This place is consistently good if the closest I can get to California Mexican food because everything in Texas its Tex-Mex. I got the fajita combo and a mango Margarita. Everything was good my food was fresh and good. I truly felt that the margarita was lacking it needed more alcohol. And it was very cold giving it a storm brewing outside and it was still super cold made me someone uncomfortable I always been a person more about the food and less about the surroundings, so I will not knock points for being cold but for my margarita being light I will .If they do better job at the temperature and it give me more alcohol and my margarita I would go there all the time. Another, is the parking lot it needs to be fixed. They have a lot of holes in the parking lot. Otherwise everything was fine if they get those things fixed and maybe play some more current Latin music this could really be a cool weekend spot because I have it dance floor and. karaōke. I will eat here again.

This is our favorite spot to come on Sunday’s for breakfast/brunch. The service is usually really good. We love the chilequiles with green sauce. Yummo! The taquitos are worth ordering as well. Many items have been tried and are good.

The food was hot and fresh and arrived to our table in a reasonable time. However, the waitress and her service was a joke. She came to our table the first time to take our drinks and our orders. She later returned to drop the bill off. I had to go to the host desk and collect my own napkins. If you decide to go to this Arandas, please avoid from having Dulce as your waitress.

I have always gotten really good, hot, food when I come here. As well as timely and attentive service! It looks like the bar etc would be a good place to hang late night and I’ve heard the margaritas do not skimp :)

I went there today and just SAT there and looked at my food. But took one bite into the shredded chicken green enchiladas and it tasted like dog food are more like deviled ham. There was no green sauce on the enchiladas at all I had to ask for the tomatillo sauce. I swear that was not chicken. The waitress kept walking by looking at me making eye contact with me and never came over to ask if I needed anything. Another waitress ended up waiting on me. I never complained about the enchiladas at all or anything else for that matter. So she never had a reason to not come check on me. The food here has changed 100% since I was there a year and a half ago. I will not be going back and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Was on the road on Christmas Eve and stopped here. I am all for businesses closing for the holidays so that employees can be with their families. So I went to the door and saw that they were open until 4:00pm. I unloaded the family and walked through the unlocked door at 3:02. We were told that they were closed for the holiday. I have no patience for nonsense like this.

While my husband and I are visiting the Houston area for a few days we’ve turned to The Unilocal to find the local dives. We needed something open a little later and this spot was perfect. The service was prompt in all ways, refills, the chips and salsa(by the way the jalapeño sauce is amazing) and the meal itself. They also let me make substitutes to my order. I highly recommend the Hawaiian Tacos. They were wonderful while my husband ordered the sampler(mine was better). The only drawback was the attached bar was very loud making it difficult to talk with each other including the servers. But yummy food and service.

Food was good. Green salsa seemed like it has gone bad as well as the regular salsa. I told my server that it wasn’t fresh compared to the other taqueria arandas’. She asked which one was the other location and I told her the one off of 290 and she said all taqueria arandas’ are different. I thought to myself then why’d you ask me which location?

This is my 2nd time here. Waitress is being rude. Order did not come out correct. I will say their green sauce is very good. Spicy but good

At a Glance Food: 2 – 3 Service: 3 Convenience: 3 Value: 3 Bottom Line: 2.5−3 Food was ok/average. Would I come here again? Probably not. There are other options I could try around town. . . The Boring Details Food: They start you off with a nice tray of chips and salsa. The main salsa was good. The squeeze-bottle salsa was good but likely had habanero because it was hot and not as flavorful as a jalapeño or chile. I had the cheese enchilada plate. With the green sauce at the suggestion of the waitress. Which in retrospect was not the best choice considering tomatillo based things are not exactly my fave flavor. What I thought was cool was the layer of cheese beneath my beans and rice. Not sure if that was on purpose but it was a nice touch. I finished it off with the arroz con leche. Which I would not recommend. It was a little runny and the rice was a little too firm for my taste. Service: The girl who served me was nice but not friendly. Water and chips were refilled at the right times. Convenience: Walking distance of the hotel I stayed in. I got to watch the soccer game while I was there. And if I wanted to dance after dinner the bar was in a separate room with the latest hits bumping. Value: OK. If my company wasn’t paying for this I would consider this slightly below average in value. The only reason I stopped in was because the place I really wanted to eat at just around the corner was closed. And I had already walked from my hotel in the sauna that is called Houston. I had seen the same restaurant all around TX so I figured it must be decent. Poor logic I know. There was some good artwork on the walls.

Micheladas were okay, the little tacos were good. I must have gone there when the creepy bar guy was there cause I couldn’t even enjoy my food cause I’m pretty sure his eyes were going to pop out of his head. I know I could have stayed longer if I wasn’t so uncomfortable. I really like their green sauce though.

First time here at this location. Honestly I was a little hesitant since it didn’t have many reviews. I was very pleased with the service. Everyone told us good morning and sat us right away. The location was very clean and our food came out quick. Our server was attentive. Red salsa was a bit salty but not bad at all. I will come back for sure.

I had the shishkabobs. EXCELLENT choice. But the homemade green sauce was the best part of the dinner.

Terrible. Tonight, my wife, myself, and our three children — one disabled — came to eat around 7:30. I was really looking forward to having a torta, and $ 4 for a kids meal seemed like a good deal. I’d like to talk about how the food was, but I don’t really know. We left at 8:30 without ever receiving the food we ordered. Every other table came in after us and was eating. At least they were generous with the chips, but if I want tortilla chips for dinner, I will buy them at HEB. The worst part was where they brought around a tray for desserts and I initially thought it was complimentary for the slow food, but it was really their way to upsell the desserts and I had to tell my 6 year-old son he couldn’t have any. We are never coming to any of these again.

Their food was pretty good, but I am only giving them 3 stars because of their soup and service. So we ordered a beef fajita dish and also a bowl of vegetable soup. So our fajitas came out on the hot sizzling platter and might i add that it was really good. However our bowl of soup was served cold!!! We had to ask our waitress to reheat it! How can you serve customers cold soup, it is meant to be hot! Another thing I have to complain about is their service!!! We paid with credit card and the waitress literally waited at our table and watched us tip them. This really made me upset, waitresses need to learn how to not be vultures on their tip money! I understand that tips are important, but watching customers tip you is very awkward!

Great lil spot, this is my first time here. We were on our way to Taco Cabana but they were closed. My friend said let’s go to have some REAL Mexican food. So we are here and I will definitely be back!

Of all their location, I like this one best. The food is great for the price. My favorite is the enchiladas. I also love the whole fried fish. It’s whole so it has the head. It doesn’t bother me but if it bothers you, you’ve been warned. He was delicious though. Love the rice and beans. The charro beans are pretty darn tasty. The atmosphere is a little dumpy, but as long as the food is good, I can cope.
