The menu was VERY confusing. No detail of what I was getting, and the cashier did a poor job explaining it. Tacos were dry and flavorless.

Tried their chicken, beef, and pork tacos last night at the HEB food truck gathering. Quite possibly the worst tacos I’ve ever eaten. No flavor at all, meat was dry, and just had lettuce and tomatoes. I’ve made better tacos at home.

Tried them at the MFAH on a rainy Saturday. 3 tacos for $ 8 is pushing it for a food-truck price, considering they are competing with more traditional taco trucks. The truck itself has a great design and comes complete with axe, fireman’s jacket, helmet, and boot. But the packaging could not help what were three only mediocre tacos. The chicken: orange(like tandoori chicken) with a greasy feel and way too salty. The taco itself was overstuffed with under-ripe tomatoes and iceberg lettuce. Meh. The beef: again, had a slight greasy texture, far too much salt, and overstuffed with tomato and lettuce. The pork and pineapple: the only redeeming one of the three, although the pineapple was so subtle that I may not have noticed it had I been presented with it blind. We will move on to another truck if given the chance. Bonus: the food comes out very rapidly.

We tried this truck when they were at the Houston Center for Photography. We ordered fajita quesadillas and pork and pineapple tacos. The pork and pineapple tacos were so good! The flavors mixed well together and that’s just it, the flavor. It was super delicious. I could eat 10 of them. The fajita quesadillas were ok. They were super cheesy which was good but the fajita meat did not have mouth watering flavors like the pork meat did. Overall it was just a quesadilla. Nothing special about it so if you like quesadillas then you’ll like this one. They might of had other meat choices for the quesadilla and maybe the flavors were better. I will definitely be looking for them again for those mouth watering pork and pineapple tacos.
