If you are expecting Fancy… This place is NOT for you.
But… If you are looking for GOOD BREAKFAST FOOD along with FAST & FRIENDLY SERVICE, you’ve stepped into the right place.
Anytime I visit Lousiana, I cannot leave without stopping in at a Waffle House. The waitresses are ALWAYS so friendly. The Pecan Waffles are ALWAYS so tasty. AND… The service is ALWAYS so quick.

So I was down on the bayou in the middle of the night with fellow Unilocalers Angelique & Joel, and someone was supercrankypants and starving and only Waffle House would do. We hit this place at just the right moment… just before all the bars closed and the crowd descended.
We ordered and ate. Our server put up with our nonsense, barely. The tables were sticky, like they always are. The bathroom wasn’t horrifying. Everything went along…
And then we couldn’t actually leave the parking lot because of the volume of folks showing up… plus y’know all the police cars. I have no idea what the deal was in Houma on a Saturday night.

First of all I like Waffle House, I walked a mile from my motel to eat here so I must.
The reason for the 1 star is for one old waitress that kept complaining about somebody putting dishes in the sink. She kept asking who did it, finally I told her I did it. She wasn’t smart enough to get the hint, that nobody wanted to hear her complaining.

I have wanted to eat breakfast at a Waffle House for many years, since seeing the movie «Tin Cup». There are no Waffle Houses in Minnesota so I had to head south.
I was warmly greeted when entering the restaurant. I was offered a beverage within seconds of sitting down.
The menu offers quite a few choices at reasonable prices. I ordered a cheese omelette with hash browns and a jalapeño cheddar biscuit. The food was delivered very quickly and was piping hot, not to mention delicious! I was not disappointed.
