I live close and rarely do Coaches. Many years ago after a pay per view fight we had a little damage done to our late model car and I vowed no more visits. This month I relented and went back. What it is: A Vegaslike expanse with every type of patron. Location borders on the heavy industry located a mile or two to the south. Jones Road now runs over Hempstead and feeds to the once suburban Jersey Village area. Now all things are right in the mix. I like the rowdy feel. Huge screens beg your attention as you try to talk to your friend. Smoking is encouraged Jersey Village haunts still allow fumar and if you want to drink and not smell like smoke, you will have to drive to Cypress or inside the Beltway. A handful of bars within a mile are the same. I like the vibe. It used to be if you wanted to go out and catch a game and some bar food you WANTED to have to wash your clothes. Food is average. Beer selection is unmatched unless you want to drive to city centre. Staff is not«hot» but experienced and many regulars mean a slim chance at a bar seat after work. Feels like a Houston bar should, cold beer, good yuks and a lot of people there for the same reason that you are.
