This hotel is only lacking 1 star because the carpet was sticky. That is a pretty disgusting quality, but the staff and ease of service fully make up for it enough to not even care. Realistically I should have informed the front desk about how gross the carpet was, but they were so accommodating in getting our joining rooms 2 hours early, that I have no room to complain. The one woman breakfast staff was also very considerate of my 16 month old. I felt like I could live here. There was 24 hour tea set out and coffee out moat of the time. There was cucumber water at the entrance. It was a very welcoming place to stay. I will always stay here if ever possible.

Stayed here while in Houma for a wedding. While it didn’t look full, we were told that the only available rooms were doubles. Whatever. We needed it so we went ahead and rented it. The bed was REALLY comfy and the towels were good size. Now onto the bad… the a/c was incredibly LOUD! Good thing I drank enough to be able to sleep quickly otherwise that would have kept me awake all night! The coffee in the room was absolutely horrible. Didn’t even try it in the lobby, went to Starbucks across the street. Overall I’m not sure if we would stay here again. Houma has way too many hotels to choose from and although the coffee here isn’t necessarily a deal breaker that air conditioner unit definitely is!

The Woodlands, TX

I have stayed in this hotel 3 different times and each time its one problem or another. There is a video on YouTube that shows how loud the a/c was. I asked to change rooms but the very large desk clerk said she couldn’t help me. So you may want to find a different place to stay. And it smells of musk, sweat or mildew

Love this Hampton. Go out of town on business once a month and I will drive out of the way for a Hampton. Always have great service, value, and amazing beds. The breakfast isn’t anything to write home about, but having a decent, free hot breakfast in the morning just seems to make the day better. The coffee is also surprisingly good.
