I come here all the time with my kids, they love it. But again they only have the fried rice and desserts. I have enjoyed several dishes, not bad but selection could be better.

This place is pretty good to dine at. The food choices are good and yummy, also the total for two during lunch time is not too bad at around $ 17 and the lady’s there who go by your table are very friendly and making sure to ask if you need a refill or anything else, ect. Good place to stop at and eat at. :)

Just left this place with my girlfriend about 30 minutes ago. Spot was decent. Food was good(String beans were really good actually, which is rare). Guy who greeted us at the front was cool. The waitresses were nice as well however they were a bit too eager to have the bill paid after only 30 minutes of eating. Speaking of bills, the total for me and the misses came out to about $ 18. Would go here again if I’m in the mood for buffet and don’t want to drive far(this place is only 10 mins from our place) otherwise I’ll explore some other options in the area.

I have to admit it was pretty good. Eggrolls sucked, but the fried rice, pepper chicken, general tso and the jalapeño chicken were good.

I use to frequent this place in 08′ — 09′ because I lived and worked in the area. Now that I’m working in this are again and most other restaurants are closed on the weekend’s this place came to mind. I like that they offer dine in — normal buffet style or a to-go option for $ 7.99. I have never had the pleasure of sitting inside the rather large restaurant so I can’t vouch for the quality of service or timeliness or anything that you would normally encounter. What I can tell you is that the greenbeans, shrimp egg-foo young and black pepper chicken are my favorites. Although I had not been here in years I knew I was heading straight to the greenbeans first. They were better than I remembered and that says a lot. Lightly tossed in garlic and some other flavors that I wish I could put my finger on. I was dissapointed that I called before making the 5 minute drive over there to make sure they were stocked up with plenty of fresh food and was apparently lied… I ranted and raved to my coworker about this place only to get there and find the rice, noodle and general tso’s tray EMPTY… Really Panda Chinese Buffet Restaurant… you’re totally low on what I would like to assume is the 3 most popular common buffet items… We had to talk to the host at the front to request a ETA on the noodles and chickent. Then we waited for 15 minutes. Thank goodness we were the first to see it finally come about lol before we made it out the door there was a line around those items. The place wasn’t crowdedm appeared comfortable and roomy… the aroma was killing me I wante dto dive into my tray so bad. I’ll be back and I’m bringing people with me I’ll just be sure to call again first and ask about specific items, although I really feel that I should have to do that or wait because this is a buffet. Certain items should just revolve right?

Best Chinese buffet I have found since moving to Houston. Great selection unlike many other places around and yes a bit crowded at lunch. I liked that the food was pipping hot and constantly replaced due to the overwhelming business. The service was great as well as the price. Only downfall it’s not close to the Woodlands so my only choice is for lunch. Otherwise I would not venture there due to location.

The food is consistently hot and tasty. The peanut chicken is very tasty. The place gets a bit crowded during lunch so go before noon. The service is always good and the servers walk around«at the ready» to refill your glass as soon as you take a sip. Example…today when I went, the server asked me if I wanted a refill. I said«Later.» She smiled and seemingly walked away for like 2 minutes. Then she came back and said«Refill? It’s «later». I thought that was funny! Don’t miss the buckets of icecream near the back of the buffet… it’s serve yourself and it’s REAL icecream… not yogurt stuff.

Clean and friendly. Food’s good with many choices. They never put out any more sushi so the one piece left sat there for 45 minutes. Orange sherbert was really good.

For a buffet, I was impressed by the consistency of food. The selection is not the largest, but the food was always hot and plentiful, which is more than I can say for other Chinese buffets in the area(*ahem China Bear). The hot and sour soup was particularly tasty. They have just about all of the Americanized Chinese restaurant staples(General Tso’s, Pepper Steak, Egg Foo Yong, Egg Rolls, Sweet & Sour Chicken, etc.) and all of them are consistently among the best buffet(and cheap takeout) I’ve had. Service is pretty good and the price is great($ 8 – 9 per person). Panda’s is nothing special, but when you’re looking for this type of meal, it’s a sure bet.

I find this place to be acceptable. While the food is not anything that is worth raving about. However, the company I am with always seem to make the visit so far enjoyable. Important to note parking is plentiful but the place fills up rather quickly. We leave to get there by 11:20 and be setting down. If not you are likely to be waiting in a long line and then possibly standing outside due to the small enter. The food is buffet which means everything is produced by the masses and in the quickest possible way with no quallity control. Most of the food all taste the same except when the food is a spicy or hot specified dish. The counters are long approximately 8 – 10 feet with plenty of Chinese, Sushi, American items to choose from for the most selective eaters.

This place is usually busy at lunchtime and today is no exception, so I join the crowd today… but first must work my way around the police cars in front of the restaurant, as the officers are handcuffing a guy who … let’s put it this way… did not look like a customer. Please don’t broadcast this, because we wouldn’t want to ruin the safety reputation of the Greenspoint area. I stand in line behind a group of about eight security guards waiting for waitress to set-up their table. Eight guards??? Hmmmm… Some bank is vulnerable at lunchtime! I’ll be the crook in the car is kicking himself now for not taking advantage of this opportunity. Oh yeah, right. I digress. This is supposed to be about a restaurant. Gosh. All I remember is good orange sherbet from the freezer of about eight 5-gallon ice cream cartons. That is what I liked most about this place. The buffet is about six islands, each about ten feet long. There is enough variety of offerings for a diverse crowd. Besides the usual Chinese dishes, there is a small selection of sushi, a few mayonnaisy(yech) salads, Buffalo wings, fruit, fresh broccoli, boiled shrimp, and fried chicken. You get the idea: a lot of variety of cuisines, but not much variety within each category. The Chinese food is below average, but you can get creative and have enough for a meal. For example, for the pan-fried pork dumplings, I went over to the sushi section and added fresh ginger to the soy sauce. For the Crab Rangoon, I went over to the bar with the General Tso’s Chicken(not good BTW) to spoon-on something with a bit of orange taste. It wasn’t enough, so I mixed some hot sauce and fresh orange juice(from a slice) into a bowl to mix my own sweet-hot sauce. Not bad. You get the idea: The food is not that good on its own, and the sauces are not that good either. But you can achieve a decent mix if you are desperate and picky enough like me. The Chinese dishes are not spicy hot, and they look too oily and possibly re-heated or re-cooked. The pieces of meat are all small chunks, which boosts the amount of fat-to-protein ratio. The diet Coke tasted strange. Either they didn’t mix it right, or the next health inspection is about due. The boiled shrimp were ok, but the cocktail sauce was too sweet and not spicy enough. So, I had to add some ginger and wasabi and make my own mix for this, too. Egg roll is average, for a buffet, which is not saying much. The atmosphere is fine. The décor is nice, with green ginko-leaf-patterned cloth on the chairs, red carpet, and some room dividing structures to keep it from seeming too big. As with any new buffet to me, I take a little bit of the things I may or may not like. There were a lot of don’t-likes, but enough(not many) likes to get my $ 6.50 money’s worth. Some of those likes were healthy choices of fresh food rather then the factory foods in the stainless steel buffet bowls for hours crying«pick me» like scraggly pets at the pound. I’m sorry. I digress again. It must have been something I ate(but not the orange sherbet).
