Great place to dull the pain while waiting for a delayed flight. Alyson will take care of you! Tip her well.

Amongst the chaos that is IAH and the crummy food choices available in terminal C, Center Bar offers a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle of traveling. If your flight is delayed, and like me your blood pressure starts to rise, take a breath and have a seat at the long bar and wait to be served. While drinking before noon tends to be frowned upon in the workplace, Center Bar starts serving at 7am M-Sat and 12pm on Sunday. No judgements from the bartender either when your order shots just shy of 10am. Good drinks, nice atmosphere, and alcohol. Everything you need to make it trough the airport and on to your final destination.

Stopped by center bar to eat a sandwich and catch a quick buzz. The bartender Alyson Landon was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond with her service. She deserves a pay raise and a promotion. Get on that. Thank you Alyson.

So they have 4 wines at this place — 2 white, 2 red. I ask the bartender which between the reds is dryer — blank stare. I ask which is sweeter — he tells me that it’s really a just a personal preference, he can’t decide for me. I ordered the Pinot Noir, it was OK. Not sure what I expected…

I wanted to write a quick review for the Center Bar. I stopped in for a beverage and my bartender, Alyson, was very friendly and helpful. It is obvious Alyson takes pride in her work — making sure each product tastes great. The Center Bar is a very warm and welcoming space within a *very* busy international airport. It’s like stepping away from the chaos of one of America’s busiest airports — allowing you to feel as if you’re at a small town, local bar. Great spot. Great quality. Quality is a rarity at airports — as we all know. I had a hard apple cider and an amaretto/lime(disarrono). Both were wonderful and made with care. Thanks Kirby

The best! I landed here from NY and had a 3 hour layover. why not spend those 3 hours getting some food, charge my equipment, and get a drink while I‘m at it? And this bar just so happens to be right next to terminal C43 which is the terminal I had to be at. I ordered two of this pineapple & mango mixed drink(I don‘t remember what it was called) and drank my silly self away until I got tipsy and left the bar with about 10 minutes to sit at the terminal until I got let in. Best time killer ever. Minus 1 star just because the bartender there wasn‘t that nice… She took a while to get to me after I sat down and only came to me when I finished my first drink. She was too busy talking to the other people. –__–

Great way to spend an hour in between flights. When I arrived, the bartender told me that she was closing up and that I would be her last customer but cleverly, as more people approached(more than 30 minutes after I sat down) she helped them as well and told them the Same thing. $ 10 for a glass of wine and a Pepsi. Not bad. Although they didn’t have Chardonnay.

After my six hour layover extended into an eight hour layover I decided that a drink was in order. I was craving a margarita so instead of heading to the wine restaurant/bar, I went to this bar which is randomly located in a walkway towards gates 43 – 45 in terminal C. While nothing about the bar itself was spectacular(after all it is in an airport hallway!) all my stars go for the service. The friendly attentive bartender really made everyone feel at home which is a feat when you’re stuck away from home. Apparently she works as a flight attendant for United as well so she knows nearly everyone who passes by including the weekly commuters.

This is a small bar on the side of a major walkway between terminals. It doesn’t have the capacity to seat many people, but if you just need a quick drink then this is the place for you. Def not a place I would sit and spend lots of time at, but we just needed a quick margarita before our flight so it sufficed. The margaritas were too sweet for us and gave us heartburn while we awaited boarding call. There weren’t enough seats at the bar so we sat at the lingering tables on the side. It’s important to note that we aren’t talking about a high-class bar/lounge area here — but a bar on the side of a walkway between terminals. So it works. The booze is adequately priced and the service is quick.

You get a lot weirdos that hang out at airport bars. But it’s cool because they provide the free entertainment while you’re enjoying a nice cool beverage. But what makes this bar different from the other airport bars… these guys dont charge you an arm and a leg for a beer. I had two beers, $ 5.50 each. Although slightly more expensive then regular bars, but definitely not in the $ 8 or $ 9 range from what I normally see in airports. Plus they have a couple of tv’s and they have several plug outlets so you can charge your phone or ipad.

Center Bar is located in the concourse just a little down from gates 43 – 45 in terminal C. There are only a dozen or so seats at the bar, but there were several open when I arrived. Was able to get a quick beer with good service and was able to watch the end of the bruins-capitals game. One bottle of Shiner was $ 5.50 which seems about right for an airport bar. I wish I’d found this gem sooner.

overpriced for what it is in the airport. there’s a couple other bars around there that are better plus the music wasn’t that great.
