Hanging in magnolia park with my boyfriend and we went to grab some dinner! I must say this food was delicious and the service we got was great! At least my order of chicken enchiladas was great, the chicken was all white meat and I didn’t find any bones… like I have at Ninfas… Now the queso tastes kinda like the nacho cheese you get at Sam’s for cheapass nachos that you get at say a public pool’s concession stand! lol I would like to go back again and try other items for sure!

Good food. The fajitas may not impress as they are not the best I’ve had but they are good. Just get the regular ones and avoid the ones with the special Mambo salsa(those are spicy and kind of turns the meat into stewed). The prices here make up for whatever the food may lack as they are lower than most establishments. The décor is nice and has an ice house feel to it, but it is family friendly. When the weather outside is nice, they probably will«roll up» the walls so everyone could have fresh air. They make fresh tortillas as you can tell when you walk into the restaurant and there are big flour bags by the counter as they are continuously making them. The chips are good as well. The area is in the Eastside part of Houston which is for some reason an infamous Mexican barrio. But once you get here you can see that this area actually has its own appeal. There’s a Ritmo Latino music store nearby and that is a neat place to visit before or after the meal. As for the food, if you like tilapia, this place has a great plate of tilapia for $ 5 or $ 6. It is worth it. Hours: 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays; 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays Prices: starters $ 2.49−6.50; entrees $ 5.95-$ 10.95(most $ 7-$ 8); grilled items by the pound $ 7.49-$ 18.95
