Ugh… I have learned my lesson and never should have given this McDonalds another try. Ordered Diet Coke at drive thru speaker. Pulled up to pay and the cashier said something about regular Coke. I told her I wanted Diet(again.) She told me she corrected the error. Pulled through to the pickup window, was handed a cup and told, «Here’s your DIET Coke»(team member was a little sarcastic/surly.) Got home a few minutes later and, of course, find I have regular Coke, not the Diet Coke I specified twice. They have managed to make some error with every single order I have ever placed. I get the basics with no special requests or changes, all very straightforward and, I think, pretty hard to mess up, but they find a new way to screw up every single time. Just think if you multiply this out over every person who visits? The level of incompetence is really stunning. I don’t know where they get their employees, but I have never seen a more consistently incompetent group. Side note: I know it’s not Chik-fil-A, but any time I have ever told an employee there«thank you»(and I say it all the time), they either don’t respond at all or say«uh huh». The proper response is «You’re welcome.» Maybe a little politeness could help neutralize some of their ineptness?
