BEST WESTERN PLUS Hobby Airport Inn & Suites

We stayed here pre and post cruise for one night each way and really enjoyed the convenience. Located less then five min drive time from the airport their free shuttle service is quick to pick you up.
The rooms are standard big chain mid level hotel rooms with flat screen tv, mini fridge, and microwave in room. You also get basic bath amenities like panthene shampoo and conditioner, face soap, body soap, and in room hair dryer.
The bed and pillows were adequate and comfortable but the room did feel humid with a bit of a musty odor when we first entered. The AC worked well, so turning this on took care of that problem.
The Internet was fairly fast compared to other big chain hotels we have stayed in and there was no trouble connecting or staying connected even though the hotel was at capacity, so if you have work to do, this is a great point.
They include free hot breakfast and they had a good variety of items such as fruit, pastries, bread, oatmeal, eggs, waffles, and maxwell house coffee
If you are coming pre cruise, they do offer a pre cruise package which includes shuttle ride to Houston or Galveston port. This was not advertised on their website when I booked the hotel so I ended up booking transportation through the cruise ship instead. So Anyway no need to book transportation through the cruise company if you stay here.

This place was great because they allowed us to leave our car parked there while we traveled to Mexico for the Thanksgiving break. We drove down from Austin so we could fly out of Houston Lobby to Mexico. We stayed in the hotel for the night then flew out hobby the next morning. What a deal! The breakfast offered was great! Waffle machine, pastries, cereal, etc. We stayed in a room with a pull-​out couch and a king bed. The pull-​out couch wasn’t very comfortable but was enough for just staying the night.

Spacious rooms at an affordable price, especially with an AAA discount. Has a shuttle from the airport. The shuttle serves both the Best Western and the La Quinta hotel which is right next door.
Complimentary breakfast is typical Best Western fare, with the added luxury of shredded cheese to put on your eggs.
Front desk was very efficient and helpful.

This hotel is clean and nice but the service is awful. Anytime we order room service or have to call downstairs for anything the phone rings forever, no one answers and they ask you to come and get the items yourself downstairs! To me, a hotel should have good customer service at all times. This hotel is not so great when it comes to their service. Perhaps they’re understaffed? Not sure but my stay here was not great.

This place is pretty good if you need to stay by the airport. It’s clean and fairly modern. The best part is the complimentary breakfast. They have waffles shaped like Texas every morning between 6:30 and 9:30 am.
The beds are fairly comfortable and the showers have good pressure.
They don’t have much as far as vending goes and they were out of Aleve when I had an exploding headache. I asked the front desk if they had any and they said they «only have what’s out there.» My head was exploding, she didn’t seem to care.

Nice place for a stay, it works, nothing fancy but a good price.
They have a morning complementary breakfast with the usual staples: waffles, eggs, potatoes, bacon, cereal, breads, etc…
Staff seems fairly pleasant and the rooms have a mini fridge and microwave, they also have guest laundry (1 washer/​1 dryer) that takes quarters $ 1.50 per load.
Also they have a small pantry to buy microwave food, snacks, and drinks for your room.
There is an airport shuttle and a dinner shuttle that will pick you up at 6pm and take you to select restruarunts.

Stayed one night room was clean they have a free shuttle that picks you up from the airport and will take you to local restaurants at dinner time. They also have complimentary breakfast that is actually pretty good. Only thing I wish is that the staff knew of things going on in the area. We wanted to go and enjoy the night life here in Houston but the staff couldn’t recommend any places but other than that our stay was good.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. My family and I flew into Houston Hobby at 1am for my grandpas surprise party. We decided to stay in a hotel because of our late arrival. We originally were going to stay in Hobby Airport Inn, and I swear it was Bates motel. Most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. So we walked over to the best western and Edith was the sweetest! They had one room left and she made it work! So grateful. now on to write my review on the Hobby Airport Inn.
