This Denny’s had been a go to breakfast spot for me and my family for many years. It is an older place and sometimes the tables feel greasy. Guess it is just worn like an old comfortable shirt. The food is on par with what you would expect from a diner. A good place after the bars close or to deal with the headache the next day. What does stand out are the waitresses there. Many I have seen working there for many years. They are always kind and sweet to my daughters and check on you often, even when it is busy and it usually is on the weekend. So come early come hungry and leave full for not too much $$$.

They are always polite and respectful. Food was good, service was good! Will definitely be back!

Short and sweet. Wife’s over medium eggs were served fast. So fast, and so cold, it’s clear they were sitting around from another order. We sent them back. A minute later, they came back hot. Microwave hot. Centers cooked solid hot. Not what we ordered hot. We sent them back. A few minutes later? Breakfast returned to our table. Cold.

The first time I came I had a great experience. The second time I came for pick up and I was horrified. As I was walking out the server and cashier were discussing how much I «only» tipped her. Excuse me?!? I used to serve and I tip accordingly. The fact that a tip was given on a to go order should have been appreciated and NOT discussed, in a derogatory manner. Not until I left the restaurant anyway. I’m not tipping 30% on a to go order… that’s just not gonna happen. Not in this lifetime. Let’s get real people!!!

Walking in, I must have waited over 10 minutes to be seated. The place was only 10% occupied! Service was a tad underwhelming. However, my order came out fairly quick and my waitress was very courteous. Overall I would rate this Denny’s 6.5 out of 10.

If you have ever felt the need to wonder if you have died and no one bothered to tell you, then you should go to Denny’s because you will be treated like a fucking ghost. You will sit there for so long that you will begin to suspect that you are there only as some astral projection that no one can see because you haven’t quite mastered your astral projection powers because you missed that episode of Charmed where Prue learned to use hers. Just as you are about to attempt to call some mystic shaman to see if it is possible to reverse this horrible mistake of witchcraft, the manager arrives to see if anyone has come to take your drink order. The manager will take your drink order and assure you that she is going to send your server right over to take your order. Ten minutes later, you will realize that this was a lie and then begin to suspect that you are on some hidden camera show. It’s at this point, you will begin wonder what your life will be like as the next Youtube sensation as the guy who picked his nose for five consecutive minutes in the middle of a Denny’s, when you realize that only thing that is going to stop you from slowly starving to death is flagging down the manager again to see if your server has been sucked into a quantum singularity and been transported to another dimension where everything is backwards and the customers serve the waiters. Clearly he has not been because he has been diligently assisting the four tables surrounding you, including two that were seated after you. The manager will be seemingly nice, while at the same time, making it clear that she has no time to take care of you, but she will take your order anyway. While she is doing this, she will explain that your server is really busy at the moment with a large party in the back that keeps changing their mind on their order and it’s very frustrating. Because you have two legs of your own and smell the distinct aroma of bullshit, you will take a trip to the back to find no large party back there at all. Unless it is a party of actual ghosts, and then I feel that there should be some sort of disclaimer posted at the door that people are entering a haunted Denny’s. Because you aren’t equipped to communicate with the spirit world, having forgot your Ouija board at home. Your meal will continue uninterrupted because your server will still have not made an appearance and the manager is far too busy for such trivial things as refills or making sure your order is actually correct, which it will not be, but at that point you’re like«Fuck it, close enough.» You will not see another soul until you are about ready to throw your overcooked leftovers at someone and flag down the manager yet again to ask for the check. That will of course come promptly because they have all of a sudden remembered the rules of customer service. You will then discover that the manager was nice enough to not charge you for your drink, because, clearly, three dollars is the appropriate compensation for being served by the invisible man, or an apparition, or some other non-visible entity. But on the plus side, you will save a couple of dollars because if you don’t actually have a server, are you obligated to leave a tip?

We recently moved into this area and are not sure where the breakfast locations are yet… we decided to go ahead and stop at this Denny’s even though we have not cared for the other ones we visited. I like my eggs cooked over medium well… The cooks here are one of the few who know how to get it right! The grits had a great texture and were not runny and biscuits were not crumbly… the service was courteous and timely. I was pleasantly surprised as several of the Denny’s I have been to lately were disgusting. The prices are average range… $ 6.99-$ 9.99 for the breakfasts. I like the build your own grand slam. They honor military discounts with no problem and with respect.

My server name was Kenda, she was very distant towards me and my son she did bring our order very quickly and the food was good. I guess the biggest issue is Kenda took 10 minutes to check us out and there was no one in line and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. This isn’t my first bad experience at this location but it will be the last. Management is even worst.

Customer service was good. Quiet place ordered the sliders blt turkey sandwiches was good. Noticed before we left they were a few sugar ants on the hot sauce but other than that good experience.

Most of the morning staff is seasoned… has been here forever! Great bunch of ladies! Coffee is always fresh & hot & food is always good. Serves breakfast, lunch & dinner 24⁄7. My grand daughter always gets the same breakfast dish; scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon & pancakes. Must be good! Restaurant is clean(getting a make-over by the end of 2015). They have cut the smoking hours down in the smoking section and the restaurant will be completely smoke free after the remodel!!! Yay!!! Restrooms are almost always stocked and clean.

I’ll write a review simply because the 2 star rating is not fair imo. I’ve never been to this location before today but am in the area for an appointment. We don’t smoke but this Denny’s has a section for those that do. Nice! But D’s staff should consider something to reduce the strong cigarette odor that greets guest at the door. Friendly staff. Diane was our server. She is great. Great coffee, great breakfast. No complaints at our table.

Bad service and trashy customers with foul mouths. Plus they allow smoking. I am tired of giving this location a chance. No more.

There is nothing special about this location. Bog standard Denny’s. I have been to better and been to worse. Sometimes bog standard is enough.

I am just not impressed with Denny’s. Not sure how they continue to stay relevant. The reason we ended up here is because it was the only thing open after midnight with decent choices for all in our group. I am not sure why they bother to have a NON-SMOKING section, because the smell of cigarette smoke permeates the ENTIRE dining area, which makes for a horrible dining experience. I guess it’s because this location is technically Harris County that they are able to do this, but I thought they got rid of smoking in restaurants in Houston. It spoiled our whole experience.

Good service? Forget about it when you go eat here. I enjoy Denny’s, however, this place is the a shame to all the others. My hot chocolate was cold and when I asked for a new one, my food had already come out…40 minutes later! We didn’t even see our waiter to complain, since we only saw her when she took our order and brought our receipt. I will never eat at this place as long as I live in this town!

Food was ok. Waitress wasn’t great though. Would not try here again even if it was more convenient.

Ugh. My mom, my grandmother, and I decided to have lunch at this Denny’s on our way to another errand in the area. I ordered the meatball sub, which had a dried out portion in the middle of the meatball and hardened cheese that at first I thought was a misplaced toothpick. My mom had a salad, and showed me just how stale the croutons were. My grandmother had a breakfast plate, and according to her the eggs were dried out. The waiter didn’t check on us until our meal was almost done, when we clearly needed drink refills. And, speaking of check, we waited forever on it. There are many competing restaurants in this area that actually give a darn about the customers. Please patronize them instead of this Denny’s. If you absolutely must have Denny’s, there are other locations not too far away in any direction.

Firstly let me say, I know it’s Denny’s… Cheap eggs and bacon… Diner food. But when it takes 31 minutes to get your food when your the ONLY people in the place we have a problem. Oh and everything was cold, along with undercooked eggs. Not to mention we didn’t get half our order. I’ve had more than my fair share of diner food in my life this was some of the worst ever.

Like most Dennys, this place is infested with large groups of senior citizens, demandin’ their Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘n Fruities RIGHTNOW dangit! This particular restaurant was very understaffed for the crowd, the waiter was doing one heckuva job considering all the tables he had. Food was very slow coming out of the kitchen, but was very well-prepared and tasted great. At the end of our meal, though, our waiter disappeared, probably sobbing in the men’s room because he couldn’t take managing 15 tables anymore. This restaurant will be much better once management staffs the kitchen and waitstaff correctly.

They have the retro intelli crew tonight. All the other Denny’s were able to leave the mozzarella sticks out of the cheese sandwich but the cooks tonight could not figure out how to not place the mozzarella sticks inside the cheese sandwich. Besides that it smells like a freaking ashtray in here. They had to call lydia in on her night off. She is probably the only positive thing about this place. I can tell they have problems in this particular Denny’s. I hope they get their problems ironed out because this particular Denny’s I was trying to get away from the particular. «elements« (rereviewed and corrected because I hastily was reviewing and trying to type this from an Android)
