The same food I got but different price each time. The food is inconsistence. To me personally it’s overrated restaurant

One of my favorite lunch spots. This location is the best. Highly recommend the baba ganoush, muhammara, roasted cauliflower and if they have the stuffed cabbage rolls definitely go for it.

It’s been a long time but I want to review this place. We lived in Houston Energy corridor for exactly 2yrs and this is one our fav Mediterranean restaurant near us. A place that can counted for its consistency in taste and abundance…(This review is for veg items and pastries only, we are vegetarian you see). After moving to CA I must say I miss it very much. We a frequented this place many times I would say about once a month yes(24 times in 24 months of our stay in Houston). The items were pretty always fresh & delicious, they have two kinds of pita bread Wheat & regular flour & it is made fresh(well always cooking in the kiln like setting). Never in all my trips to that place I’ve been disappointed in the quality of food, now that is spectacular to me. Our regular order consisted of falafel wrap/vegetarian sampler and semolina cake/Baklava/Tiramisu Or just a side of falafel. NO dish will disappoint you & they are that good. Now I took out a Star mainly for the service, their idea of drive through is poorly executed. It takes forever to get your order and for some reason if you want more than two pita breads they get the look of «deer in the headlights» look so surprised I don’t really get it. The serving staff in the line is always confused speak a bit louder and repeat to be understood(I thought it was just for me but I’ve observed done the same to others). Yes, I would totally recommend this to anyone in the mood for some Mediterranean Goodness. P.S: It is a noisy restaurant and it is great for families…

Went here for lunch today since my usual haunt was closed, and unfortunately it just didn’t compare to Aladdin’s for me. There are certainly some dishes they have that Aladdin’s doesn’t do(and were nice) but at the end of the day Aladdin’s just does it better overall. I definitely recommend the spicy baba ganoush; it was very nice. The seafood salad and stewed green beans are also a definite plus.

This place is amazing! Coming from California, I had never seen this type of concept where you choose your own sides in a buffet-style arrangement instead of a sit-down restaurant. Awesome vegetarian options! The Traditional hummus, tabouleh, and grilled eggplants were my favorites. The only reason I knocked off a star was because, as a newcomer, the ordering process and the menu were very confusing. I still don’t fully understand the pricing of the sides.

this is by far my favorite fadi’s. i’ve visited the meyerland, west chase on westheimer, sugar land, and frisco locations and although they were all similar, this one ranks #1. why do they stand out to me? i always get the following: pita bread, hummus, fried cauliflower, tomato-based entrees and baklava at any fadi’s but these items all taste better than their sister locations here?! and the portions are huge! the difference is slight but noticeable — are the ingredients more fresh? i really don’t know why. i got my family hooked on this location and although they frequent the sugar land one more often, they talk about this one still. i’m sure it’s not just my nostalgia kicking is from this being the 1st fadi’s i’ver ever visited. i’ve moved out to the burbs now and hit up closer locations to home sometimes but never turn down a visit to this location especially at work since i’m so close!

OMG I freaking love this place. Now that I live an 1& ½ hours from Houston and can only pick one restaurant to go to. Guess which one it is. Yeah, Fadi’s is it! I LOVE the Cucumber Salad and Butter Chicken Curry. It used to be a SAD, SAD day when they only would make the curry once or twice a week. The past few times i’ve went in thee it wasn’t even scheduled for that day and they HADIT. OMG! Thank You, Thank You! I am guilty of walking the line and leaving if there is no Chicken Curry though. Although sometimes i’ll stay and get the kabobs. But if I see the curry i’m deff not leaving. This place is fast and good pricing for the quality of food you get. It’s like fast food meats fine dining to me. Here’s a little hint. Ask for some mint tea it’s good too!

Fantastic food, I go there very regular, it’s one of my favorite places here in Houston beside Kesra, manager very professional, Salad bar is always fresh and tastey. One comment: it would be great if you stick to your prices, every time I pay different price for the same kind of food and porches!

The best Lebanese food and when you think that most of it is ready, you’re more impressed. Staff are nice and seating is great! However it’s a bit pricy. Restroom are not that clean either! I’m talking about the one in sugar land high way 6. The best one is in Dairy Ashford and the worst on is in Maryland!

I have been eating here for over 10 years. I used to live close by this location and fell in love with their potatoes and rosemary herbed chicken. The salads are always fresh and delicious, and pita hot and warm . I moved to Austin 8 years ago. However, I come to Houston once a month to shop and mostly eat at Fadis!

Cant tell you the number of times I have drove by this place and always wondered about it. Finally decided to try it out last week and it was really not as great as i expected it to be and here is why: The meat portions were extremely small for what the price tag suggests. My chicken kabob skewers came out looking like a half order. The wait for the grill says 10 – 12 min it really took close to 20 min, and i wast expecting that. Ill give the place this though– the side orders were on point. Really fresh, large selection and looked and stated super appetizing. Over all, the place is over priced and not as authentic as i had imagined. I may have given it an extra star if the meat portions were double what they are.

I’ve been here twice and the food is super ‘meh’ for what you pay. Their meat is tough, dry, and chewy(I’ve had the lamb kabob and beef schwarma). And for 10 dollars for one meat and one side, they give you the tiniest meat portions. The sides aren’t good enough to compensate for the poorly cooked meat. On top of this, the second time around, I got take out and there was a long hair in my beef. I was pretty done with this place after that. And grossed out. I’ve been to the other Fadi’s location and it was much much better. This location is not worth the money.

My default place for lunch. I can easily work their food into my low carb way of eating. I thought about knocking one star off because they serve Pepsi not Coke products(I rarely drink soda, but I much prefer Coke to Pepsi when I do). Also, sometimes there will be a dish that is not quite as good as when I had it in the past, and service can have its rare glitches. But I kept it at 5 stars because no restaurant in Houston offers this much healthy variety for a low carber, and I get it sometimes faster than a fast food order because it is actually an elegant cafeteria. My favorites are fried cauliflower, baba ganoush(the best in the city), butter chicken, gyro plate(no pita), and keshke. When I am a little more flexible about carb-intake, I like the mashed potato ball, broccoli salad, hummus w beef, and cous-cous.

First, I was overcharged for my meal which was AVERAGE at best. I could deal with all of that on a lunch break until they decided to bus my table when I went to get a soda. Half of the restaurant was unoccupied! This is ridiculous! I didn’t even get a chance to finish my average quality food! I don’t even recommend this restaurant to people on death row because they won’t get to finish their last meal!

Went for lunch. I’ve been to a Dallas location before. Fadi’s is a cafeteria style Mediterranean spot that has decent vegetarian options. I ended up having the rice pilaf, spicy hummus, dill rice, cauliflower, eggplant, greenbeans, pasta salad, pita, spinach pie, cheese pie, falafel, and fresh juice. The white pita is much better than the wheat pita and the pita chips. The spinach pie is not very good — I expected it to be cheesy or savory; it was just boiled spinach stuffed into some bread. The warm food was tasty, but the cold food(pasta salad and rice pilaf) was only passable. The falafel is small and fried a bit too much, but still tastes good. I’m falling out of love with hummus, but the spicy hummus was worth noting. The mixed fresh juice was very good and worth getting again.

I have discovered the holy grail of Mediterranean cuisine. I’ve been here on multiple occasions, but I thought it was time to finally introduce middle eastern food to my cute Korean family. Hurray for cultural awareness! :) 2 sides(or 4 half sides. which pretty much seem like 4 whole sides) and a meat entrée for around $ 11. Holy hummus, it’s SOMUCHFOOD for such a good deal! Pretty sure my family of 4 would have been okay with ordering 2 plates instead of 3. My sides — 4 halves: Fadi’s Hummus(5⁄5) — Best hummus I’ve ever had Kale Salad(5⁄5) — One of the best kale salads I’ve ever had Fried Cauliflower(4⁄5) — The only downside would have to be that it was a little oily. It threw me off a bit because it doesn’t taste fried at all! Dirty Rice?(4⁄5) Meat Entrée: Chicken Kabob(5⁄5) — Best chicken kabob ever! I felt so compelled to knock off a star from every review I’ve written regarding chicken kabobs. It was so perfectly cooked; I always get a little scared of chicken being too dry but I should not have worried about that here. To not worry of dried or under-cooked chicken is what I need in my life everyday. I probably ate about 1⁄3 of my plate and felt absolutely destroyed. Everyone in my family was crazy satisfied and got me in trouble for not introducing them to Fadi’s sooner. Hehe. Sadly, I cannot give this place a 5 stars although both the food and service deserves it. There were fruit flies at the booth that would not leave us alone! It was so annoying and I am insanely picky when things aren’t sanitary. Strangely enough, the whole restaurant was so clean and tables were cleaned right after customers left; maybe it was only my booth that seemed to be haunted.

Although the food is okay, they leave their food uncovered and the last two times I have been to this location I have noticed a fruit fly problem. Unfortunately there are many fruit flies throughout the restaurant. My last two trips were at least one month apart so this is an ongoing problem. I know it’s probably difficult to fix the problem, but having 5 or 6 little fruit flies swarming around me while I am eating is quite unpleasant. Unfortunately because this is a serving line set up with a fly infestation problem I am docking them an extra star. This is because the food probably sits out and if the fruit flies are buzzing around me while I am eating my food, I have no doubt they are also getting into the food in the serving line too. I usually tend to be more forgiving about hygenic conditions in hole in the wall restaurants, but that’s because the food is presumably being cooked while I am there so ideally there would be less time for flies to sit in my food and I just try to ignore other possible problems. Basically if I don’t see it, I won’t think about it.

This is definitely one of my «Go-to» places for lunch or dinner. You always receive excellent service and the restaurant is always clean, at least the times I have gone! Now, my dish if choice is chicken shawarma, potatoes, and fattoush salad! The salad is always delicious! There have been times when the chicken in the shawarma is a little dry, but most of the time it’s pretty good! Now if you like hummus, they have excellent hummus! The people and service always get an A+ from me. The food holds on to a solid A-… The only negative is that it can get a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and also not a lot of locations in Houston.(Only two that I know of) if you have not checked it out, I think everyone should give it a shot once and decide for yourself!

I’ll keep this short and sweet. Fadi’s is freaking delicious and legit. A departure from your average«Mediterranean» restaurant bc of the vast array of choices they have. Get what you will knowing the portions are HUGE. So, if your dish comes with two sides, they allow you to «split» sides — meaning you get to taste four things instead of two. Not exercising this option would lead me to question your sanity. One of my go-to meals when I’m in Houston for work and staying near the Galleria.
