Terrible, I tried to order delivery and the owner couldn’t figure out where the address I gave him was and told me I was too far for delivery. I was literally 3mins away which is less than a mile. He hung the phone up after yelling«too far where are you I’m on 249 too far»

Their food is DELICIOUS!!! They have the best Vegetarian«chicken» General Tso’s I have ever had in my life! The«chicken» is actually made of vegetarian seitan but it tastes exactly like chicken! I crave it almost everyday now. I also ordered their Fried Rice and Lo Mein, both of which tasted really good. And the owners of this restaurant are extremely nice! I highly recommend this place.

This is not a gourmet restaurant. I often order lunch from this place, and it’s always great. The portions are huge, but I just save the leftovers for another meal. The staff is very nice, but does not speak English very well, so it’s important to have your order repeated back to you before they start making it. They have the best sesame chicken!

ABSOLUTEWORST. My husband and I have ordered from here several times and this place fails terribly, no matter what we order. I have no idea what the people giving good reviews to this place were smoking when they ate food from here, but no. Don’t waste your time or money. I wouldn’t give this stuff to my dog and truly believe that the ONLY reason this place is open is because it’s used for money laundering or something. There’s got to be a Heisenberg here. That’s the ONLY explanation.

It’s not gourmet or fancy; it’s your basic tasty Chinese takeaway. We’ve tried many of the other Chinese/Japanese restaurants in the area that deliver, and Egg Rolls beats them by far! We usually get either sesame chicken, general tso’s chicken, or sweet and sour chicken which are all perfect! Their fried rice is my favorite of all the local restaurants. I love their cheese puffs! Everyone has always been really nice, and delivery has always been very quick!

Ordered delivery because it’s so close but Everything I got here(mai fun, kung pao four delight, and hot and sour soup) were disgusting, nothing tasted good. Everything had the same bland taste… I’m never getting anything there again. :(

I’m not one to write a negative review, but I feel I need to on this restaurant. We ordered crab Rangoon, steamed pork dumplings, chicken and pea shoots with fried rice and friend shrimp for our family meal this evening. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the chicken was well seasoned. Otherwise, the batter was super thick, the Rangoon was super chewy, and the dumplings tasted super funky. Sorry… we won’t be back, but I hope things get better before anyone else stops by.

I was very hungry. Came around 8pm and the place was empty. Ordered Fried Chicken and Beef with Broccoli. Requested for the Beef and Broccoli to be Spicy. Fried Chicken was Bland. I don’t think they salted it at all. They forgot to add any spice at all to the beef with broccoli. Didn’t add any chili on the side. Also, very bland. Tastes like beef and corn starch. There is sauce, but maybe they combined the oyster sauce with water to cut cost? I don’t know if that’s true, but its how it tastes. Again, it tastes like they forgot to add any salt at all. Salt is basic, isn’t it? Seems like it should be a minimum requirement. The thing that makes you stand out is whatever else you add to make it taste good. But unfortunately, it tastes like no one cares. $ 19 for everything. Only three things are running through my head after eating this: Bland, Expensive, and Shameful. Never Again. *Note: This was so bad, I decided to write a review. If you look at my profile, I typically don’t care. This was that bad.

It’s almost 9PM at night. I just traveled from southern California(3.5 hour flight) and was too tired to stop anywhere for dinner along the way to my hotel. I missed the cutoff for placing a GrubHub order(RIGHT in the middle of an order too!), so I was desperate. I looked on Unilocal, and this place was still accepting online orders via the Unilocal app. I saw the number of stars and thought, «It can’t be THAT bad, right?» Wrong! Wow, this is very bad. Stay away at all costs! The pan-fried dumplings were very white and pan-fried lightly only on one side. They are so sour that I only ate half of one. I don’t even know how to make pot stickers this sour, which is a strange taste to me for gyoza! You get 6 of them, but how anyone can even eat a whole one is a mystery! The egg drop soup had globules of what feels like fat but is probably cornstarch. You know how when someone makes turkey gravy from scratch and it’s all lumpy because the fat failed to render down? Those are the kind of globs I am talking about! Not only is there lack of flavor, but I only took a few bites because I didn’t want to risk getting sick. The soup is so thick that even jello jiggles more! I had ordered chow mein(and yes, this was printed on the receipt), but instead they delivered chop suey. I was very confused. With the first bite, I couldn’t figure out where the noodles were and why the dish was engulfed in this brown sauce. I thought, «Wow, there’s a LOT of cabbage in this! Perhaps the noodles are so thin compared to the cabbage that I’m not seeing them.» No, the noodles really did not exist, and this would also explain why a side of white rice(not Jasmine rice from Thailand) was included. Once I figured out what the dish was, I tried to give it a chance, but no… just no… the vegetables were limp, and the brown sauce was… terrible to put it nicely. It saddens me that a place like this even exists. It’s like the owners are being traitorous to my race, as I myself am Chinese. Chinese people have always exceled in everything — education, getting a high-paying job, etc. In contrast, the food here isn’t even worth giving to a dog. Obviously the people who own this restaurant are failures! — Small egg drop soup $ 2.09 Dumplings(6/order) $ 6.39 Egg rolls(2/order) $ 2.69 Chow Mein $ 8.99 Unilocal delivery fee $ 2.00 Tax $ 1.83 Total $ 23.99

First thing, delivery was horrible, the guy was so rude, rolling his eyes and walking away when I asked questions. I had so much food missing that I payed for, it was not even worth calling them back. Food was not even good. This place has horrible customer service, I do not recommend this place at all. This place deserves no stars.

Ordered take out on a weeknight. On-line ordering worked okay and order was delivered as requested. The delivery man was very nice and polite. The meal arrived about when they said it would, 45 minutes after order. The food was a huge disappointment. The WonTon and Hot and Sour soup were not good. The latter was hot but instead of sour it tasted like chicken broth. Egg rolls tasted like every other average egg roll I have ever had. The entrees were very poor. Nothing tasted fresh, flavors were off and my fried rice was dry and pretty much tasteless. Won’t be ordering again.

The office decided we wanted Chinese food for lunch today and we ordered from Eggrolls. They allowed us to order separately with different credit cards, which was a plus. I ordered chicken fried rice with wonton soup. Large portion of rice but very bland. Wonton was almost flavorless. My fortune cookie didn’t have a fortune and was stale, as was co-worker #2’s.(Hers had a fortune, however.) Co-worker ordered four Cheese Puffs. She said they were hard and almost inedible. Co-worker #2 ordered Orange Chicken. She said hers tasted burned and wasn’t pleased with the flavor whatsoever. This place has been crossed off our list.

This was a delivery order and the little service I got was terrible, these guys are somewhere between not having an idea of how to treat customers and ripping you off with false advertisements/coupons. My order was incomplete and when I called they just said that on my next order I would get credit for the missing items… like if I ever would order from them again. Regarding the taste of the food… I’ve microwaved better tasting frozen Chinese food. Will not order from them again and definitely not recommending.

Ordered from here several times for delivery. We have tried the General Tso’s chicken, General Tso’s shrimp, the Kung Pao chicken, and the shrimp with mixed vegetables. They were all delicious! We enjoyed them. The fried and white rice tasted freshly made(ie not all dried out). The pork and vegetable egg rolls are delicious. We order an extra order of vegatable egg rolls every time. Quck delivery. We have tried some of the other fast food chinese resturants in this area and we always come back to Egg Rolls.

Bland. That’s about the only word that comes to mind when thinking about my dinner there last week. Fresh veggies and good chicken but the sauce on my spicy tangy chicken was neither spicy nor tangy, just bland.

1. A place called Eggrolls is not going to be fancy. Duh! 2. Fried rice is Supposed to be Greasy. Duh! 3. The menu says no MSG. Duh! I was just reading over some of the reviews and I think this place has low stars bc people are comparing it to P.F. Changs. Ive been going to this place since 2009 and have NEVER gotten sick. And I have a low tolerance for MSG. Whataburger makes me sick. Did you know certain items at Whataburger have MSG. . Anyway this place is def NOT5 stars. But stick to the Eggrolls(its called Eggrolls) and go in for the lunch specials(under $ 6) & you will walk away happy.

Great vegetarian options — some of the best in Houston. The seitan General Tso’s «chicken» is fantastic! They are a mom & pop,(mom works the kitchen, dad mans the register & phone & grandma waitresses) hole in the wall, buried in a strip mall little place, but the food is consistent & really, really great! I can’t speak for all of the negative reviews regarding the meat dishes; I don’t eat meat so I’ve never had them, but the vegetarian dishes are great. I’ve been eating here for about 5 years, so I’ve had at least 50 meals. No illness, no issues, just good food.

Picked up a to go order today and this is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I tried it today for the first time and all of the food failed miserably. Everything tasted nasty and had a sour finish. Combination fried rice– FAIL, I give it no stars. We threw it away in our garbage. It was not even close to being a bad fried rice. Pepper Steak — The absolute worst Pepper Steak i have ever eaten. The meat did not have a beef flavor and it had a sour finish. Garlic Shrimp– Most garlic shrimp I eat at other restaurants taste the same so i know how it should taste. The garlic shrimp at this restaurant does not even come close to what garlic shrimp should taste like. Bottomline is that this restaurant serves sub par and actually terrible tasting chinese food. Don’t believe me, try it for yourself and you will see what I am talking about.

This was the 1st time our office ordered from this place & it will definitely be the last. When we called to place the order there was extremely loud background noise which was very annoying, you could hear people talking & phones ringing. When we got our food it looked OK, nothing really great, especially the sweet & sour chicken, just plain and the fried rice was basically brown rice. After we all ate we all(6 of us) got sick… they use MSG which caused headaches and nausea to us all, one employee had to go home sick. In other words bad service & very bad food. Word of advise, stop using MSG.
