MMM Cupcakes are delicious! So glad I stumbled upon this business on Unilocal. After ordering the first dozen we later placed an order for six dozen cupcakes with a six-inch cake for our wedding and everyone loved all the flavors. We went with cookies and cream, German chocolate, red velvet and Neapolitan. Best cupcakes I’ve had and great service!

My update for MMM… Cupcake is long overdue. I didn’t realize that I had tried them 3 years ago. I was looking for someone to design my wedding cupcake tower and after MANY cake, cupcake tastings around Houston, MMM… Cupcake became my top choice to partner with to cater for my wedding. Michelle was such a delight to work with. She is very responsive with emails and although she no longer has her truck, she still bakes and makes deliveries to downtown. As part of the cupcake tasting for my wedding, she allowed me to try 3 cupcakes from her list of many flavors and we got to talk about my vision, color scheme, what I wanted and got quotes from her. She was able to drop by another time to let me try another 2 flavors as I was debating. I ended up choosing mini salted caramel, red velvet and strawberry cupcakes. She also made me a 6inch cake topper in ombré rosette style with my wedding colors and also let us use her cupcake tower with a deposit. Besides my wedding, I also got my colleagues to order cupcakes from her for our work events and they have all LOVED and raved about her cupcakes. From all the pricing that I gathered from many bakers, MMM. Cupcake came out to be very comparable and even a little cheaper than others who I thought their cupcakes were sub par. Here were my comments: –Red velvet — very moist, sweet cream cheese topping and probably one of the BEST red velvet cupcakes I’ve had. Her 6 inch topper cake she made for my wedding was DELICIOUS! I couldn’t stop eating the cake for days. –Salted caramel — frosting was very thick, caramel gooey and amazing. –Smores — There’s graham cracker at the bottom and marshmallows in the middle. The concept of this cupcake was great but I wasn’t a huge fan of this one. –Strawberry — So good! This is one of her top popular flavors. –Carrot — Very moist and typical carrot cake flavor. This would have been my 4th choice for my cupcake tower. –Vanilla — Michelle thinks this flavor is not as exciting as her other flavors to which i also agree since vanilla is very standard BUT my colleagues and I agreed that her vanilla cupcakes were one of the BEST vanilla cupcakes they’ve had. I’m not even a vanilla fan myself but there’s just something about this flavor that topped off our tastebuds. –She doesn’t offer gluten free which was a bummer but I was able to get that from another baker for my wedding I highly recommend MMM. Cupcake for your work events, celebrations, weddings, etc!

Guess who’s back?! Prior to MMM Cupcake’s disappearance, I had plotted to order 1 dozen strawberry cupcakes, so that I could take them home on a weekend and eat them ALLBYMYSELF while watching Netflix in my underwear. But that day never came… I wondered what happened to my beloved cupcake truck. Surely they couldn’t be gone… forever. I refused to accept that reality. I’m not someone who will drop $ 3 – 5 on one cupcake. Nope, not happening. I’m a pretty good baker, and I found that many cupcake bakeries were just sugar-laden disappointments that literally make my teeth hurt. The cakes were usually overly sweet, many times dry, and drowned in bad frosting/icing. MMM Cupcake did cupcakes right, and somehow, I found myself forking over my cash and planning my afternoons(joking but not really) around them. The cakes were fluffy and had a nice airy crumb. When you held one in your hand, they were soft but had a nice weight to them. The frosting was perfectly proportional to the cake and silky smooth; apparently it’s base is made with a combination of whipped cream, cream cheese, powdered sugar. So imagine my delight when I hear that MMM Cupcake is back in business even with conditions. For the foreseeable future, they will not have a truck, but you can place orders via email to mmmcupcaketruck at . There are minimums — less if they are doing a delivery in your area, more if you are the only delivery(typically minimum of 2 dozen, but 1 dozen minimums have also been mentioned). Flavor selections may also be limited per dozen; ask them — they will work with you! You can find them on Facebook with updates on their delivery schedule. My building placed a sizable order of cupcakes this afternoon, and I happily got to reap the benefits: 1 dozen lemon, 1 dozen chocolate, and ½ dozen strawberry — so nice of them to accommodate our request! Sigh. I already inhaled a strawberry cupcake and felt everything I loved in those bites.

I reviewed this place before and it mysteriously is gone now ?? Anyway I’m a cupcake fanatic and I was so disappointed here !!! The cupcakes were cold and hard and so lacking moisture that adds to the cake. I tried this twice so I am sure it was not good. Very dry and the flavors were meh. Wish it was better. I’m giving 2 stars because they were nice

before mmm… cupcake made me a convert, my concept of cupcakes was the dry, stale cake topped with way too much dense and overly-sweetened frosting — aka the typical grocery store cupcake. while in college a couple years ago though, the cupcake craze was at its peak and everyone around me always seemed to ooh and ahh at these irresistibly adorable creations. they weren’t bad, but even the fancy schmancy $ 4-a-cupcake shops didn’t wow me. their moist cakes and delicate frostings were always overshadowed by that über artificial slam of way too much sugar. and this is coming from a total sugar junkie! i stumbled upon mmm… cupcake on one of those daily deal sites and after my first visit, i was completely hooked. their cupcakes are perfect in every way and they come in a wonderfully unique assortment of flavors. first off, the frosting-to-cake ratio is perfecto. there is enough frosting to trigger that feeling of a guilty pleasure, but not so much that the frosting height beat outs the cake height. i’d call it a 2:1 cake to frosting ratio. secondly, the frosting is deliciously whipped, and the taste matches the texture. their airy, buttercreamy frosting is just the right amount of sweet. not that stifiling store-bought in-your-face sweet that only a crazy hyper four year-old would crave. and finally, the cakes are the perfect base with flavors that compliment the frosting flawlessly. of course, i had to try one of every flavor they had, and did so every time i was able to catch up with their truck. my all-time fave has to be their cookies & cream cupcake with the oreo on the bottom. so genius. :) oh and did i mention that these are actually under $ 3 each?! unheard of at any other non-grocery-store cupcake place. and yes, they are full-size cupcakes, not the teaser mini ones. the ONLY downside to mmm… cupcake is that i found it sometimes impossible to track them down. maybe they’re better with this now, but back when i still lived in houston a couple years ago, their twitter and fb wouldn’t be updated that often, so i’d always be trying to chase their truck down and end up missing them(because they were so darn popular they kept selling out by early afternoon!). i’m drooling just thinking about this delectable cupcake truck. DRIVETOSANANTONIO!!! pleaseeee.

MMM Cupcakes rocked my world! I can’t believe how good they were from the truck! I guess they are made that same day and then they keep them nice and fresh to eat where ever they are at. I had them at Rice Village on Friday! If you open up a shop! I have to know and you should keep us posted on where you’ll be– I would love to come back. I got the lemon and my wife got the red velvet. She’s a cupcake fanatic– and we’ll definitely be looking for you in the future! If we could choose M M M over crave– MMM would take the(cup)cake! :) mmm!

CUPCAKETRUCK!!! Anyone who really knows me knows that I absolutely love this place! I think it has a lot to do with the icing for me for some reason. Their icing isn’t too sweet, but it’s creamy, smooth and just wonderful. And the cupcake itself is super moist and not packed with artificial ingredients. Compared to other cupcake places, like Crave or Sweet, I think MMM Cupcake is so much tastier. Favorites: Carrot, red velvet, lemon, and cookies & cream

I ordered 2 dozen custom cupcakes via email. I am not a happy customer and do take in consideration that all correspondence were done via email with me being in VA. I was responsible for ordering cupcakes for my sister’s baby shower which I couldn’t attend(so I didn’t get to taste them). My bff’s company cater from them and she says their cupcakes are good. To start, she was prompt and responsive through email. I specifically told her it’s a ‘pig’ theme. She replied and ask if I had any other request. So I suggested that if the letter ‘M’ could be possible in addition to the ‘pig’ theme. Also, I will pay extra to have them in individual boxes as party favors. The day we met up, prior to my flight in a few hours, I wish I had opened the box to see the cupcakes. I consider myself an easy customer. I gave her all the color theme of the shower and she can decide which one she wanted to use. As for flavors, she can surprise me with whatever but red velvet was a must. Came home, was disappointed. I’m not sure where in the correspondence did it state I wanted just the letter ‘M’ because I was under the assumption it would be an addition to the ‘pig’ if possible. I suppose I can be blame for not being a demanding customer. If i knew this is the final product, I could have gone to any cupcake shop and picked up 2 dozen that looked better. On top of that, the ‘box’ I paid extra for was a plastic container that didn’t fit the cupcake properly(which she did tell me in the email that the ‘box’ is a lil big). I wish she would have indicated the ‘box’ was plastic and not the paper box I assumed.(from now on, I will be more precise about what I want and paying for). Therefore, during transport, some of them fell over and the frostings were messed up. I hope this tad bit information will help other reviewers when purchasing your order for a special event.

Oh my cupcake! These things are delicious! Finished off(with the help of a few co-workers) a cookies and cream and strawberry about 20 minutes ago, so the yumminess still lingers on my lips… The cookies and cream is super cookie-y, super moist, and the icing is light and creamy. The strawberry was moist as well, and the icing tasted like strawberries and cream ice cream… sooooo good! Unlike previous cupcake experiences, MMM Cupcake does not pile on the icing, it’s just enough to compliment the cake part. So glad I finally caught them at my office, this will surely become a Friday tradition!

Excellent cupcakes! We had these delivered yesterday and I was thoroughly impressed. The red velvet was delicious, but they all looked great!

Disclaimer: I have never given 5 stars until now. I’m kind of cupcake slut, so I will do any cupcake at least once, some get done multiple times depending how well we get along ;-). I’ve been huge fan of Crave’s Cupcakes for a while. So I was a bit skeptical when a co-worker said they knew a cup cake truck that was really tasty. I thought«how good can they be with no store front?» Boy was i in for it! MMM Cupcakes are awesome!!! The cookies and cream are like crack! I order 12 of them alone! They are awesome! The cake itself is always moist and they have an Oreo cookie baked into the bottom! The carrot cake and strawberry are pretty tasty too. I’m not a red velvet fan and wasn’t impressed with the s’mores or German chocolate. The cupcakes are a little smaller than your Crave’s or Sprinkle’s, but they’re also cheaper. I wish MMM would create a retail store, there biggest flaw is having to track them down. But we have them at the office alot and they’re a must have!

HEREISTHEDEAL. I have a major problem with most cupcakeries because the cake itself is usually dry and unpalatable. It doesn’t matter what kind of crazy toppings or flavors you slam on it. If I’m choking on a dry mound of baked flour halfway through your product, it sucks. And I DEFINITELY don’t want to pay $ 3.50 or more for the privilege. I also have a problem with a lot of food trucks since it’s supposed to be quick and easy street food, and more times than not you end up frying in the Texas heat while somebody meddles with the grill for an inordinate amount of time. But MMM… Cupcake’s tinycakes inspire a reaction that’s identical to their name. There’s nobody trying to frost at the last moment to ensure dubious maximum freshness; I asked for what I wanted and it came right out. The cake is light and moist – not too sweet and good to the last crumb. I had a red velvet cupcake, which is easy to whiff because the maker can’t hide behind any kind of flavor-related bells and whistles, and it was seriously great. And the icing on this cake? Best of all, at $ 2.50 a pop, it’s a treat that won’t leave you penniless. Even though the cupcake fad is way overplayed(and the food truck craze may in fact be on its way out), these are some seriously good cuppycakes. And I’ll take my hat off to that. Bonus hint: they take ¢redit ¢ard$ too.

I love cupcakes and work in downtown, so having a cupcake truck that makes stops around the downtown area is just cool! When I’m in need of a sugar fix, I just check Twitter to see their location and take a walk around the busy streets of downtown. The cookies and cream cupcake is yummy!

Lately I have been cursed with frequent«food comas». Maybe I’m just eating too well or maybe I’m just getting too old(21 years old) to be eating whatever I want. As food comas go I seem to always get them from my main course. I rarely ever make it to desert as I am ready to be carried out on a stretcher by then. Continuing my love for Houston food trucks I tried MMM… Cupcake, little did I know one could get a «food coma» from desert. After finding where they would be located on twitter, I immediately set my plan of attack for the next day. I arrived promptly on time only to see no truck in site. I rushed around Rice Village looking for the little truck, as I became more and more worried. Luckily a cell phone number is posted on their Facebook site and I quickly found out they were just running late. After waiting for a little bit I spotted my prize in the distance as my eyes followed them to where they were parked. As soon as they parked the only thought was to run over. Just like a kid waiting for a toy store to open I eagerly waited for them to open the window. After hearing what they had for today, I decided upon on a cookies & cream, strawberry, carrot and red velvet. I can say without a doubt that these cupcakes are rich. I’m talking about put a disclaimer on the on the box rich. «What you are about to eat might result in you passing out from too much bliss». From the frosting on top to the cakey part(is there a proper term for describing that part?), each section ties into each other perfectly. The cupcakes each had exactly what the name said it was. When I bit into the strawberry cupcake, I could actually taste and see real strawberries. In the cookies and crème cupcake is a freaking Oreo!!! The carrot cupcake had actual carrot in it. I’ve always like red velvet cupcakes but I don’t know what they are made of. That is why I don’t think I can say they put actual velvet into the cupcake. The frosting on top the carrot and red velvet seem like it was cream cheese frosting, which tasted wonderfully together.
I actually did not get a chance to eat them on the same day. Unfortunately these cupcakes had to sit in the fridge for a day, which to my surprise did not seem to affect them at all. Everything tasted amazing! After this experience, when I think of getting desert the only thought that pops into my head is MMM… Cupcake!

I love cupcakes. The MMM… Cupcake trucks stops at my husband’s building on Fridays, and on Good Friday they got there nice and early. We got one of everything they had(chocolate, s’mores, strawberry, carrot, and red velvet). They are smaller than other places but they are also cheaper, so the cost is appropriate. The s’mores was the most interesting, as it has a graham cracker bottom to it. The frosting was a poured chocolate with bits of graham cracker in it, and there was a small surprise marshmallow in the middle. I like how they really thought out the cupcake. The other cupcakes were just plain and just ok. The carrot cake was probably the best and was quite flavorful. I didn’t care for the strawberry and the red velvet was forgettable. The cake is spongier and drier than I would like and not as soft and light. The frosting was just there and nothing special. I am curious to try the cookies and cream cupcake that David N. mentioned. I think I’ll stick with their themed and special cupcakes from now on. I love that they essentially deliver and that they have specialty cupcakes that are well thought out, I just wish the everyday regular cupcakes had a little more moist and delicious. Ohhhh… and they take credit cards using an iPhone. How cool is that?

This is how cupcake mobile trucks are supposed to be. $ 2.5 a cupcake, a menu outside of the truck, with a description of what the cake is and what kind of icing so you’re well informed. I had the S’more and the Cookies and cream cupcake. The have very nice packaging, quantity specific. The s’more was ok, but the cookies and cream was amazing. the bottom is an actual cookie. I’m a fan.

Yay!!! So I totally didn’t know we had cupcakes trucks in Houston. This will be one reason why I wouldn’t mind working in downtown. I was just driving by in downtown on the way to Bombay Pizza Co. and discovered the awesome little gem. I had the carrot cupcake with cream cheese frosting… the best one I have ever had and really moist. Fiancé had the strawberry cupcake with butter cream frosting. I am definitely addicted and will have to track the truck down next time I am in town. A must try for everyone.

I don’t work downtown so I don’t get a chance to swing by this cupcake truck during the day. I still follow them on Twitter though! One day I demanded to my roommate that she must go and try these cupcakes because the truck is near her office building. She said she«couldn’t go» so I was disappointed. When I came home later in the night there was a box of two cupcakes sitting on the counter for me! We had the red velvet and the chocolate. The frostings for both were very good(not overly sweet or sugary feeling). They did not make your teeth feel like they are rotting. The batter was nice and fluffy and the cupcakes were the perfect size. I say go check this place out! (I wrote this review hoping my roommate surprises me with more cupcakes!)

Wow! So happy that I found you guys on Unilocal!Cutest concept-cupcakes on wheels! :) Super moist and delicious! I had the Lemon and the Cinnamon Roll cupcake. The Lemon is super rich, but hit the spot. Then I moved on to the Cinnamon Roll w/butter cream-which rocked my socks! Both cakes are really moist and fresh. The two guys working were super friendly and I loved how promptly they responded to my request on FB to stop by my office! Cupcakes are $ 2.50/piece-extremely reasonable. I brought a gaggle of women with me and I know the cupcakes really satisfied their sweet tooth! Can’t wait to try other flavors!

I had the opportunity to try out MMM… Cupcake’s, well, cupcakes. I spotted them during the Market Square Re-Grand Opening. Instead of spending my hard earned cash on some gyros or kabob, I got myself the strawberry with strawberry crème cheese and their new experimental flavor cookies and cream. The first thing I notice is that they kept their cupcakes in a slide freezer like the one in convenience store where you buy your popsicles or ice cream bar. This is actually a good thing because it was a hot day and it gave the cupcake a bit harder texture but not frozen hard where I may crack my molar. The strawberry with strawberry crème cheese was nothing like I ever had. I thought these cupcakes would be too sweet like many other cupcakes place where I have to take a gulp of water to wash it down but no, it wasn’t too sweet at all. In fact the crème cheese makes it stand out from others. You can actually taste the strawberry flavor but it doesn’t over come the pure crème cheese flavor. That cupcake went down into my stomach in no time. Now the cookies and cream cupcake is something I didn’t expect. First it looked like a cookies and cream dessert because it’s kind of white with black dots all over. Second, the bottom of the cupcake is actually cookie crumble crust rather than your soft cupcake bottom. Again, it’s wonderful that this cupcake is not over sweeten like many desserts out there. If I ever find them again(no, I don’t want to search for them on Facebook knowing where they park, that ruins the fun of finding them out of the blues), I would definitely try the other flavors for $ 2.50 each.
