Don’t let the outside fool you. This is a small Chinese restaurant with excellent food. Shrimp fried rice has nice size shrimp not bait size. I go here when I want Chinese food. The price is reasonable for the amount of food u get. Their sweet and sour chicken is not mostly batter. The general tso is really good.

I was a regular customer for Imperial Garden. This place has gotten worse and worse every time I order. I try and go out of my routine order and every time, it’s a huge disappointment. They are stingy as hell with their shrimp. Let’s say you order a large entrée($ 11.00) that supposed to have shrimp and vegetables. What you will receive is FOUR(4) shrimp, counted exact, and a mountain of veggies. When you try and ask for more shrimp, expect to get interrupted and talked over whether you’re a rude or patient customer and they will tell you they have a placed policy of 4 shrimp in any dish you order. In a LARGE entrée? Really? And when you complain, they simply tell you to f*ck off. Order at your own risk. Expect poor service and low satisfaction.

If I could leave NO stars I would. Where do I begin … I stopped eating here along time ago because service and food were not up to par, particularly the service. However I unfortunately had a run in with a driver named Robert who drives a silver FIT, I believe it’s a Honda. As I’m driving down Walter’s Rd towards Rankin this maniac cut into my lane without using a signal or with enough space so I had to brake in the rain with my 2 kids. If that was all I’d just call it an accident or carelessness but he then proceeding to cut me off again as I tried to pass and then brake checked me as if I did something. He then sped off and turned into Stelle claughton middle school. So they told me who he was and I called his manager. They didn’t seem to care even told me if I wanted to know anything about him I need to come up there and must be ALONE to do so… I think not, his driver almost killed me and they want me to come up there alone? I offered to come with police. He said his lawyer said come get the info alone. I have a 90 lb service dog that will accompany me before I dare go alone. Anyhoo, stay clear of this place if only to keep our streets safe, food is below average anyway wok n roll is across the street and they’re pretty awesome and no drivers that will risk people lives to make a delivery.

You can eat here at our own risk. My coworker and I used to eat lunch here regularly. The food was priced right, and wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great either, but it was worth the $. With that being said I will never go back to Imperial Garden again. I had to stop ordering any of the chicken lunch specials because the chicken had a freezer burn taste to it, so I started ordering the shrimp lunch special, which brings me to why I am writing this review. The shrimp also had that left to long in the freezer taste, and I did not get the soup that is supposed to come with the special. Overall, I would say the price is cheap, but you do get what you pay for, and there are way too many alternatives in this area to have to settle.

Received a delivery order earlier today, arrived right on the minute. Took about 40 mins after I ordered via the app they are hosted on. I ordered the orange chicken with wonton soup, crab puffs, and egg rolls. The orange chicken was labeled spicy but it was mild in my opinion. It was white chicken and the breading ratio was great but I’ve had better. I wish the app had a steamed rice option because I received«fried» rice which may be their default. The rice was by far stale and horrible, there was no resemblance to fried rice. It was old white rice they doused in soy sauce and warmed up with a little water in a hot pan. The egg roll was mediocre, fried okay but no real flavor so the sweet and sour sauce was a must to continue eating. On to the wonton soup, the wonton was not cooked thoroughly and was very slimy. This made me very hesitant to actually try the meat inside. I tried a bite and it was eh forgettable. Hope that wasn’t a mistake. Now on to the crab puff, no crab just cream cheese and onions. They should have placed them in the paper bag the egg rolls came in instead of the styrofoam box because the steam ruined the crunchiness of the puff. I will pass on this place and continue my search for a great Chinese American takeout place. Taipei Bistro if you are out there please come back to us!

I’ve never actually been to Imperial Garden but I order their delivery all the time. Their soups are excellent. I always order an extra Egg Drop or Hot & Sour soup for the next day. My favorite dishes are Jalapeño Chicken, Hunan Chicken, Curry Chicken an Hot Chicken w/Garlic Sauce. The Lo Mein and Fried Rice is also good. Only dish I haven’t cared for is the Mongolian Beef. Finally, the delivery is always prompt and usually quicker than what they tell you.

We order delivery from them all the time. They are quick and their food is pretty good and comes in nice sized portions. The people that answer the phone(owners maybe?) are extremely helpful, kind and patient. Our favorite dish is the Kung Pao chicken, and although I TRY to stay away from eating pork(I feel bad for the piggies) :(, they have a BBQ Pork appetizer which is SO good I have indulged twice. Their menu is pretty /quite extensive and includes a lot of specialty dishes too. Their iced tea always tastes like it was freshly brewed and unlike other delivery places, when I ask for«enough sweetener for the large Iced Tea», they don’t just drop two in the bag :). They have free delivery within a 5-mile radius and the drivers are very nice as well. Definitely recommend.

Like I’ve mentioned in my previous post, we decided to keep the dining relationship with Imperial Garden to a «Delivery» type of deal. I must say, it seems to be working better for us! We ordered from IG the other night and before we looked up they were at the door. I order online with IG most of the time and it’s fast and convenient for us. My Darling Husband loves their Pepper Steak, Sautéed Broccoli, and the Hunan Rice. We stick to that order most of the time we order, it never fails to be very good Chinese food. I love the fact that after you spend a certain amount you get a free item like an egg roll or soup… Can’t turn down the soup! Imperial Garden is our go to spot for quick/carry out Chinese Food. And, I’m Out…

This is our go-to Chinese restaurant. The Hunan fried rice is incredible — great spiciness, and usually with good-sized shrimp. Our usual is the beef and broccoli which is always tender and flavorful, and the General Tso’s chicken, which is also great. They’re always nice, food is always ready quickly and on-time, and I can’t remember them ever getting my order wrong. Can’t recommend enough.

My family and I go here all the time! We’re basically friends with the owner Wendy lol. Well when we visit we always order the spicy beef noodle soup. It’s amazing… so so amazing. It’s this beef broth that originally doesn’t serve spicy but if you like spicy things definitely ask for the spicy beef noodle soup. I absolutely recommend this place.

The best for what it is. Cheap Chinese delivery for when you are drunk at night and don’t feel like cooking, or hungover on Saturday/Sunday and do not feel like moving off of the couch.

Placed order online. I made a mistake and called them and they fixed it for me right away. Food was ready when I got there and piping hot when I got it home. Will order again

Their salted chicken and shrimp fried rice is SOOOOOO good omg. The beef curry is greatly paired with it! They do deliver a lot. I think that’s where most of their business comes from. Parking is good. You won’t have to worry about that. The lady that works there is a short Asian lady with a short hairdo. She is really sweet and somewhat chatty. But it’s cute though. I was told its best to give tips in cash due to that its not shared properly with your waiter.

This place has really good Chinese, I loved the food that we got last night. Chicken wings and what was supposed to be pork fried rice. The Pork fried rice, I loved it but it wasn’t pork it was beef, my husband was very mad over that, as for I it is a little upsetting but I love the beef also.

I craved this Chinese food two years ago when i was pregnant with my son Keelan. I moved across town but now I’m back up here and I HAD to go get the general tso chicken. It is delicious. They use white meat and the difference in quality is so apparent. I am from DC by way of New York and the bar is pretty high on Chinese take out. This place is in the top 5 places I’ve ever been. No matter where you live in town, Imperial Dragon is worth the drive. You can dine in and take your leftovers home. I am so glad I reconnected with this place. I called in my order and it was ready for pick up in ten minutes so it’s awesome for lunch or dinner.

The first and ONLY time I will be ordering from this place. The food is dry, and tastes NOTHING like what real food should taste like. I got the Mongolian beef, and it has celery and carrots, and doesn’t taste like ANY other Mongolian beef I’ve ever had before… It’s not appetizing at all. My boyfriend got the Lemon Chicken, and it was dry, tasted like onions, and there was no lemon in the lemon sauce… VERYDISAPPOINTING!!!
