This is a go-to favorite in my office for take out. We order lunch from here all the time. My personal favorite is the Avocado BLT. It is consistently delicious. Recognize this is a little mom and pop though. The updated booths are nice and everything is relatively clean.

Stopped by after working night shift, and got the egg sausage muffin melt. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it and how filling it was, this will definitely become a go to stop for me after work. I will definitely be back to try the lunch menu later.

1. Very good customer service, orders togo, eat in, catering are all good! Best thing is the daily lunch specials and thay are always great. I cannot say which I like best becasue they are all really good! Breakfast is good too, but for me they open too later, I am at 6am guy for work, and they open at 7am. The place has lots of seating and even a partty/meeting room that is open to all depending on if they have a group using that room or not. The daily special menu is always online before 11am.

5+ stars! I have been going to Kojaks for 7 years and the food is always fresh and delicious, –and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I have also had lunch catered for meetings and the service is excellent. At the restaurant, I always see Mark, the owner, working side by side with the staff to make sure customers have an enjoyable experience. Very good neighborhood restaurant.

Some of these Unilocalers are slightly DRAMATIC(Referring to you, Mr. Bacon Feta Spinach Taco)… I have become a regular at this restaurant. Well, fairly new too. what everyone should understand is that this establishment is one of the best in the area… The Produce is FRESH, HOMEMADE, ANDHEALTH-FRIENDLY…Their tacos are delicious…(despite the increase in price. bummer)…Chicken Marsala is just tender, yummy, and light… PASTAS…filling…however, I do wish the Po Boys were of those from a Lousiana Kitchen… thick bread… packed with meat… sauce…fillings…Overall, good quality… I MISSTHESTICKYBUNS! BRINGTHOSEBACKKOJAKS!

We come here because Kojak’s comes close to making a po boy sandwich as good as Antones. Lately though they have missed the mark. Their bread is good. What they need to is go to Antones and buy some chow chow, refrain from putting butter on the bread, and slice their cheese thinner.

OUSTANDING on every level! As a fella restaurant owner myself I am picky when it comes to giving a 5 star no doubt but this place hands down deserves it! Met the owner who is extremely nice and hands on, the place was clean and the food epic. We will be back!

I love Kojak’s. Their breakfast tacos are a staple for my co-workers and me. The Gyros are decent. The burgers are pretty good. Their take on the Reuben is probably my favorite thing on their menu. Daniel, the cashier/server, is a delight. He does everything he can to make sure the customers walk away happy.

I ordered a Tuna melt along with fries. I wasn’t expecting potato wedges though but they were cooked to my liking. Not too soggy with oil but not too crispy either. The tuna melt was alright but thought it could’ve used another slice of cheese. I’ll probably be back just to try out the Chicken Parmesan. A good place to grab a quick lunch during work for sure.

Uninspired execution of a deli/café in an area of town severely lacking of one. They’re trying to do a lot with their menu and none of it with much flavor. Needs to become something, anything. Convenient and quick but only slightly preferred to the subway down the street. Missed opportunity that fortunately still exists and awaits an owner with vision.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside and it’s not exactly a date place but awesome for a quick bite to eat. Some of the complaints that seem to go with this place is that they have so much variety. I mean, how often are you going to find a place that serves a burger, fries, potato salad, and falafel? That’s just a small handful of items on there with many random inclusions. Overall, the food is still pretty good. I won’t say it’s the greatest I’ve ever had, but what you are paying, it’s a huge step above fast food, it’s usually fairly quick in terms of service, and the food is good. I’d recommend the falafel. Again, not the best thing I’ve ever had, but it’s still quite good. For once, I’d recommend going non-fries. Their fries are similar to wedges, thick, but not much to it and also, you won’t be getting the super-sized five-hundred fries like McDonalds or Niko Niko’s. Regardless, try the potato salad or one of the other side items. There is zero atmosphere here, fair warning. Come here for the food and for a quick lunch with your co-workers or pals. There is a TV that is usually showing sports. Also, a negative is they shut down early and don’t even make it past 6:00pm. Check it out. It might not be a win for you, but compared to the other options around in the Heights, this is a win, and the food is good enough for more than one visit. Service is friendly. Parking is super easy.

I am a foodie who continues to find the best food in the weirdest spots. Star number one: This is one of those spots you don’t get a fancy atmosphere(very neighborhoodish) simple. Star number two: The people who work here aren’t pretentious. Star number 3CLEAN. Star number 4 Everything and again I say everything I have eatn here is amazing they have amazing meatloaf and out of this world ham quiche beverages galore deserts galore and the price is nice… My 4 and most important star of all is what alot of these high end want to be Restraunts lack and that is Consistency what more can a foodie ask for. Until next time signing out Jay… O yeah and the only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because I always leave here wishing I could of had one of the other wonderful selections and about 10 deserts lol jk. I always feel like my brain has a fight as I wait to order my food a sort of confusion then I get to the counter to order and I just order what came to mind first

Average food served with average service in an average setting. Kind of a bland place. The place seems to be confused with itself.

I love this place I’ve been coming here since it opened. Everything’s fresh & Mark the owner is awesome. Their daily lunch specials are the best. I highly recommended the Parmesan crusted chicken & the brownies.

I have been to Kojaks for lunch several times and I am a big fan. The menu changes daily with some repeats. When I first dined here I had the quiche and salad combo and have never looked back. Thankfully my lunch dates get something different so I can try other items! They all love the quiche(We’ve had a veggie mix, ham and cheese, spinach and mushroom) too and we end up sharing entrees. We’ve shared the salad trio, gyro, and the Parmesan crusted chicken. All have been great with a couple exceptions: The chicken was a little dry and something was off with the ham and cheese quiche. I would try both again, though! Also its important to note that it is BYOB with a cork fee, however during dinner you get a free app or dessert. If you’ve read any of my reviews you know I love BYOB. Speaking of dessert I’ve had chocolate cookies, baklava, and brownies. SO good. One thing I have to mention is there menu is a little confusing the first timers. They have it written on the wall, on a sheet of paper, and they have some at the counter. Its also all of the place from gyros, to meatloaf, to my fav quiches. They also have a little deli corner with an assortment of drinks(decently priced) as well as a dessert case, so it lives up the deli part of the name. I have yet to come here at true dinner time(I’ve had really late lunches or «linner» with wine, though!). I know that the times we’ve thought about it they seem to be closing(after 7pm) and I’ve seen different times listed for their hours. One of these days will we try it at dinner time!

You been to a place where you weren’t really sure what they were known for serving? This is just one of those places. It’s in a strip center and seems to have been here for a long time and was decently crowded so they are doing something right. And that something just might be price and location. It’s a bit confusing, they have a menu on the wall, the have printed daily specials, and a separate burger/sandwich menu in print format at the register. You order at the front and get a buzzer to come pick up your food. I was lucky and got the Mama’s meatloaf which was the special for the day. The meatloaf itself was pretty good and a big serving. The mashed potatoes were solid too, the veggies seemed like reheated canned/frozen. My friend had the gyro sandwich and it was awful. The fries were not that outstanding either. Their sweet tea was not sweet at all, but they do serve Katz coffee/tea. I wouldn’t come back, and from Unilocal reviews the food is all over the place too. I guess over time you find that one dish that keeps bringing you back, to me it’s not worth a 2nd try. They do offer FREE wifi and there is a back room that seems to have more business people sitting there for extended periods of time doing work.

It’s a very low key restaurant with friendly owner and staff. I used a discount and we had some pretty good steak. We liked that it’s BYOB. They had pretty good dessert as well.

I happened upon Kojak’s as a I was taking a new way home from work and decided to just drop in. I sat in the parking lot reading Unilocal reviews to determine what to order. I settled on the Parmesan Crusted Chicken which was really good. The chicken was moist, my two side items of mashed potatoes and mac & cheese were warm and they tasted homemade. My only complaint was that there was only a bit of cheese on top of the chicken, and no sauce to speak of, so it seemed a little dry to get through. Having the sides helped. At a price of $ 10.99, it was all in all a great meal, and a real plus that it’s so close to home.

Had the privilege to try Kojak’s this morning for breakfast and I was promptly greeted, served quickly and the food was great. You’ll hear no complaints out of me about Kojak’s because it was clear and was a great overall experience. Not only will I be returning to Kojak’s but I am anxious to test them for lunch since I tried breakfast this time around. The owner and managers here need to know that they are doing it right because not only was my meal great but the storefront and restaurant were clean and the employees were all very friendly.

Located in a strip mall, this restaurant is really nothing special and I wouldn’t go back. There is plenty of parking(because the place is empty). The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean and large. But, why do you go to a restaurant? For the food. Well, the grilled chicken club was lacking in flavor. The chicken was rectangular chunks of flavorless protein. I ate the sandwich because I was hungry and it provided protein and food that I needed, but I certainly didn’t ‘enjoy’ it. My husband had the chicken Parmesan. The dish had no marinara sauce on it. Isn’t that kind of standard. As you can see from my photo, it’s a breaded cutlet of chicken accompanied by some mediocre veggies. The chicken was lacking the marinara, but it also had a measly tiny bit of cheese on it. It was really quite sad. Also, if you are eating in or taking it to go, all drinks are in styrofoam cups. If they serve food on ceramic dishes, they must be able to wash glasses to. It’s lazy and a waste to have disposable cups. Don’t waste your time here, there are plenty of decent places in the area.
