For me, the color turns out ok(I get the pre with clear light) and it looks very natural. My problem is how badly the product dries out my skin and YES i have tried the post spray and I personally feel that it doesn’t help at all. My friend who also goes to Glissin and ALWAYS gets the post, complained to me recently saying how badly dried out her skin is. My other complaint about this location is that the girls there lock up at 9:40p.m. or so, so if you are trying to cut it close and get a spray tan before they officially close at 10:00p.m., forget it, they won’t let you in.

Oh Glissin. I have had my ups and downs with not just this location but the other two near the loop as well. This is the best location I’ve been to though. I’ve recommended so many friends here and everyone says the same thing… The staff is not friendly. My roommate actually canceled her membership due to a rude staff member that wouldn’t let her tan 45 minutes before close. the day before her vacation. even though she called and they said she could tan. Big bummer! Customer service would be my only issue with Glissin. I love the spray tans, cleanliness and I love the price! The young lady who helped me out last week(she had dark hair and gages) was by far the nicest I’ve ever been helped by there!

I had new years and a wedding coming up and decided that I needed some color before these two events. I usually go to another tanning salon for my spray tans, but my roommate had actually recommended this place to me and told me that your first time is free. When I went in, the girl working behind the counter told me that you have to bring in a flyer with the promotion for them to honor it. My roommate had also recommended that I do the pre and post treatments so I got both of those for $ 8 total. Let me preface this experience with the fact that I went to their website and made sure I followed the pre-tan instructions like exfoliating my skin. Since it was my first time to this salon, the girl was really helpful in reviewing all the poses while in the spray booth. This booth I was in is pretty awesome. I think it was the première booth or something to that effect where the nozzles are supposed to be more like an airbrush. It senses your body and sprays accordingly. Also, it does multiple passes rather than just one front and back spray to give you better, more even results. I chose the clear –medium(the one that develops over time) and it was the perfect choice for my skintone. One of the best parts about this spray tan is that I didn’t smell awful afterwards! As it developed a bit later, I started to get some of that ‘spray tan smell’, but it was nothing compared to my past experiences at other salons. I think it might have something to do with the spray itself; they advertise as organic. The experience was really great until I realized that I had committed the biggest spray tan sin… I was in a bit of a hurry I forgot to use the inhibitor lotion on my hands!!! I was terrified that I would turn out orange! I’m not sure if this normally works, but as soon as I stepped out, I immediately wiped off my hands and rinsed them. Once the tan developed my hands were just a little darker than I had hoped but definitely not the orange mess that they have been before from other salons(even using the lotion!). All in all this was probably my best spray tan experience(even with my spray tan faux pas). I received lots of compliments on my tan and had a lot of people ask where I got it. This place was clean and the staff was professional. TIPS: –check out the website and follow the recommendations — USETHEINHIBITORCREAM! — ask and pay attention to the poses, they are different than any other spray tan place I’ve been — do the pre and post treatment, i think it really helped me acheieve a good color — Allow yourself a little more time than if you spray tan elsewhere, this process seemed to take a little bit longer(maybe it was the pre and post treatments)

Took advantage of the«free» first time tan, and purchased the extra pre and post treatments to ward against orange and extend the life of the color. Also used the provided blocking lotion on my hands and feet. Well, I am so orange! The all over color has an orange hue — and I did the lightest color! Maybe the bronzer is bad. I don’t know but I look pretty awful.
