First time ordering pizza from this location today and will most likely be my last. My office is 4.5 miles away yet it took 1 hr and 25 minutes to arrive. To make matters worse the pizza wasn’t event hot anymore. I was offered a free pizza on my next order as consolation. If it’s going to take anywhere close to this long I probably won’t even bother taking them up on their offer. It’s unfortunate as I’m a big fan of Papa John’s. Just not this establishment after today.

First off, I would just like to inform everyone that my delivery guy was hot! He told me his name was Kirby, like the street. Anyway I ordered a large pepperoni and it was cooked to perfection. The melted cheese even stuck to the adjacent slices just like in the commercials! I would like to say that I stopped eating after my second slice, but I would be lying. I ate the whole box by myself. What? It was rough spending Valentine’s Day by myself again, okay? The information from my web order had a projected delivery time of 30 – 45 minutes, but the cute delivery guy got it there in 23. I am definitely recommending eating at this papa johns and requesting Kirby as your delivery boy.

Ok. To start with as many have said pizza is fairly consistent. What is not are the people who work at each location and even between shifts. This place is normally OK. I was in there on a Monday around lunch and there was some manager maybe the owner who was the wrench that fell into a barely working machine. He was making everything so much more difficult, complicating a simple process, and on top of all else, rude to the employees and customers. There was one lady who worked there who was polite. Again pizza is what it is, just hope that guy find something better to do.

Worst Papa Johns ever! Three times over the last year they have«forgotten» my pizza. And when I call to check on the order it takes them 10 minutes or more to figure out where my pizza is. And then the response is… we will send it out with the next car. No, hey we are really sorry we messed up. We are sending s pizza ASAP and its on the house. I will take my business somewhere else

Waited an hour and 20 minutes for a pizza that was quoted to arrive in 30 – 40 minutes. When I called to check on it, I was put on hold for over 11 minutes(I finally hung up because it arrived). Was not hot at all and had no garlic sauce. Disappointing.

Have only ordered delivery so this review is regarding that portion of this business. The pizza is … Papa Johns. You know what you’re getting. Not the best pizza, not bad, but consistent. Delivery has always been within the time they stated it would be. Delivery guys have always been friendly enough. If you want a quick/easy pizza they do a good job. Small or large orders alike. They’ve always arrived hot/warm. Keep in mind, during the dinner rush, it’ll take 40−60min for your order to be delivered, so order ahead of time! Online ordering is very simple/easy. Be prepared to pay a delivery fee.

So we called at 1020 to get pizza delivered by 11. The pizza arrived at 1130 and wasn’t hot. No explanation, no apology. I’ll just order from other pizza places in the future. I also don’t like when a place charges me a delivery fee…

I love Papa John’s pizza but this place’s delivery is sub-par and needs to step up to meet the quality of other locations and Papa John’s as a chain. I will no longer be ordering from this one… I’d rather drive somewhere else, even another pizza joint, than get delivery from here if they can’t even delivery what I order. I ordered 5 pizzas, paid for extra garlic sauce and jalapenos on the side. I specifically asked for packets of Parmesan cheese and those red peppers. I even pre-paid and gave a $ 10 delivery tip since it was raining outside. What i got was pizza without the crust brushed in butter, no packets, no jalapenos and like 15 cups of garlic butter sauce. A complete let-down.

Very friendly staff and fast carryout! I ordered online & headed straight there. My pizza was ready early! Greatly appreciated.

Pizza is fine but I called for carryout this weekend and paid with my debit card. The guy taking my payment was on his cell phone and the only guy in the shop at the time(that I could see)…He layed his cell down on the counter and was sugary sweet… almost too nice when he was ringing up my payment. My card went out of my view to his left side for a moment and it appeared to be swiped but then he swiped it in the card reader in front of me so I discounted my original thought and went about my business. I just had this feeling about him… Well, my bank just called and now my debit card number is being used all over town. It was not used anywhere else between now and then. I’m definitely not going back!!!

The delivery service for this location ALWAYS takes longer than the 30 – 45 minutes it is supposed to, and when you call asking about your late order you get a short, snippy answer from the person answering your call. However, if you pick up from this location, the pizza is quite good when hot and fresh.

Vow to never eat at a Papa Johns Pizza anymore because of this location. I ended up getting food poisoning from this place from either their cheese pizza, wings, or ranch dressing. Yes, food poisoning because it was the only thing I ate the entire day. I had it last Sunday and more than a week later, I am NOT back to normal. I’m better, but not normal. You guys should be careful if you eat here!

Worse pizza I’ve ever had. I ordered delivery. It did come quickly. But it tasted like cardboard. The toppings are tasteless. Will never order again from any Papa Johns. Yuck!

Reliable flavor! Incredible customer service… Working the night shift I called to see if they were still open. I was desperate for the yummy hot goodness that only an occasional pizza can bring. Technically they were closed and only taking phone orders. After minimal persuasion they gentleman agreed to let me place an order. His going the extra mile made my long tedious work night doable. I’ve only been here a couple of times, but I DRIVE to this location… the Montrose store is closer, but service and quality there is non existent. Thank you for being FABULOUS!

We used to order from this location all the time but it has now been blacklisted. It took over an hour and a half to get our delivery. On top of that, the delivery guy obviously couldn’t read because he was at the wrong house saying he knocked on the door twice(impossible because our gate was closed and locked so there was no way he could reach the door to knock). Delivery guy does finally make it but has no apology for the tardiness whatsoever. His face says it all…“my life sucks and I’m an idiot because I can’t read house numbers”.(Okay…so I’m being a bit harsh but you would be too if you went through the same pain.) Of course the pain didn’t kick in till a few hours later. Both pizzas were contaminated somehow(not sure if it got contaminated during food prep or delivery) but it definitely gave us terrible food poisoning. Do yourself a favor and don’t order delivery from here unless you want to take the gamble. You may get the same delivery guy who is super late because he can’t read house numbers(because clearly it is your fault that you are living at the wrong house and not his fault at all he drove to a different home) or you may get a bad case of food poisoning. They say what doesn’t kill you will make you stronger(or make you a former customer in my case).

Supreme pizza was pretty good. Not as greasy as Pizza Hut. Order came delivered in 20 minutes. Overall a good pizza at a great price.

As far as pizza chains go… I’m kind of in love with some Papa John’s. This location in particular is great. Everyone has always been nice. I was just in the other night for pick up. They had me at tuscan 6 cheese… I waited in my car for a bit(only like 10 mins) while it was being made. The guy who took my order even brought my pizza and soda out to me when it was ready. Awwww Plus $ 5.99 large 1 topping for carry out on Mondays??? Um, yes please.

My fav chain pizza place was Pizza Hut – they they started getting cheaper ingredients or maybe I just grew more picky? I’ve also had a few BAD Pizza Hut experiences before(latest one the delivery driver was smoking at my doorstep!) I do like Papa Johns because I like their dipping sauces and their pizza just tastes fresher to me. I also know that the pizza is still hot when it comes to my door. I have tried the diff«non-chain» Pizza places in the area and some just don’t do it for me.

I used to order from here when I wanted a small local feel from an actual chain restaurant. Yes…confusing…but when papa johns became more like a chain was when I stopped ordering. The freshness and uniqueness aspect faded away. The thing that kept me coming back were their dipping sauces. The butter like sauce was incredible… but terribly bad for you. I have just found so many other better local joints that papa john’s just isn’t near the top of my pizza places.

The most important thing for you to know about Papa John’s — $ 5.99 Large One-Topping Pizza on Monday nights!(carry out only) Considering that the normal price is something like $ 12, this is quite a discount. And for that reason, I only go to Papa John’s on Mondays. It’s a running special which has existed as long as I’ve been in Houston(almost 3 years) so it’s safe to expect it to continue for a while longer. Overall, Papa John’s is… pizza. Just like any large pizza chain you’ve ever had. Sometimes delicious, sometimes too greasy, just depending on how your stomach feels and what you are in the mood for, that day.
