Shout out to the cheapest and most surprising Desi food joint in Houston. My Friday prayers are incompletely with a meal at this joint. Their chicken tikka and grilled kebabs are blazing but real deal is their ‘pricing’ too good to be true.

As another person said, wish I can give 0 stars! This is the worst resturant(if you want to call it) I had visited. We got there around 8 pm and ordered Goat biryani, butter chicken, chicken kabob and garlic naan. The guy goes«we don’t have garlic naan». Fine we will take butter naan. We ordered a chaat also and he goes not sure we have it but you can panni poori. He goes inside and said they have chaat. We wait for 40 minutes to get the chaat. Then the guy comes and goes, sorry we don’t have any goat left. Wife said chicken is fine. Wait for another 30 minutes and we get the food. Nothing outstanding in reference to the taste. Then we overheard the server mention goat biryani to another group that came 15 – 20 minutes later than us. So we asked her, are they getting goat biryani and she goes«YES». We were like what the heck? So when paying the check, I asked why did the other party who came much later than us was able to get goat biryani and not us? He knew that he got caught and started to gave some BS answer. We just paid and walked out. STAYAWAY!

I would rated this restuarant ZERO stars but couldn’t. Where do I begin?! This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. This place charges for everything. They have an 18% service charge with any purchase. They cannot force a charge that high on a party of TWO. These people are overpriced. The food is not worth the price. It seems like they reheat their food. The workers there are so unprofessional and will yell at each other across the room from each other with customers in the restaurant. The owner is nothing but money hungry. They don’t even run the A/C in their restaurant. Not to mention how filthy this place is. There are cockroaches and flies all over this place. The restrooms are disgusting. Do not waste your money and time in this place because you will leave unhappy regardless. It was a mistake going to this restaurant, I learned my lesson.

I come to this place regularly for Lahori Chole(spicy chick pea or garbanzo curry) and Chicken Kebabs(mild and juicy). You can compliment you curry with a paratha which is super delicious(don’t count calories). The biryani and raita here are pretty decent too. Please ask for his spicy chutney with the kebabs! The food here is on point but the location/ambience needs more work, so I would give this place a 4! I would recommend Lahori Chole and chicken kebabs!

This place is super shady and gross. It’s in a terrible location and the owner is super grumpy. They have an 18% service charge, and there were flies flying around us. The food wasn’t bad but one of our dishes was supposedly«goat» but I could tell it wasn’t. I am not planning to come back.

We been to this restaurant twice. 1st time, we liked the food and 2nd time, we ordered the food to go. We had to wait for more an hour even though there were no customers. We had ordered tikka, butter chicken and biryani. Tikka and butter chicken was good, but biryani was completely spoiled. Very bad smell and was sticky. If you order to go, make sure you taste in the restaurant first and then go.

Nice enough people running it but there are so many better places for this type food. The butter chicken was decent but kabab rolls and chicken boti very very mediocre. The kashmiri chai was kinda forced upon us at $ 3 a pop. No «would you like some? «just«have the kashmiri chai its really good» then brought to us without us even ordering it.

Delicious boti and kabab roll and the kashmiri chai was the best. Nice atmosphere. Chicken tikka

Order from here all the time. They tend to take time making the food but it’s really good.

This location is pretty awkward, you pass up the Chase bank and turn in the next section. The service is 4⁄5. The food came out a decent timing, the owner checked up on us often. One thing that kind of tick me off was when I asked if there was anything not too spicy and she was like«then you no eat here». It just sounded rude and uninviting. The food is 3⁄5. Not the best, maybe because I just not into Indian food. I had the chicken kahab, my little cousin had the chicken tender. They looked freshly made. Price is a 3/5, the menu said tha naan was $ 0.99, but she changed me $ 1, no biggie you know? She didn’t tell us the price of the water either,($ 1/bottle). Everything we touched were probably charged. Cleanliness? 2⁄5. OMFG, there was flies flying everywhere! We couldn’t not shoo them away fast enough. Overall, I wouldn’t come back, not my type of food.

Have been couple of times to this place and the things we have tried every time which are by far the best in Houston are seekh kebab, chicken karahi and goat karahi. Must eat items in chatkhara

Delicious food and reasonably priced. Service is on the slower side though so I won’t recommend going there when in a hurry. Just tried their weekend buffet and it is truly 5 star. Traditional Pakistani brunch buffet with addition of omelette, pan cakes and fresh orange juice. With the current price it’s defiantly the best weekend buffet in town.

Amazing food! Very authentic. I had Lahori chole, very nice. Kebabs perfect. They also have channa chat, which is hard to find, also really good. The best things were they have the best Pani Puri! That is if you like Karachi street food. Also their Kashmiri chai is awesome. The place is really nice and spacious inside, toilet is very artistic lol. The only thing is that it’s always empty whenever I come. The only reason why I removed one star is for the service. It is horribly slow and unprofessional.

I always order the chicken boti platter… call ahead as some of times they might be out of boti. it happened to us couple of times… i would usually call 45 minutes ahead. The biriyani and chicken boti tastes so good… only if they had more service people.

This place is great! A hidden gem under the bridge by west park tollway and 6. Me and my friend came here kind of randomly, but we both love Indian food so we decided to try it out. We had the chicken kabobs, chicken briyani and the butter chicken. We also had the butter naan and they were nice enough to make us garlic naan, even though it wasn’t even on their menu! Now that’s what I call service. Everything was delicious and the portions were big and very reasonably priced, all under $ 10 each. The staff was very friendly and gave us advice on what to eat as well as checking on us regularly. All in all I had a great experience and would not hesitate coming back. The only«negative» thing I have to say(merely a detail) is that it was freezing in the restaurant(possibly because it was like 40 outside) so we had to keep our jackets on the whole time, but don’t let that stop you from trying this place out, bring a sweater if you have to, it’ll be well worth it!

Wonderful food with authentic flavor and superb service. The owner is one of the friendliest businessmen I’ve met. He takes so much pride in his restaurant and it truly shows. They all made us right at home when we came for the first time. I would highly recommend trying this place. We were so pleasantly excited about our experience!

Visited this place first time. Food was very good. Its authentic Pakistani food that tastes excellent. Only complain is the cleanliness. The whole time we were there, there was a fly around us! Also, their silverware was nasty with marks from old unwashed residue. Yikes! I suggest you go for all disposables. Also, the direction is super confusing to this place. Neither google map nor the Garmin GPS helped. Look for the Chase bank and go to tis parking lot. You will then see this restaurant.

I came back on a Thursday evening because the great experience I had the first time around. My wife and I ordered the chicken biryani, lahori cholay, bihari kabob, naan and kashmiri chai. The owner Syed Aamir was there. He was friendly and spoke excellent English and helped us figure out what to eat. We realized that we ordered too much food. 1 biryani plate and one other dish is more than enough to feed two people. We loved the biryani and thought everything else was very good. The kashmiri chair was rich and topped with nuts. Tasted sweet without sugar which means the milk was cooked or steamed in a way to impart sweetness. The food is authentic.
