If you are looking for a dirty plate and cold breakfast there you found it! Denny’s Place looks clean but I guess they don’t care about cleanness on their plates, and temperature of the food. Especially eggs, waffles.

It’s Denny’s. Solid for breakfast or late night. My favorite things are the burgers. Very meaty taste like a burger should be. Love their Krinkle fries. My wife’s blueberry pancakes were great too… But it’s the fries and burgers that make it!

Sorry to say but poor service… I am big fan of Denny’s restaurant but I visited here first time with my international friends I disappointed with the order I order zasty nachos but it came like only chips and cheese. They were so unhelpful. Poor management zero in service, not recommended for first try.

This is one of the nicest Denny’s I’ve ever visited. The interior is usually pretty clean and it’s a lot more updated than most Denny’s I’ve gone to. A couple friends and I come here every Tuesday morning before work. The staff recognize us now, and they’re super friendly. I’ve really enjoyed having Pervis wait on us, he’s a nice guy with a great memory. Denny’s makes a good drunken late night stop or a way to kick start your day. I’ll continue going =].

We had Jasmine as a server. She did an amazing job. Our food came out exactly as requested with all the customizations. This Denny’s looks very updated and clean. We were seated immediately and did not have to wait long for our food. This is one of the best Denny’s experiences I have had. I love all of the windows. There’s a lot of light, but not too much, and the music isn’t too loud. Yay!

Well, IHOP took eggs benedict off menu so I’m over here. Senior scramble overpriced at $ 6.79 and $ 1.99 for“mild”(?) coffee w/narry a refill offer so Christina gets $ 1.50 plus a tip to be more attentive. I don’t like drinking cold coffee and certainly don’t want a refill on my way out! Not a pleasant visit.
This was my first time at this Denny’s and it was an overall okay experience. I went at around 9am on Saturday so it wasn’t crowded at all. Pros — service was wicked fast — layout of restaurant is spacious and cute — parking is easy — huge variety of food selections — waiter was friendly but didn’t seem very attentive(I said no whip cream on my pumpkin coffee and he still out whip cream) — prices of food is reasonable(my meal was $ 10 total– pumpkin coffee and ultimate skillet) Cons — ordered the ultimate skillet and it looked very different compared to the picture on the menu — food portions aren’t very big — menu pictures are deceiving — pumpkin coffee had no taste of pumpkin at all… I would come here again because of the variety of selections. It’s more of a cheap and quick breakfast place.

Portions seemed small compared to other Denny’s. Staff was friendly. It was remodeled, clean and nice atmosphere. Waiter had a little trouble with communication but we were able to clarify each time. We were glad to be able to walk from hotel and not have to drive again in Houston traffic after just driving 8 hours! Discovered later thru Unilocal that the advice the busboy gave us on a theater was probably not the safest thing for our family of 5 to do!

I’m really bad at cooking things — things includes stuff like eggs and bacon. I’m THAT bad. Luckily, where I’ve failed at cooking the most basic things, I’ve made up for it with an incredible decision on the location of my house — a mere 45 second drive from Denny’s. I’ve never timed it, but it’s something like that. Also helpful is that if I am in no condition to drive(which is more normal than it should be), I can even walk there. I don’t know if I recommend the walk, though… even with the gentrification of Cottage Grove it still seems a little suspect at times. The recent remodel is fantastic. It enables losers like myself to go up there and eat alone without looking all sad and stuff in a booth by supplying me with a great bar set up. Furthermore, the bar has a TV that’s probably always on some sort of sports program. Now I can watch NASCAR or coverage of Aaron Hernandez WHILE eating breakfast… not just any breakfast, a custom AMERICAN red, white and blue pancake special(or a variety of other American inspired specials — this most likely depends on the time of year you go, so don’t be angry if it isn’t available during your visit). I love America and I’m sure you do, as well — so this is obviously a huge plus. The wait staff is pretty good, too. They take their jobs more seriously than I take my job — do what you will with that. I don’t usually expect professionalism at a breakfast joint, but it’s welcome. They also seem like nice folks that are good at social interaction. Another odd quality for an employee at similar restaurants(like the one across the freeway).(The one across the freeway [IHOP] has some serious weirdos.) Denny’s = AMERICA. I strongly recommend Denny’s… and America. @gahteeriffico

(Disclaimer — it’s Denny’s and that alone shouldn’t rank is above 3 usually. So four stars here doesn’t mean pick this over Benjy’s or something. I think you get my drift. That is all). Okay. We were coming back last night from an outdoor concert(and yes, with a kid in tow — judge if you must!) It’s was about 11 pm and we live close to the IHOP and Denny’s but I have a past with this Denny’s. It used to be dis-gust-ing. It’s where you went at 2 am with a bunch of friends to kill time and brain cells. That location pretty much had bacon grease on the walls and I would never step in it as a true grown-up. After visiting the new Denny’s at Bunker HIll and realizing even a new Denny’s could be disgusting, I thought I was done completely. Fortunately, times are a-changing. Likely because of the construction of the Hampton Inn next door, this place has been redone in every way possible. Driving up you can tell a difference. Walking in, it is fresh and clean smelling and the interior has been redone. The staff was amazingly friendly and you could tell how hard they were trying. I think we had better, more genuine service here than Pappas last week(sorry Pappas). Everything was tasty and dang if that wasn’t a cheap ticket at the end. Especially considering the mountain of food. Denny’s, congratulations. You’re back on the family’s food rotation.

We never leave unhappy. We can have a choice of everything from salads to steak dinners, and the nachos are wonderful. Just last night had great service at 5:00 from Thomas, a new employee. Keep up the good work, Denny’s and we’ll keep coming back. Nancy Johnson

Possibly the nicest Dennys I have ever been in. Had great service! Although one time we left due to obvious prostitution going on… other than that, foods great!

This location has actually been remodeled, so it’s not as old and dingy as your normal Denny’s. It’s fairly close by Washington area, so I sometimes come here afterwards before I go home. Last time I was here parents had their young kids in tow. Not exactly sure what’s going on with that, as I’m sure kids need their sleep at 2AM! You get your $ 2, $ 4, $ 6, $ 8 menu, as these are usually the best deals. I really like their pancake puppies, as it’s my little guilty pleasure!

Denny’s is a fine establishment; I have been frequenting this location for about a year. I particularly like the fact that they remodeled this location not too long ago. Denny’s menu also went under a similar rennovation, as well. With these changes, came many improvements such as the 2, 4, 6, 8 menu, which offers over 20 options under 8 dollars. My favorite of these offerings is the buffalo chicken strip wraps with tortilla chips. I also love the quesadilla for 2 dollars, which is a great deal. Recently, to my great pleasure, they have introduced the limited-time offerings featuring the likenesses of The Hobbit. The Hobbit, one of my all-time favorite reads, blends perfectly with the menu, offering such favorites as ‘The Ring Burger’ and the ‘Hobbit Hole Breakfast’, both of which I have tried and truly do enjoy. Denny’s is a fantastic 24-hour diner, that is consistent and enjoyable for those late nights when you are just craving something good. Going forward, I expect to continue my patronage to this fine establishment, ultimately maintaining my dukedom whilst sating my hunger.

This is one of the nicer Denny’s in town. I’ve been here a few times after a long night at the bars/clubs on Washington. Manny was the server who waited on us the last time I went. He is super gay, funny, and sweet. Good job for putting up with all the late night /early morning drunk folks!

Why am I reviewing a restaurant like Denny’s? Why did I give four stars to a restaurant like Denny’s? Especially as my first review since gaining Unilocal Elite status? Well, have you ever gone running at Memorial Park after work, say, at 7pm or 8pm, and you’re like, man, I can totally make the whole 3 miles even though I haven’t had anything to eat all day? Yeah, I did that. I sprinted the last .5 mile. And collapsed on a bench. The boyfriend was like, eh, she’s just being lazy. But I needed food, PRONTO! He held my starved-for-sugar body at bay with a bag of peanut m&m’s(which I gulped down) and, just like any superhero would, he drove(practically flew) me to Denny’s. This Denny’s is located close to Memorial Park, at I-10 and Washington. It was FREEZING inside, but maybe that was just my cold sweat from almost fainting. Our waiter was the happiest man that I have ever encountered working at a Denny’s. He smiled ALLTHETIME and brought us extra syrup and sugar without our having to ask. And when he saw how messy I was, he brought extra napkins without giving me a dirty look. Our food came out quickly and customized to our precise instructions, and my body was happy with all the carbs and fat and sugar, and therefore our waiter saved a life for at least the first time that day. Sometime before we entered the restaurant, the bf and I said something simultaneously. Despite my state of being, I was able to wheeze out«JINX!» and sure enough, he couldn’t speak any more until someone said his name three times. LOANDBEHOLD, our Denny’s waiter bore the same name as my bf! In desperation throughout the meal, the bf kept trying bizarre tactics and finally pointed maniacally at the waiter’s name tag. The waiter saved another life by blankly saying his own name three times. For a Denny’s, not bad.
