I am a very picky person when it comes to smoothies and drinks. I have to admit that this place as one of the best smoothies that I’ve ever tasted. This store is known for their mixed fruit drinks. Hence, the name blenders. The store is under new management so it is a lot better than it was the last time I went. There will be food soon so I’m pretty excited to see what’s in store. I will definitely come back when I am in the area.

Both the interior and exterior definitely need some remodeling. The drinks are a little pricier than most other juice bars/smoothie bar places that I’ve been to, and the drinks are just the usual, nothing too unique about the place. There’s a decent selection of drinks but there’s no doubt that there are better places providing similar drinks at better prices.

Came in, no lights and worker decided to turn on very loud music since my party sat down lol it was like boom! Asked for irish cream flavored latte and worker didn’t know what I was talking about even though it’s clearly on the menu. And what’s worse is they didn’t have tap and it’s lunch time. Worker said I could get either cappuccino or mocha and im here confused like lady, I want irish cream latte not all that. Again worker said some stuff cappuccino or mocha I’m like omg cappacinno then. Got it, it sucks. Little too much powder.

I just needed some hot coffee and tea… The guy did not know how to make the hot drinks on their menu :(So got some jasmine green tea, iced and some coffee drink, iced. Coffee drink was good but the tea was not worth the $$.

Stopprd by to pick up some Vietnamese coffee before heading back to Austin. The coffee hit the spot with the flavor and the caffine I needed for the drive. My wife had some kind of Durian shake. She love her drink as well. We would definitly come back and try other things from the menu.

I too, am picky with my tapioca. The pearls should have an ‘al dente’ texture, which literally means bite to eat. They should not be too soft or too hard, just right in between, where there is a chew. Anyways, I have tried two drinks at Blenders on separate occasions. I have tried the Café Su Dau, which is Vietnamese iced coffee. The drink was fantastic! The coffee was made just right, sweet and intense. Unfortunately, I had my tapioca coffee on an empty stomach, and felt jittery afterwards. Recently, on such a hot day, I decided on the Thai iced tea with tapioca. Sadly, I did not enjoy my drink as much as I did on my previous trip. The drink and the pearls were right on, but my cup was filled with too much crushed ice! I felt as if the drink contained less tea and more ice. I had so many tapioca pearls left that were stuck in between blended pieces of ice. It did not make my occasion any fun trying to suck in the tapioca pearls that were jammed in between ice pieces. Maybe next time around I visit Blenders, I will tell them to hold the ice, or keep it minimum. Personally I don’t like the taste of chewy delectable pearls with sharp ice in between.

I am very picky as to where I will drink tapioca at. I cannot stand it whenever I order a drink with tapioca and the tapioca balls are hard or nasty. However, at Blenders I was surprised as to how fresh everything was made and tasted. I tried the milk tea and their thai tea, both with tapioca. The drink wasn’t over sweetened either, so my teeth didn’t feel disgusting after. The drink I had was $ 2.50, which is considerably cheaper than anywhere else I have been. And this was a regular size drink. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area and I recommend this place to anyone craving a good fresh drink!
