I went to eat there with my girlfriend and she found a dead fly in her honey sesame chicken. Pretty much killed our appetite. My chicken with vegetables was not bad but it is not a good feeling to find a bug in the food.

Had my card stolen and somebody used it and charged it up. I tried calling this place to tell them what had happened. They told me I can only use cash now. They don’t care about there customers, they just want there money. Tired to pay them back and they still said no. I had 25 people buying from them, now all of them said the will never go there again.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. They have white meat which is always good compared to grey meat I’ve had at other places. The food is always flavorful however I wish when you asked for extra spicy they would make it extra spicy.

Honest and True review — No Baloney This place will NEVER be known for its food. The sole purpose is convenience(either for delivery or distance purposes, etc.). The food itself is mediocre or bland at best(we use delivery a lot and have skipped around their menu trying a little of everything, often). The MAIN thing to remember when ordering from here is that they count EVERYSINGLEPENNY so be prepared to expect the very minimum amount of meat in your dishes, the very minimal amount of spices, and plainest presentations, a $ 2 delivery fee and now a $ 25 minimum sub-total per order, along with paying extra for any condiments, sauces, etc. Again though, if you must absolutely have delivery, and due to the small number of restaurants that deliver in their area, they are convenient. The Chicken wings are not bad and the spare ribs are good. The Egg Foo Young is a hit or miss as we’ve had it where it was not bad, and then we have had it stuffed with all onions(so maybe different cooks?); the Lo-Mein is decent, the Sweet n’ Sour anything leaves MUCH to be desired. Again, first and foremost remember that they tend to be driven by every penny spent/earned, so if you take that as your guide you will realize where the food will lack(i.e., big dishes but mostly all veggies and little meat; very bready sweet n’ sour fare with tiny pieces of meat; bland, Chinese rice … you get the picture). If you NEED delivery though, this is a fine alternative to pizza.

We order to go from here sometimes because we get coupons, good Chinese big portions but nothing to rave about, convenient for us, closest to our neighborhood.

I like it. It’s typical cheap Chinese food. Good for the price. It’s close to home which is cool. However, if I’m not lazy and really want some AMAZING Chinese, I’ll drive somewhere else and pay for a real dinner. Don’t knock it though. If you’re hungry and craving Chinese, order from here. Food is flavorful and not dry. I always get the Lo Mein and get it a little spicy. Gyoza was okay, and egg drop soup is hit or miss. My parents like the egg fu young

Horrible service. The main lady is very rude. Rolls eyes when asking simple questions, such as «what time do you close ?», her reply–«Not right now !! Not right now !!» This among several other ludicrious replies. Do not eat here!

I had a great experience ordering delivery. Food came in 25 minutes(under the quoted time of 35 – 40). I had the chef special Crispy Shrimp which was spicy but not too much, came with tons of shrimp and broccoli in a nice sauce. My boyfriend had the chef special beef and shrimp. It was amazing! Light sauce, mushrooms, snow peas, and lots of other vegetables. They substituted fried rice for free, but I’ll stick with white next time, didn’t like the seasoning on the fried. Best part? A delicious bowl of won ton soup with tons of won tons for 1.75! Super cheap! The meal itself ended up being a little pricey, 37 with tip, but I had 3 meals of leftovers thanks to generous portions. For 5 full meals, you can’t beat the price or flavor.

We ordered our meal online! We didn’t have to wait too long and we ordered quite a few items off of the menu. It is a typical Americanized Chinese restaurant that isn’t bad at all. I would most likely order from them again if I am craving Chinese food.

Got some lunch specials delivered to the office and service was prompt(maybe a little too prompt since we got our food at 10:30AM). There are plenty of specials to choose from and all between $ 5 – 7 with your choice of white/fried rice and egg roll/crab rangoon. They said their food has no MSG and is cooked in 100% vegetable oil which I do appreciate, but at the same time, it is less tasty. The rice tasted undercooked but chicken dishes were decent.

Chun Chinese Café is medium at best. The food is generic for the genre and offers little in terms of exciting and unique tastes. The service is similar in that it is adequate, but never does anything special for me. It is also noteworthy that they seem to get every dish out VERY quickly… this is good for my time constraints at lunch(usually taking a break from the office), but also concerning in terms of freshness of the food. This is probably why a lot of the dishes taste the same… BOTTOMLINE: Ok Chinese food option on 249 by Antoine. Not the best, not the worst.

This place needs to be shutdown due to health reasons. I watched them go to 3 tables and put similar foods together that we’re leftover so that they could prepare it for someone else’s order. The manager told the buss boy not to throw that food away and when she saw that I heard her she freaked out. 04⁄15 I don’t know where these other Unilocalers are eating else where and thinking this place is good compared to some of the other ones around town.

I think Chun Chinese Café is an absolutely solid Americanized Chinese Restaurant. I haven’t had any problems with the service. I was asked to wait before being seated while the waitress was running a credit card, but I don’t think that’s too much to ask. My co-workers have ordered the«hot pot» from the restaurant before, which is more akin to the Korean Stone Bowls than a Chinese Hot Pot. The bowls contain tons of veggies and meat slathered in a brown sauce. It’s pretty tasty and will feed you for about two meals if you’re not a blackhole eater. It’s pretty pricy compared to the lunch menu, so you’ll have to be in the mood to be a big spender. I’ve had two of their tofu dishes(Tofu & Broccoli and Sa Cha Tofu). Both times, the fried tofu was slightly crunchy and had a good texture when I bit in. I thought it was done pretty well even with the relatively generic«Asian» sauce on top of it. I added liberal amounts of chili oil(not found on the table, you’ll have to ask for it) and I feel like that elevated both dishes. I sampled my co-worker’s Pineapple Chicken and the flavor reminded me of traditional, HK style Sweet and Sour Pork. Although the crispy chicken was battered and fried as per American standards, the sauce was incredibly tasty and had tons of pineapples(probably from a can). The lunch specials come with the option of Hot & Sour Soup, Egg Drop Soup, or Wonton Soup. I’ve gotten the Wonton Soup before and the wonton are pretty sizable and made with your standard bland, pork filling. Nothing really of note. The broth reminds me of the chicken powder broth that I make with my vermicelli for a lazy night in. I really enjoyed their Hot & Sour soup. There were lots of mushrooms and tofu and bamboo shoots. Although these veggies didn’t add a lot of flavor, they added some texture. I added some chili oil to my soup and it really made a difference. The lunch special also comes with the choice of an egg roll or crab rangoon. I can never resist a crab rangoon, so I got it. The cream cheese filling is slightly sweet and artificial tasting. It wasn’t my favorite thing. I got the egg roll my next time and it’s your standard cabbage packed egg roll. Neither one really wins in this situation and I gave mine away the last time I went(but I’m trying to keep my girlish figure). Overall, I appreciate the nice, quick lunch I had with my co-workers and would go back again.

Ok let me start with the good first. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken family dinner. The food looked good and was fresh. The restaurant was clean. The disappointing thing was that I ordered to go and they forgot to put the eggroll and crab puff in my bag. When I called to tell them, the cashier was like«oh well, I pushed the wrong button.» I understand what another reviewer said about the unfriendly smirks, all I can say is that if your friendly with the cashier she is friendly with you, but there was something haughty about her, like she was doing you a favor. There dinner prices are steep and the most popular items on the menu General Tso’s chicken and Orange Chicken do not come as a dinner but only as an entrée, so if you are desiring an eggroll or small soup be prepared to pay $ 12 +. ALL I CANSAYISTHATWHENPANDAEXPRESSOPENSACROSSTHEWAY, THEYAREGOINGTO lose alot of business! Despite the latter being considered«fast food» chinese, I think people will not be able to rationalize paying extra for what Chun is offering.

Don’t waste your time here there are hundreds of other asian restaurants that even have 1 star better at least It just seems like they are doing you a big favor by serving you if you can get past the smirks on their faces then good luck and happy eating. So close to home but I have to drive it would bother enjoy at least a little bit satisfaction.
