Jack In the Box

I know I know… I’m reviewing a fast food joint. Not usually my go to when I’m travelling. However when I drove past Jack in the Box while driving to my hotel, nostalgia swept over me. When I was a teenager, me and my friends would go to Jack in the Box late at night after hanging out at the pool hall and scarf down sourdough jack’s, curly fries, and Oreo milkshakes like we hadn’t eaten all day. I have never seen Jack in the Box anywhere else except where I grew up in Washington State. I nearly squealed when I saw this one and just had to make a stop for an ol’ time favorite. Plus, I was hungry! I ordered a medium sourdough jack meal but did not go with the Oreo shake. The drive thru experience was fine and getting my meal and paying for it was smooth, fast, and efficient. It was the quality of the food that made me go, eeeek! My burger patty looked dry and stale, tasted pretty funny… I’m not going to lie. The seasoned curly fries also tasted like they had been under the heater for a good bit. I was really disappointed and didn’t finish my meal because I was afraid it was going to cause me some trouble GI wise later on.

To average consumer: before I became a vegetarian: totally eat the ultimate cheeseburger 5 out of 5 stars: the egg rolls are great! And the breakfast croissant omg DELISH! But I am not saying to definitely buy those, because of the harm of poor innocent animals that go through pain from birth to death… On a higher note it was good. Haha sorry !
To jack in the box: I came here late night like 2am when you would expect all the drunks to be out and ordering fast food, with that you would expect people whom work these shifts to be a little tired, or have little patience with customers, but I was definitely proved wrong, by amazing service at this time of night!!!
I am a vegetarian, and I was looking for something other than the salad that didn’t have meat, and they said there wasn’t much, but Michelle was really helpful in telling me that I can choose most things that may have meat and they could accommodate me, wow ! Too cool, usually it is always a problem if I were to ask that anywhere, again, being this time of night or anytime for that matter but I like to late night munch so McDonald’s-attitude – Taco Bell – attitude but Jack in the Box — I will definitely be back and bring my girls for late night fast food because of Michelle, that is service right there! I am picky but the food service industry is horrible right now, but she went above and beyond. 5 stars to Michelle !!! Whoooo Hoooooo! Raise for her !

Drive through took very very long for a very few cars, only visit if u have all night to wait. Food not good as well. Forced to go cuz I live nearby.

Decided to drop in late night for a quick meal (buttery jack with mushroom combo), before turning in for the night. Had three cars ahead if me, but had little time to wait (7 minutes). Staff was friendly and moved the line well. When I placed and paid for order it took roughly 3 minutes for me to receive my order. The food was hot, but not very tasty. Good service though.

The first thing I noticed coming to this location is that the drive thru gets very busy. I think it took 10 minutes for me to get to the box to order my food. The person who took my order immediately asked if I wanted to try their new Blazin’ Chicken Sandwich which I ended up ordering because I initially wanted to try it. I also got the Bacon & Swiss Buttery Jack.
I’ve had better things from Jack in a Box. I most wouldn’t order these sandwiches again. The Blazin’ Chicken wasn’t spicy at all despite the claim that it has the «ghost pepper sauce.» The cheese on the Bacon & Swiss was dry and only partially melted. I’m aware that it’s fast food and you can’t be too picky but I would still like to enjoy my meal and get my money’s worth.

Come here every night after the bar. These people get my needs. And really take the time to listen and understand

Took way too long. Ordered coffee and have been waiting 10 min. Waited 10 min to get food in first place. This place sucks. I am never ever going to visit a Jack In The Box.

Burger: The Bacon Insider or Sourdough Jack
First, it’s fast food. Get over the fact that it’s not the most amazing service.
Second, at the drive thru there’s a lot of street noise from San Phillipe and the feeder road. Confirm the order and check it before you drive away.
Third, it’s a chain. Don’t expect innovative or unique offerings, just solid filling food.
Finally, the food has been consistently good. With an occasionally amazing item. I’m hooked on the bacon insider. The coffee is usually decent too. The staff have always been polite to me, and try to get it right. It’s usually right (which means it’s sometimes not perfect). I’ve only gone to the drive thru and have never been inside. LOL.
Part of my diet is the long line of cars at the drive thru during lunch hour. I sometimes run out of time and give up. I’m a fan of this place because it’s reasonably priced, good filling food and conveniently located.

Decent for fast food. Good staff, clean. Only decent parking in this part of town.

Order wrong, cold, old greasy food… what am I paying $ 12 for again?

When I pulled up to the drive-​thru, I was so excited. I’m so glad that Jack In The Box has mini corn dogs, waffle breakfast sandwich, $ 1 large drinks on the menu, now. However, my cousin ordered a chicken fajita pita after six years of being voided of Jack In The Box. It was so small, dude! What a rip off! Yes, you may think giving it two stars is like killing the Nittany Lions football program for 4 years, but how can I possibly give it an A-​OK rating? The gentleman who was working on the drive-​thru funny, though.
