Ghetto ass bullshit is what this is. I have no desire to hang with ghetto trash. It’s not a very safe bar either.

OH, MYWORD. I wish my eyes could unsee some of the foolywang and {harmless} debauchery that I witnessed. I think they should remove the ‘Billiards’ portion from the name of this place because the only thing being played here is hood music and the dudes getting suckered into buying women drinks. But, I digress… Honestly, it was all in good fun, though. Every now and then, you gotta’ let ya’ hair down and party with the natives. I’m always down for cheap drinks and endless laughs. Beware of the dude with the s-curl perm doing every kind of dance move. Was that capoeira?! You might even take a trip down memory lane with some of the popular 90s rap cuts. And since they played E-40(‘sprinkle me, mayne’), they’ve got my vote.

This is a neighborHOOD bar that’s been around for over 20 years. Yes, it’s «hood» as some might say, but just get in where you fit in — inexpensive drinks & fun times. If you are worried about the crowd, get there early, have a few drinks, then leave early. $ 3 you call its during happy hour… what more do you want? Oh and parking lot pimpin’ is a must for you late night folks.

Been curious about this spot for a while. Passing by their parking lot on a weekend and you would think it was a dealership. Invited by someone, I finally went inside. Wearing a suit from earlier in the day, I was obviously overdressed. It was all good though. Make sure you’re in the mood to have a good time because I did. If you are okay with hood crowds and ratchet strip club music, check them out.

It is what it is, nothing more, nothing less! The drinks are on point along with the music. Either you love it or you hate it!

Went to Carrington’s Sunday around 6:30pm for a quick drink with my friend. Walked inside it looked like that hadn’t cleaned from the night before. Took a seat anyway because no big deal maybe they clean when they open… Anyway, got our seats at the bar and waited, waited after 15 minutes we got up and left. Nobody at the bar even though there was at least 3 couples there drinking. When we walked out we saw all of the employees outside smoking. They had saw us come in(we walked in and said hi) but, did not come in to serve us. Weird… I thought that a bar was for making money. How can you run a bar and not serve drinks 30 mins after you open? I was going to stay there for karaōke but, if i can’t drink why be there. Guess my money wasn’t important.

CARRINGTONS!!! I know you pass yourself off as a pool hall and sports bar… but C’MONSON! you got literally 2 tables and the felts are so worn off the surface that you’d have better luck playin on a pool table made of ice… Sports bar? A grand total of 3 with one big screen… i doubt you’d wanna hang with the fellas to watch the super bowl there… Key word… WATCH… But for you fearless types… this is the hood spot dance club that will let you dance to all the local faves from the HOU to the NO from Pascagoula to the A, Miami to back to the H again, so you can drop it like its hot, walk it like a dog, and shake it like a salt shaker or a polaroid… Cheap drinks, colored weaves(good and bad) with coordinating heels and dudes decked out in their latest 50⁄50 Fitted cap… this is the spot for you… cool people to hang with as long as you don’t look and act like a goober who’s too good to drink a few and sit on a wobbly stool and drink you Hennessey and coke… it’s more like local dance hall than sports bar but who wants to really know who won that wild card game when you see the shape of thaaaa… errr … *ahem* But my favorite thing about this spot? Wed. night Karaōke night… if you feel like doing your own rendition of some R&B classics or some club anthem currents, they got it… pretty good crowd to boot too that’ll cheer you along and fill in the gaps when you miss a few lines… plus you can’t beat the 3 dollar you-call-it drinks… you’re gonna need that liquid courage some nights when you wanna do a Bobby Brown or R. Kelly song to get the party started…

The environment in Carros is just too live. I have been living in houston for less than a year and I have been to Carros 2 saturdays in a row and plan to keep going back. The only downfall is it will get extremely hot because the place will be packed, especially on Saturdays. The drinks are great and my fav is the Hurricane of course. I have not tried any of the games b/c i always be in the middle of the dance floor having a great time. This is a hood spot, so if your looking for uppity or dress to impress plcs, this is not the spot. Its just some good olé fashion fun.

Another HOODREVIEW. If you dont feel like hanging out in a hood environment, bad pool tables and not the best customer serivce. Dont come. But if you like to mingle, liek 3 dollar drinks, car lot pack with rims, r&b and rap music. THis is the spot for you. SO i like it.lmao. I just do. Yes, i know its hood, yes you have people wearing. crazy stuff. But i go there on fridays… ONLY for happy hour. And i enjoy it. I take it as is. I will say this, dont go on a sat. Not a good idea. lol Young people and its pack. but friday is ok. I would give it 3 stars, but i been going there since i was 18 and now i am 29. YES i know it sad.lol. but hey. its just a hang out spot. …

I saw a comedy show by Comedian Eddie Brown, he was truly hilarious! They did a cloth drive for the people in Haiti, otherwise, it is a dive spot. Not so bad but not so good.

If you’re not hood, do not go there. It is mostly a ghetto bar/pool hall. I’ve been there many times, but it is an acquired taste. If you do not know what a «hood» crowd is, DONOTGOTHERE. Stick to Slick Willies or the suburbs.

I’ve been here with my brothers on occasion. Wouldn’t take my lady here b/c it’s waay-hood; plus i have more respect for her. Lotta ppl in fresh units flashing they’re swagg around in attempts to be seen or get women. Besides radio hits the DJ is obligated to play, i enjoy the Hip-Hop & southern Rap played here. Plus i can show-off the new dances and still get buzzed for cheap.. . & afterwards hit the IHop.

I can’t play pool at all. To be honest, I don’t even go here to play pool. This place is ghetto, hood, gutter, and any other euphemism you want to use for places that look like a rap video. Carrington’s on a weekend night is filled with cars straight out of a car show, girls straight out of a rap video, and dudes straight out of jail. Ok I’m kidding on the last part, but if you are intimidated by all young African American crowds, I’d probably shy away from here. If you aren’t worried about that then this place is fun. They play(loud) hip hop music and you hear a lot of comical trash talking going on around the pool tables. The drinks are INCREDIBLY strong and cheap, and there is beer of course. The people are nice and welcoming, which is the exact opposite of what you’d think if you just judge this book by its cover. I get the car washed, put on my fresh kicks(fresh kicks=new or clean shoes) and post up(post up=wall flower) and watch the ladies stroll by. Good times.
