This place is sooo good! I’m from El Paso and I am so picky when it comes to Mexican food. In fact I only eat it when I go back to visit home. I have yet to try their enchiladas(which is like the final test for me to determine whether or not a restaurant is legit) but wow, everything here is tasty and I feel like as if I am in my grandmother’s kitchen! The avocado is fresh(very important) and the green chili sauce they give you is fantastic! They serve you warm salsa which is spicy and authentic. I had the combo plate with chicken fajita and the corn quesadilla was superb! Truly homemade. Oh and I didn’t get that annoying cotton mouth that you get after eating a really salty meal(like Chinese food with a lot of MSG in it) — Unfortunately that has been the case for other restaurants I’ve been to here in town. Hidden little gem for sure and I will most definitely be back to try their enchiladas. To be continued…

I use to come here all the time. Especially on the weekends for the menudo and pozole! They had some of the best in the hood and the portion size was great for the price. Their other dishes were fine too. Nothing amazing just good. The last few times that I have been here, the quality of their food has been horrible. But after my last experience I will not be returning… I ordered 3 menudos to-go and when I got home not only was the cup less full but there were huge bones in each of the cups. I guess to «feel more full» not only that the onion and cilantro for garnish were spoiled. No thank you! Keep your fraudulent goods. I really don’t understand how it has some decent reviews but oh well. Take the risk if you want.

Amazing AUTHENTIC Mexican food! There are a few cons: –Their live music they have occasionally is a bit too loud for my taste. –the restrooms smell funny. –the last time we were there cashier initially refused to split our checks, she said they don’t do that on the weekends anymore However, I still have to give them 5 stars because you just can’t beat their prices and flavor. My favorites are tacos al pastor and fajita gorditas.

One of my favorite places for delicious Mexican food! Plenty of food for the price and service is fast. My personal favorite is the Parrilladas, one of the pricier items but oh so tasty. Occasionally they have mariachi bands come in and perform and they have a jukebox so it can get a little loud. It’s also a bit hard to find but if you’re craving some Mexican food, definitely give this place a try!

Best Mexican food in the east end! I’ve been here 3 times now and I can say I will definitely come back. This is not your normal texmex so be aware that what you order is authentic! Come around lunch time for free qeusso!

My most favorite taqueria, I eat very often with my parents here. THEYLOVETHISTAQUERIA& so do I. I basically grew up eating in the taqueria it’s the best. Love their Gorditas & their Fried Shrimp. They have free wifi which is great, just make sure to pay attention the have the wifi password at the very entrance. Totally recommend eating here.

Worst food I have ever had. Ordered the carne guisada and it was beef tips in chicken broth. It tasted horrible.

I’ve been back several times since my last review — and been very satisfied with the food and service. Today there were musicians playing the guitar & accordion — nice(although loud) addition to the atmosphere. Only wish chicken fajita tacos were«sin gristle.»

I can’t believe nobody has reviewed this place yet! Phenomenal Mexican food in the heart of the East End. They even have a drive through that stays upon extremely late(4am?)… very fast for not being fast food. Go eat here if you want authentic Mexican food!

My husband brought me to this little out the way place because I was dying for some Milanesa. No one makes it better than my mother-in-law(in my opinion) but I have to say that they did a great job! I was really impressed. So much so that I ordered my other guilty pressure… Pozolé…needless to say I could not finishe both, but am more than happy to carry-out. The refreshing lemonado was so good. For feeding my husband & daughter the price was reasonable & the portions were more than enough. I do recommend this little diamond in the rough… oh my husband order the bowl of menudo & loved it & my daughter got the nachos… I will say that the guy never asked if we wanted more to drink, but he was still some what attentive. somewhat…lol

The tortas are very good here, most of the time, try not to get food near closing time, or they will short change you on the meat filling. The service is very inconsistent, specially late on the weekends, when the wait-staff makes it painfully obvious they are trying to close. The juke box is very loud, and in competition with the television on the wall. The usual cashier seems to be on the rude side, court and rarely making eye contact. Avoid on Sundays, they have some annoying Karaōke singer that will harm your digestion. Still, a good place, if only for takeout.

Move over El Rey. I have found a torta that knocks yours out of first place in my heart(and stomach). Searching for a non-existent bank in the area, we stumbled up this taqueria. Got a few amazing homemade tacos, a beef fajita torta and two drinks all for about $ 15. The food and tortillas were homemade and fresh. I will be back.
