Denny’s gets props for putting up with these pretentious, self-important know-nothing college students and their howling, uncivilized antics at this location. The service is prompt the food is lock-step Denny’s and the prices are just right. No complaints here. Wish these pudding brained kids would go elsewhere…

We went to this Denny’s at about 6:30pm on a Saturday evening(11÷7÷15). We had a party of 15. With there only being about 4 other families dining, we were able to get seated just as quickly as they could push together tables to create one long table. The waitress arrived with a very sarcastic attitude and took our drink orders as well as food and appetizer orders since we all were ready to order. The waitress was very rude and disrespectful especially to the children. The manager told her waitress that the waitress would have to go help cook because she had other stuff to do. We ordered 4 assorted appetizer trays and once they arrived we asked for some ranch dressing for our fried jalapeños, to which the waitress proclaimed, «They have some down there», referring to the people at the end of our table(who were using the dressing for their appetizer tray). The waitress never brought the ranch. Finally, she decided to bring out the drinks.(After all the appetizers were eaten). ½ our party got their food, the other half of us sat there and once everyone was completely done eating, then we got our food. When I asked for some A1 steak sauce our waitress made faces at me behind my back(guess she should make sure the customers husband isn’t sitting directly across and can see you). When I asked for napkins she shook her finger at me and walked off. I did get napkins though. When I asked for a to-go bag she told me, «stop being so needy.» As if this isn’t bad enough… When it came time for the bill she said that if you’re gonna pay with credit card you have to put the tip in right away or she can’t get it.(???) so she was told to just add on 15% and run it. She snarled and said she didn’t want to do math. SERIOUSLY?! Also, personal hygiene should be a priority. Deodorant should have been used. Sadly, our waitress’s body odor was so pungent that just walking by was a violation to our senses. Needless to say, never again… NEVER again at this Denny’s!!!

If it was only cause of not so great service I received tonight amidst a total of two tables in this Denny’s, I would not have wanted to go through the trouble of writing a bad review! On top of the inadequate service, the food was the worst experience of all my Denny’s experience combined! Mind you I worked late nights when going through college and would find myself eating at Denny’s at least twice a month for four years… This sizzling human scull dish called for ghost chili pepper sauce that was less spicy than the regular tabasco sauce! I had to pour the tobacco sauce to down the greasy stir fried eggs and two slivers of jalapeño pepper. The sausage that came with it was so hard that could not even be cut by the knife! Probably need a steak knife but then again who could chew it without giving up a piece of your tooth? LOL. After attempting ¼ of the sausage I gave up! Mind you I was hungry — dinner at 11pm was no longer my usual hour! The funny thing was when I spoke to the manager who was sitting in the next booth witnessing the server’s inadequacy of taking away my water even when I was still sitting there waiting for my receipt… I told her I doubt I would ever come back and am very surprised this location could still be running with this kind of food and service, she immediately told me this is a lot better than other location where you could not get service after two hours! Hahaha. I see why the food is the way it is and the server the way she was– inadequate training all around! Must be very hard to find good people nowadays! Especially in Denny’s! Are you sure you still want to go there? Especially at this location! I certainly would not!!!

We had a party of 7. Upon entering we were greeted and seated immediately in the back of the restaurant. As we were walking to our seats all 3 of us Ladies were starting to get overwhelmed by the heat. My husband immediately went to the hostess station and asked the hostess to turn up or on the AC. When he was informed the AC was not working on that side we were offered to move to the front of the restaurant. Our waitress who had already taken our drink orders assisted us in the front room. Even though we had asked for 3 separate checks she was courteous and nice. Kept up on our drink refills. Also offered us to go cups for our drinks. Service — Our waitress was very nice and we have no complaints on her service I would give her alone 5 stars! Cleanliness — Out of 7 sets of silverware piece(21) we had to send 2 back because they had dried on food on them. Now we are going to minus a star. Food — If you order it the way it comes. It comes out exactly but if you ask for specialty items for example no mayo or no onions or spicy jack cheese be prepared to not get it the way you asked for it. minus a star Presentation of food. You will have to see my pictures to understand why I am making this apart of the deduction. The Buffalo strips was simply placed on plate with no sauce, garnishments, No celery. It just make it look unappealing. minus a star. Over all when I visit this area again I will not return

Do not waste your time and money going to this place. You’re better off eating crap off the floor. I don’t understand how service can be so terrible. I’ve never had an experience like this at any restaurant before in my life. I got there at 12:30 in a great mood, excited for Denny’s, because I do love Denny’s. I ordered a grand slam slugger and the waitress didn’t even offer juice or a drink(which comes along with that meal). My party was 3 people, and it took them an hour to bring out our food when there was only 4 or 5 parties in the whole restaurant, with 3 servers working. When I received my food an hour later, they forgot to add my hash browns and I had to ask twice for them to bring it out. What really pissed me off is that the cooks make eggs every day and when me and my friend gotten our eggs, over easy and sunny side, he yolk was busted! How can you mess up eggs when that’s all you make?! Every day?! The chefs in the back are slow and obviously stupid as hell. It’s now 1:50 and I am now leaving this restaurant. I will never come back to this place. Ever.

We were greeted by a host that was focused on a young female customer that walked in right after us. He led us to a table that had sugar ants climbing all over. We moved ourselves to the next booth. The silverware was dirty, my coffee cup had lipstick and the little creamer pitcher had coffee grounds floating in it. We explained to our waitress that the reason we moved was because of ants. The host sat it again and the people requested to be moved. The third time he sat it I told the lady there were ants because she had a young child with her so she moved, as well. Finally after the FIFTH time they say the table and the people moved they sprayed it down. The hostess seemed irritated that we said anything and said«I dint see any ants». We paid our ticket and left.

The service here is appalling. Our waitress kept forgetting things, and then vanished halfway through our meal, never to be seen again. One other waitress was running around doing the work of 3 people while the shift manager was kicked back behind the counter, gabbing and gossiping. We had to make a check-mark hand signal to get another random waitress to bring us our check(meanwhile the manager just looked at us and continued her chat). When we went to the register to pay, the maanger rang us up without so much as a hello, thanks, or goodbye. Will never go here again! Also the food quality is awful!

The pancakes were the only good thing I experienced. The rest of the food was cold and the waitress was inattentive and had dirty clothes and fingernails. I was severely disappointed with my experience especially since this is a pretty upscale area. I will not be returning

This place was awesome. We went in completely hammered from partying at Sherlocks down the road. It was 2am and they still welcomed and Manager Scott made sure everything was perfect for us. Thanks to his positive and cheerful attitude our night was made even better. Great experience, fast service, and yummy food!

Surprisingly good service. We went for dinner Christmas night after flying into Houston. It was one of the few restaurants open in the area and the restaurant was packed. They told us the wait was 20 min and an hour to get food as there was only one cook on. I rate them four stars because they were honest, the estimate was accurate, and the waiter(who was covering a LOT of tables) was great. He stopped back and refilled drinks, when the food came out everything was right, and everyone around us had similar service.

Nothing special about this Denny’s, but a few notes on this particular location. Our group comes on Sunday mornings, we usually have between 5 and 12 folks. Sometimes they have trouble fitting us all together(understandable), however at times I can see a few tables that could be combined that are laying fallow while we’re waiting. The service can be a little uneven(otherwise would have rated 3 stars). Sometimes an order placed waits 20 minutes or more, when others are getting much faster service. I know some of this is our large group, but at times a contributing factor seems to be the disappearence of a waitress(so I’m extrapolating that the delay is not always the kitchen). Occasional mix up of the order(last week I got hash browns instead of the wheat toast I requested). Little things like that. They do handle separate checks well, something not all diners have mastered. Two stars for me is an average place(below good), I’m calling it that. With a little more even handling of our group, this could be a three star or even four.

I’ve eaten at my fair share of Denny’s restaurants and I don’t expect a grand experience, but when your waiter goes on a 20 minute break right after you’ve gotten your food and the one other waitress only bothers to make eye contact with you long enough to give you the evil eye? That equals a very bad dining experience. If you’re in the area and want to dine at Denny’s, skip this location and the one near the mall and drive 10 minutes to La Porte and eat there. The waitresses are missing a few teeth and you can tell they’ve lived a rough life, but they’re super friendly, pay attention to their customers, and always make sure your order is correct.

Like everybody keeps saying, it’s Denny’s. It’s a diner, what do you expect? We eat breakfast here about once a week, but usually nothing else. Tonight the restaurant we went to said it was going to take 30 minutes to prepare the meal we’d gone there to get so we said, «Another time» and went to Denny’s. It’s diner food. Rarely awful and it’s hard to screw up eggs. In the mornings the servers all know us so they are very friendly and responsive — not so at night because we almost never go. Tonight we had their BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger without the BBQ sauce. We waited longer than expected as there was almost no one else there. When it came it had BBQ sauce. The server got it right the kitchen messed up. I’d had this burger once before and liked it – the BBQ sauce ruined it. But, we’d waited too long to wait for a do over. The seasoned fries were good. ___ We’ve Eaten Out Every Meal for 25 years

I understand it’s Denny’s but COMEON. Poorly staffed and terrible waiters. A party of 18 was seated when we arrived, no cook on staff, had the manager and two servers on line. Our waiter was texting in plain sight, negligent on refills, and didn’t even tell us the 45 minute delay for our food was due to this large party. To top it all off he saw all the dirty plates on our table, didn’t pre bus and decided to go smoke instead. We had to go up front and ask one of the many waiters standing around to help us. The girl couldn’t even separate a check properly. Granted this was the Friday night graveyard shift but I have never received such poor service in any Denny’s ever.

The worst Dennys I have been to in a while. This place looked rough when I pulled up should have took it as a sign. The inside was filthy and musty. I saw mold growing on a celing tile. Bathroom was dirty and food was sub par. Avoid if possible. I love Dennys but this one takes the cake as the worst I’ve been to.

I wish I had an option to not to give any stars… service is slow… staff is rude… and cook is looking outside the kitche half the time… 4 out of 5 time they have messed up my dish or forgot to give me the sides. If you are going fot quick bite, this is not the restaurant for u. This time when I went it took them 40 mins to get my skillet and burger for my wife. As usual my sauce on the dish was missing and eggs were missing too. And this si when restaurant was just 10% full, how in the world they run this place is a mystery… next time I would rather go to dennys by I45 and bay area blvd exit…

Denny’s can be described as «convenient». It is ALWAYS open and the food is not awful. This is not high-class dining, and this Denny’s location near Clear Lake High School proves that. We came here to eat for breakfast around 9 A. M and we both ordered breakfast. Our waitress was unfriendly, unwelcoming and when she was speaking to me, she accidentally spit something at me. Our drinks were refilled, our check delivered promptly and we had exactly what we ordered. It was decent. The food wasn’t horrible, and our waitress wasn’t awful. It just«was». It was about 20 $ for the both of us. The location was pretty clean, but I wouldn’t dare use the restrooms. Overall, if you’re hungry at 2 in the morning, hit this place up. Otherwise, stick with IHOP.

Yeah I’m reviewing Denny’s…I like Denny’s! And I like this Denny’s. No, it’s not gourmet food… no it’s not anything amazingly appealing to the palate unless you’re like me and like simple recipes made well. Hey, I’m a simple gal! It wasn’t terribly busy and we got seated quickly and our drinks order taken quickly. Our waitress was fine… she wasn’t over the top friendly but she wasn’t rude either. She did her job. The only minor problem was that the food wasn’t piping hot. It wasn’t cold, but it was just above lukewarm. Hmmm. They weren’t busy but I wonder if our food sat there for a little bit before she brought it out? We both ordered omelets and hubby ordered his special made and it came out correctly, which is always a plus! There was plenty of sausage and veggies and cheese… they did NOT skimp on the additions that’s for sure! I got the new Southern omelet from the value menu… a 3-egg omelet with sausage, cheese and a biscuit in the omelet with more cheese and gravy and crumbled sausage on top. Booyah! Now that’s some good eats! It also came with hash browns and your choice of bread for $ 6! Yeah…$ 6! And it was definitely filling! So, yeah it’s a Denny’s. Turn your nose up to it if you wish, but if you want a good, solid breakfast come join me here…
