Seems like no matter what time of day you come in, there’s always a long line and lack of clerks. Business model is cheap tools and cheap labor. Is what it is.

Not a Happy used to be a long time customer. Went in to buy a pressure washer, at $ 279. 00, not a super great deal, but I had a 25% off coupon for Mothers Day, they said that Predator Gas powered products do not apply, along with most other high priced items. Sure enough in the fine print said this, however nothing on the pressure sprayer said Predator, it did say Pacific Hydrostar? So now time has run out on my Useless 25% Worthless Discount Coupon! Beware this outfit is scamming their customers.

Bring yourself over here should there be a great sale that they host in the parking lot. This is the closest tool store in my hood so when i get waist deep in my truck or wife’s car i can run here & pick up something to get me over the hump & out of the slump.
Although i’m not pleased with some of the quality of tools here, as long as you’re not doing demolition work you should be ok. & if you are, don’t fret, you can do more than get by with most of the larger tools. Wrenches, sockets, drill bits and vice’s i’ve had my trouble with.

My dad’s favorite place. He lives over 30 min away from one and I live 5 min from one. I always get his birthday and Christmas presents here. I often go in with a newspaper ad or a list and find an employee and they find everything I need quickly and without any trouble. I think the feel sorry for this musician young lady looking for stuff for her dad.
Great prices, great service, and great location. Go and see them.

Harbor Freight is the place to go if you need reasonably built tools at incredibly inexpensive prices. You are not necessarily going to receive the most knowledgeable assistance in the store, so do your research beforehand, but given the significant discounts, this is not a surprise. I’ve had positive experiences with their private label products in the past, therefore HF is one of my favorite destinations for go if I need a stopgap tool (such as a heatgun) which wont get a ton of use, but I could never find at a big box retailer.
