This place was a huge let down. The food wasn’t good and both my son and I got sick about an hour after leaving. We won’t be back.

The service is courteous and the food is good. I usually hate buffets but my 10 year old saw the commercial and nagged me until we came. I must say, I’m glad she did. The prices are reasonable and there is a good variety.

I went for lunch to this fairly new chinese buffet restaurant located on FM1960 very close to I 45. When I walked in I immediately liked the interior as everything looks new and tastefully decorated. There is a nice lighting fixture in the foyer that reminds me of a Vegas casino. Inside the restaurant is large with a lot of seating. The food options here are numerous including sushi and hibachi grill options. The numerous food stations have everything you will be looking for. I understand that on Friday and Saturday they also offer snow crabs for an extra fee. I thought the prices were very reasonable including the extra charge for snow crabs which I took advantage of. Everything I ate was good.(3.5) My table service was also good(3.5). During my stay I visited the men’s restroom and found it to be new and clean inside. Overall, I give my visit a 3.5. The food and service were good and prices very reasonable so for Unilocal purposes I will round up and give this place a 4. If you are in the area, I recommend you try it. It is one of the better chinese buffet restaurants in town.

I’ve eaten twice at this place and I love it! The Mongolian is great, the nigiri sushi isn’t half bad. There’s a variety of food and sauces to try out. I will say, I don’t care that much for the cakes they have, but I love how they have fresh fruit and a chocolate fountain! The service is always great. Our server has always been really friendly. He’s quick in clearing our plates and checks for refills. It’s a little far from our hotel but always worth the trip.

This was my first time here and I can honestly say… I LOVETHISPLACE! This was an impromptu UYE organized by my good friend and fellow Unilocaler, Eddie S. There were 8 adults and 2 children. The children had a table of their own because yours truly has no filter at all. Anyway, the buffet was loaded with a wide selection of food, fruit and dessert. Let’s start with the outside and work our way in… The restaurant is located next to Kroger, so parking is not a problem. I was able to find a spot right in front of the restaurant. As you enter the restaurant, there is seating in the lobby in case you are waiting for your party to arrive. The restaurant is huge, so I don’t believe seating will be a problem no matter how large your party is. For larger parties, you can put the tables together to accommodate everyone. The buffet starts with sushi, which is made fresh. I started here because I wanted to try the«buffet sushi.» I got several different rolls, and to my surprise, they were absolutely delicious. It was no different than sushi at your favorite restaurant. After the sushi, I moved on to the next section, which consisted of shrimp, boiled snow crab legs, and fried blue crabs. Keeping up with my seafood theme, I tried the sautéed spicy shrimp over Singapore noodles, then I hit up the mussels. Although I was full, I kept going… Fried shrimp, General Tso chicken, sautéed green beans, Lo Mein noodles… OMG! This list could go on. Fresh fruit and your choice of various sweet goodies were on the buffet as well. They even have a chocolate fountain for you to dip your marshmallows in! This was by far one of the best buffets I’ve been to. I can’t wait to go back and try a few of the items I missed out on(due to no more room in my belly). You will be doing yourself a favor by visiting this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Hey look what I just did! I gave 5 stars to a buffet! Yeah, that type of place so many people say is beneath them because of this reason or that reason. Yeah, I gave it 5 stars baby! Although I could sum up why in just 2 words, I will instead brighten you with more details. But first I want to introduce to you… pause for effect … the 2 words. Snow Crabs! That should do it right there. Short of a trip to New Orleans or a price over 20 bucks, this spot has em for $ 13 and All-You-Can-Swallow. It’s only on Fridays and Saturdays, but it exist, in Houston, AND they taste very delicious. And with that butter too, ahhh yeah, makes ya wonder if there is a such thing as a tongue condom. Now let me continue; Not only do they rock on crab, but I had the very best peel and eat shrimp I’ve had in Houston. This was the very first Chinese buffet I went to were I failed on the first visit to even eat Chinese food. They have so so many items to try, but I got stuck on the crab and the shrimp. Yet, with only crab and shrimp on the first visit, I’m giving them 5 stars for, I didn’t feel like a number there thus I had decent service, the bathrooms were clean, the buffet itself was clean, the chairs, yes the chairs were nice and comfy.(Nothing like a comfy butt while stuffing your face.) Stuff it and Prosper!

I moved to The Woodlands several months ago and made it my mission to find the best Chinese buffet in a 15 mile radius.(Don’t ask why — it’s the way I am.). I’ve been to 10 or more places between North Houston and South Conroe and I think this is it. Nice selection of sushi on the sushi station and the kimchi and hot and sour soup are excellent. They have a Mongolian bbq station that is run very efficiently. The selection of hot items is impressive, and I have noted from my many visits that they keep the trays filled and fresh. Is the Chinese food great? Not really. But I do think it is well above average for a buffet and probably better than some restaurants I’ve been to. The service overall has been excellent too. The folks that work there have been friendly and efficient with plate removal and refills. Fresh fruit and/or soft serve ice cream(probably ice milk) for dessert. They have a chocolate fountain that I haven’t used, but is popular with kids. Overall, I recommend!

I’m addicted to this place, I know I go about twice a week. Very friendly staff and the food is delicious. I’ve only eaten in once, but get mine to go. The price is determined by the weight [lunch & dinner vary]. I especially love the classic buffet offerings but also the mongolian grill where you can have any protein, veggie etc prepared for you. This is the best part in my opinion.

This plane is great, hot fresh food every time I go for lunch. Sushi is best sushi on a buffet I’ve ever had(and I’ve lived in San Diego and have been to Todai). Great inexpensive lunch options for Asian

This place gets no credit for how nice it looks it has an excellent selection of food and a nice staff and atmosphere the reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because i tried every dish out of the 50+ dish i tried sushi was all great but roughly 20% of the food wasnt great but good overall

This was no different from any other sushi filled with rice the service was very bad the waitress never asked if we wanted refill and she brought the bill after 2 plates of food with the gratuity suggesting what should be given for poor customer service I don’t think so.

Food presentation was very good in the sushi bar as well as the main buffet. I enjoyed my meal, I will eat again in the future here. Fruit was very fresh. The variety had a lot of slection was impressed. Service was nice. I would say for the cost it was worth the visit. I’m eating around 12:30.on a Thursday. For a buffet. It scored a 4.

Went and tried this place last night and I’m lost for words. This place was HORRIBLE and that’s being nice. We both were disgusted, nothing tasted good. I was feeling sick all night. I have never refused to pay for a meal in my life but I paid for the drinks and told the Mgr the food was absolutely disgusting. Never Again.

My boyfriend and I were craving Chinese food and we stopped by and it was the worst mistake ever. We did take out and the food was not fresh at all! You can tell they reused the left over food for the next day. It’s definitely not worth the price.

Hard to find a GOOD Chinese buffet in North Harris County. Wife and I went here at 345pm during lunch special and was told dinner started at 4pm so we would have to pay extra. I explained I don’t eat seafood just the typical American style buffet. SO we compromised with me eating JUST the items that were not labeled«dinner» and wife paid for dinner. Too confusing and not really that good. Wont return

Not very happy with this place. I tried a variety of things, just bits and pieces like I normally in a new buffet. Needless to say I left both plates mostly full. By the way they charge an extra two dollars for leaving a full plate behind.

This is a review for this establishment that is NEW. You really can’t judge a place until it’s been open at least 6 months and you’ve had your third visit but I’ll jump the gun and tell you the experience. Parking is plenty, even though it shares spaces with multitudes of businesses you won’t have a problem… just don’t leave your valuables inside, you’ll see what I mean when you get here. The buffet prices are listed on the wall to the right as you walk in and I believe the average price is around $ 12. Cleanliness is not a problem yet because everything is new and everything works, so far. The buffet items are pretty much the same things that you get at any other buffet. Most honorable mention might be the chocolate fountain like Golden Corral’s and the extra large«Hibachi» type grill that seems larger than most. The selection for this grill seem conservative but you can still get enough. There are 8 food islands in which two of them notably are taken up by the desserts and next to them is the chocolate fountain. You should let your kids loose here and pick them up after you’ve eaten, they won’t want to go far. Service was good, plates picked up within 5 minutes. You get a 10% Unilocal discount when you check in so be sure to remind your server. I’m going to try to remember what was on the buffet even though they are almost the same thing you can get at any Chinese buffet: fried crabs, fried rice, fried chicken, spicy wings, fried bananas, pizza, french fries, crab puffs(actually, they’re square and awkward to eat but still good), hot and sour soup, wonton soup, fish soup(this was actually the worst soup I’ve ever had in my life), fried noodles, crawfish, salmon, white fish, salads, ribs, ice cream cone machine, peppered steak and lots more I can’t recall at the moment. Give this place a try before it wears out its newness.

I’ve resigned myself to the notion that if you want Chinese food in Houston, you’re pretty much forced to a buffet; perhaps that’s why this city is so fat? This place is brand new. Given the area it’s located I didn’t hold much hope, but hungry and bored I decided to give it a shot. It lived up to my expectations; gaudy and cheap in décor, it smelled like a seafood market. The buffet was lackluster at best, with expectedly mediocre, tasteless food. The clientele was a mix of guests of the Maury Povitch show, and recent parolees from prison or so it appeared. The $ 16 price for one person was a bit insulting. I won’t be back.
