This place is a joke. Stood behind the counter for about ten minutes and was still ignored by the staff before I had to speak up and ask how long the wait was for a haircut. The lady who finally noticed me then asked if I was wanting a haircut? When I stated the obvious, she said it would be about 35 minutes and that I could come back then. I then asked if they do appointments and she seemed to be confused by my question at which point I just decided to leave. What a ridiculous place. It’s very clear that customer service is not paramount here.

I’ll give one star because it didn’t give me any lower options. I used to go there about a year ago about twice a week to get either a hair cut or to straighten it. Even though I didn’t like how the ladies cutting my hair would talk about one another, I still enjoyed Nana’s hairstyles and how well they would straighten my hair. Now, ITS ALL A MESS!
Everything I go to the memorial, which is often, I see ONE person working. So to have as many people as possible, they just finish you off really quick and take the other person and do the same.
Today, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I do my hair every week, and this week I didn’t feel like doing it and I had the money, so I went to get my hair straighten. An old, Hispanic lady was the only one there. She did my hair AWFULLY! In all my years of doind my hair really FOR EVERY WEEK!, I had never seen it so awful. I KNOW she didn’t know how to blow dry it and less straighten. My hair is the easiest thing to do but I’m sure that woman had no title or experience whatsoever with hair. I was soooo angry that I wanted to leave and ask them to return the money but I also couldn’t blame the lady for what’s been a downfall of the whole thing so I finished, put my hair in a bun, and left. Never EVER going back there. My mom and I can do a better job. I hope they close the store

Need a quick cut before a social outing? This is like the Chili’s of hair cut places — quick, inexpensive, and hassle-​free. I would not even venture far enough to call it a salon. There aren’t any appointments; you just walk up and reserve about an hour in advance while you shop in Memorial City mall. Racquel is a nice, reasonably experienced stylist.
Would not book if you need special hairdressing; just a quick cut and possibly color. Their hair products are on sale sometimes, but mostly they carry and push their own brand.
I have nothing bad to say about MasterCuts as I can get a decent hair cut any day of the week! It’s reasonably cleaner than some strip mall barber shops, and they sweep the hair after every cut. It’s around $ 16 for a mens cut.
