even with the CA sales tax. Great selection too, along with great customer service.

Great prices you guys! Who knew?! Okay… I have to give this place a review because I got three great random things when I stopped in here with my Mother on our last Oregon road trip. 1. I got a cool picture with a statue 2. I got a huge jug of Kraken rum for way cheaper than usual! 3. I got an epic bottle spout which is now the official Hannibal celebration accessory! So yeah. stop in here. The wine spout was on clearance for three bucks!

I am actually afraid someone will attempt to schedule an intervention if I disclose how much money we have spent here in the last month alone. This place is a MUST for anyone who lives in Oregon or Washington and finds themselves driving northbound from California. The staff is super friendly; we’ve gone in asking for recommendations and every time, they start with their least expensive favorite, never the priciest option. You don’t even have to load your car – they walk it all out for you. Awesome place. Go check it out!

Pretty darn good selection of liquor of all types. Not as good a deal as BevMo, but much better than paying the state of Oregons liquor taxes which I believe are directly inspired by King George IIIs taxes some 250 years ago.

Oh how I love this liquor store just over the California border. I stopped by last fall and stopped in to buy another years supply of booze to keep my wine company in the cellar. The staff here is amazing, they are so friendly, take items to the register as you pick them up. We picked up three ½ gallons of vodka(varying labels) two ½ gallons flavored Three Olives vodka, three ½ gallons bourbon, one ½ gallon rum, three 1/5’s bourbon, 1⁄5 Jaegermeister, and a variety of sample bottles. The damage was about $ 350. I felt like I went in with a 50% off coupon, because that is how much I saved by shopping in California instead of Oregon. See you next year.

A fun place to shop for liquor just a few miles south of Ashland(and on the California border), you Oregonians can avoid the horrible OLCC and stock up on your favorites. Some prices are higher, but most are significantly lower due to bulk buying by the owner(prices aren’t set by the state in CA as they are in OR). Bring a price list from Oregon and compare. To our shock and delight, the proprietor opened a sample of Canton Ginger Liqueur(VSOP Cognac Infused with Baby Ginger) for us to taste in the store. Then she gave the little sample bottle to us to keep(try *that* in Oregon). Ironically, once we crossed the border back into Oregon, we were technically in violation of open-container laws because that little bottle was still in my boyfriend’s pocket! A fifth of Maker’s was around $ 20 rather than the $ 27 in Oregon. They have especially good deals for the 1.75 versions of Absolute Citron, Jack D and others. Some things were missing: Amaretto di Amore and the new Bakon Vodka(which they had never heard of)…there was no Crater Lake Vodka or Clear Creek Brandy or anything trendy, just your standard brands. They advertise beer and wine too, but it’s a small selection.
