Clean place.
Service good.
Food: old, ugly taste. Seemed like if the different plates we ordered, that they were all spoiled. Chicken & meat plates…
Never will I go again, nor would I recommend this place.

It was ok. Smelled bad inside. There was a nasty sewer like smell coming from the back. Idk why but we went bc we had a groupon. $ 12 for $ 20 worth. We ended up still paying like $ 20! We HAD to get drinks they said and we added 2 tacos on, tripe and barbacoa. My husband really liked the tripe taco, it was very crispy and not mushy. My plate was fine, nothing special. I really wanted to try one of the pictures plates that said Jalisco style but they said it took 20 minutes to make it. So I just got beef enchiladas. The place just really didn’t do it for us. Oh and the chips sucked, no flavor and the salsa was ok… In a tiny bowl. Womp womp! Maybe it was hidden for a reason! (I did this review on a different location but same name by accident– this location was the one I visited)

This place used to be good. Not any more it has gone down the drain. I took my family to eat dinner and they brought our plates out at different times. My little boy was the last one to get his meal and that was ten minutes after we all got ours. Then the food was no where near what we ordered. At the end to add insult to injury they give us the bill for 50 dollars, for 2 adults and 2 kids. They already had included the tip the total, like they had given first class service. Last time I ever go to this place.

First off, this is a very clean establishment so yassss! The decorations make you feel like you’re in for a great meal.
Things I enjoyed:
Fast service
Chips and semi spicy salsa that came out immediately
Neatly folded napkins
Incredibly cheap prices (tacos are like less than $ 2)
Great portion sizes
Very quick to fix mistakes
No so great things:
The frozen margaritas are weak
Shrimp gordita had hella shrimp but was lacking «spice and flavor» according to mom
The food was only warm not hot
I really hope that they work to improve because this place has potential.

Lunch to go get the tacos. Green sauce is hot and good.
Dinner was a hot mess. Got the wrong order, more than once. Margarita was so bad that it made my mouth hurt.
Take two seconds and drive yourselves to Los Perez up the road, similar menu but the food and service are a world better.

This place has some of the best Mexican food I’ve had here in Houston. Everything homemade, everything priced great, big portions, and one of the best tres leches that I’ve gotten. Go here and try it. It is definitely worth your time.

This is my favorite Mexican place. Walking in here you feel like you’re in Mexico especially since the windows are super tinted. Anyways they are open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. All their food is real Mexican food and not Tex Mex. I love their quesadillas because they taste like homemade quesadillas. I break my diet for this place and what’s better is that they’re right by my house. Honestly everything is good here from their tacos, enchiladas, etc. You can’t go wrong with this place!

Tasty authentic Mexican food!
I crave their pupusas mixtas. Add some of the pickled cabbage stuff, and its fantastic. Friendly people, too. A nice find for someplace I’ve driven by a thousand times.
