Los Gemelos Taqueria

This place is awesome! If you’re in the mood for tacos you need to try their pork in the green chile sauce. We also tried their flautas and they were super delicious!!! Their sopes are huge! The aguas frescas here are amazing! I can honestly say their lemonade and the jamaica are homemade and AWESOME! I want to come back and try their breakfast. We’re definitely going to be regular’s at this place!

This place used to be called Los Compas. They changed their name but the same owners are still operating. It must have been a legal thing or something. Anyways, I go here at least once a week. One of the main reasons is because of convenience. It’s close to home and I can usually call in and my order will be waiting for me within 5 minutes. That’s quicker than a fast food joint.
They have all the usual selections that any other taqueriar offers, such as Tortas, tacos, burritos, gorditas and much more. I can usually count on good food when I go here. I always order a torta or tacos de fajita I never get any other meat on my orders besides fajita so I’m not sure how the other meats taste.

This place was just down the street from Dekaney High School in Houston Texas (Close to or in Spring, Tx, I am not sure). I have seen review for this place as Cemelos, but that is not what the card said.
Three of us went here for lunch to enjoy some good old Tex/​Mex cooking. What we got was real authentic and FRESH Mexican food. I had the Chili Relleno and it was amazing. The Relleno took 20 minutes to get to us because they did the whole process made to order. The chili was cut open, stuffed with cheese, battered, fried, and then put on a plate of fresh arroz and beans. The only thing that was not fresh was the tortillas, but they did not ruin the meal.
The orange sauce really stole the show for me as I lathered my Relleno with the spicy concoction.
On this day, the soda machine was broken, and no chips nor salsa were served prior to our meal. If both had been working, I am not sure my experience would have been any better for it. Today, it was all about the food, and the food, and service were spectacular. Make sure you MAKE THE TIME, to go and enjoy authentic cuisine from Los Gemelos Taqueria!
