I have used the Mason Road location since it opened and it was great, friendly service, service with a smile! But this past week I took a pair of lined white linen designer pants to be cleaned, needed pre-spotting which she marked. When I picked them up, stain was worse, pants were wrinkled, lining ruined. When I asked for it to be redone, she told me no ! She just would not charge for the«cleaning»!!!

Zero stars. I’m so mad I don’t even know where to begin other than DONOTGOTHERE. Stains that weren’t there, overly pressed suit jacket and shirts and one completely ruined LAUNDERED silk David Peck dress. 1st time and NEVERAGAIN. 7 – 7 cleaners is a disgrace to our hood.

This dry cleaner is my go-to in Houston, largely because of how close it is to my home and the cheap prices. Their times are pretty convenient and the main lady is friendly. I will be open in saying that their work is not flawless. I mostly take button downs, slacks, and the occasional blazer. There are more consistent and detail-oriented cleaners in Houston but maybe not at the same price. This 4-star rating is probably closer to a 3.8 but they are more than adequate for basic needs on non-precious articles.

Don’t go there… Very bad experience, I gave them my shirt for only ironing and they bring it back to me with so many black greasy stains as it looks like someone was using my white shirt as napkin«obviously from machinery»… With all what I mentioned previously the lady charged me for the awful service.

Always prompt. If there is a particular stain you want removed, then be sure to point it out to them. And, if I need something repaired like a broken zipper or something re-hemmed, they do it correctly and for a good price. I’m A regular!

This is the last time I’m coming here. They have always been mediocre at best, with frequent badly cleaned clothes and stains left untreated even after they were marked, requiring return trips to finish the job. Expensive as well, charging as much for empty comforter sheets as for full comforters. The last straw was when they gave me someone else’s shirt and lost mine, and offered no compensation, not even an apology. Hard to communicate with, as the lady who usually works there speaks very little English. Altogether a frustrating failure.

Disappointing. I’ve been here a couple of times for routine cleaning, and have been pleased with service, timeliness and cost. Though to be honest, the $ 1.99 per item advertised on the window leaves me a little dubious since no shirt, skirt, blouse or dress I’ve ever brought has cost that little to be cleaned. That price may refer to mens’ dress shirts? Just today I picked up a large bunch of clothes that had been cleaned, only to find that 4 pieces had spots. I hadn’t spilled anything that would leave irreparable stains, so I was a little confused. Closer inspection showed that there were dirty and greasy looking spots all over the clothes. Had they not actually been cleaned? I brought them back, and to the lady’s credit she made no fuss about it, but she didn’t apologize. She brought out a role of red tape and began marking all the spots I pointed out. She did try to claim that these were tough stains that needed a second cleaning, which I highly doubt. Maybe they just need an actual cleaning. It’s too bad, since they’re so convenient. I won’t be back though.

Given the positive reviews of this cleaners, I decided to take several items to be dry cleaned when I moved into Montrose. One of the items was a new silk dress with accordion pleating. When I picked up the dress, the pleating had completely come out! Now, maybe I should have known to ask about the pleating when I dropped it off, but she didn’t say anything about it either. When I asked the owner about this, she told me that silk doesn’t retain pleats, and that«it will never look that way again,» and there’s no way she can fix it. She would have me believe that silk pleating can be worn ONE time and cannot be cleaned without being ruined? As it turns out, it CAN be cleaned properly, with some effort. If she wasn’t willing or able to do that, then she should have told me instead of returning a dress to me in a completely different condition. As another reviewer said, the owner does not take responsibility for problems or errors. Shameful.

I will never go here again nor will I recommend this place. We started using this cleaners and initially we were very happy with the quality of work and customer service. Then recently, my husband got one of his shirts back with a hole at the collar. It wasn’t even at the seam. When we brought it to the owner’s attention, she said she could fix it. We were skeptical on how she would be able to fix it but agreed because they had done such a great job consistently prior to this incident. A two day repair ended up taking a month and she always had an excuse. When we finally got it back it looked like a patch job. When I told her we just wanted to get $ 40 credit towards our cleaning she began to argue that it was only worth $ 20. How does she know what we paid? We actually paid $ 65 for the shirt and it was almost new. We said $ 40 to be fair and we really liked them. When we asked if she really wanted to lose a good customer(we would spend$ 300-$ 400 a month) over $ 40, she answered by picking up her book and said she had plenty of business. When I went to put on a brand new shirt I had recently received with our last pick up, it had buttons cracked and missing, holes on the sleeve and threading pulled I took it over to her again asking for it to be replaced. She assures me she could fix it which again its not at the seam so I imagine it’ll be another patch job. I didn’t have time to argue so I left there and said if it did not look like the original state I wanted my money back. She asked for 4 days to fix it(REALLY?), I gave her 6. When I went back to inspect it, surprise surprise, it was not ready AGAIN. I will never use this place and shoppers BEWARE. They are nice and friendly until they mess up. The company will not take onus to their mistake and become rude to you when you want it replaced.

This is a little bit early for me to write a review on a Cleaners business where consistency and reliability are of utmost importance. However, even after 3 trips, I have no need to test another cleaner. The owner-lady as the two other reviewers have mentioned is very nice and I will add, dedicated to her work. I cannot imagine being in that shop for over 70 hours every week. She was definitely sick when I came in earlier in the week and fortunately, she was a lot better today. I even had some alterations on a pair of pants done to test the waters before I bring in a suit, and she was very deliberate in how she marked my pants. She wanted to see me in the pants with my dress shoes on to make sure that the length would be correct. I was about to leave and come back another time with my shoes, but I realized that tt wasn’t necessary since the pants were actually casual pants, but I definitely appreciated the act. Also, let me add that I left my favorite(and only) tie clip in my jacket pocket when I dropped off my suit to be dry cleaned. She made sure I got it back.

I started taking my clothes here when they were at their old location. I only take mu clothes here. The lady is so nice. The prices are more than fair. My clothes come back smelling fresh and not full of chemicals. Even though I moved a little further away, I still make the trip to this place.

I began taking my clothes here many years ago when they used to be a few blocks west on the other side of Montrose. I had fled the high and ever-increasing prices at the old Craig’s Cleaners. The owner lady is usually there when I visit, and she doesn’t appear to speak much English. Her husband(?) is there occasionally and speaks English pretty well. They have a frequent-customer program, in which you deposit $ 100, they set up an account in a notebook, and you don’t have to worry about keeping a ticket. In all the years I have used them, through thousands of launderings of dress shirts and dry cleanings of slacks, I have never once had a significant problem or lost item. My clothes are always in great shape, nicely pressed, and smell like … nothing. Now that I think about it, it’s rare to find a service provider who can boast this consistency.
