I never wrote a review before but the food here is super delicious and people are nice. I am a big crawfishes eater. originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, where crawfishes are shipped from. I tried so many crawfishes before but this place has been the best so far. Price is reasonable. Chicken wings are awesome too. Noodle soup«bun bo sao» is also great. This will be my favorite place for eating out from now on :)

The phở was amazing! The broth was flavorful and the soup had plenty of meat. The small bowl is enough to fill you up. I also ordered an iced coffee and the crawfish. The coffee was soooo delicious however I’ve had better crawfish.

The focus of this clean modern restaurant on Bellaire is all about the Phở. The combination Phở Viet Dac Biet came out steaming with generous portions of meat. Highly recommended.

It was my first time here. I ordered a large beef noodle soup with steak and brisket flat with a side of egg rolls and coconut juice. I’m very surprised! I absolutely love it! The soup has a lot of flavor. The meat is really good. Definitely coming back. This is by far the best phở I’ve tried next to Phở Danh.

I’ve been visiting several Vietnamese phở restaurants in Chinatown and really look for differentiators. The phở is delicious, starting with tasty soup base. You can choose types of meats, meaning customize to your taste. What differentiates from others is place is clean and contemporary and having football games is a plus for me. They give you water carafe and glasses so you don’t need to wait for refills. The only limitations are they serve just phở, and other then specials could be limitation if your interested in rice dishes.

This is my near weekly spot, and my number one choice for Phở on Bellaire. That is a strong statement and I stand by it. I have been visiting since the place opened, and have been able to enjoy lengthy conversations with the owner, and the opportunity to meet his wife and son. They are all wonderfully charming hosts every time. I know what I like, so I always go for the special combination phở in size large. Sometimes the size is a mistake, but the flavors are forever incredible. Before even adding Sriacha or Hoison, my mouth is rewarded with a beautiful savory beef broth adorned with rice noodles, plentiful beef cuts, and assorted phở veggies. The owner is very proud of his broth, and it is apparent in the quality of the dish. I’ve tried a multitude of phở places, but when I want a satisfactory bowl, Phở Viet will always be the first choice.

Great phở restaurant. Too bad it is so far from my house but if I ever am near this area I will definitely be coming back! Vietnamese ice coffee was good and the phở broth was seasoned well and was just plain yummy. The special which was the chicken curry was very good!

I’m a fan of phở, my family makes it at home, we eat it at get togethers, and we eat it when we go out. I don’t have high expectations when eating phở at restaurants since they mostly taste the same. Often times the broth is extra oily and the meat is overcooked but that rarely deters me from ordering a bowl. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered a bowl of Phở Tai here at Phở Viet. The broth was flavorful but without all the grease on top. The meat was thinly sliced and perfectly tender. The veggies on the plate were fresh and crisp. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and definitely plan to return. I hope it’s just as good next time!

My first time at Phở Viet was amazing. The crawfish was the best that I’ve ever had and the patio was great. I’ve had crawfish all over the south and this is one of the best flavored crawfish I’ve ever had.

Probably my favorite Phở restaurant of all time(and I’ve been to at least all the Phở places in Houston). Their broth is light yet very VERY tasty!!! And it’s barely oily!!! I’ve been here multiple times and each time is great. The broth barely contains the oily bubbles you see on top of the broth(which you could usually play connect the oil bubbles with other phở places but here, I prefer the healthier and even tastier broth!!!) Great portions of meat and service is great, always checking in on the table and refilling our water. One thing I really liked in particular was the Chicken Curry(which was the special dish of the week). And it was the tastiest. Curry. Ever. With potatoes, fresh purple onions, and super tender chicken which falls of the bone, this curry I could probably eat everyday for lunch. I’m definitely going to become a regular here.

Sorry Phở Ve Dem, but you’ve been replaced! My parents live around the corner and I have literally passed this place a thousand times since they’ve opened but have been reluctant to try it out cause it always looks sketchy and dead. I’m telling ya’ll, don’t judge a book by it’s covers! You will never know what you’re missing out on. After reading all these positive Unilocal reviews I knew I had to give this place a try and I’m super happy I did. Ordered togo last night right before closing and was surprised this place was still packed. The verdict? Possibly one of the best bowls of phở I’ve ever had in my life. I finished the whole damn thing and I rarely do that. I had the phở nam bo vien. Broth was on point! Clear and not oily and tons of flavor. I didn’t need any sauce people usually douse their soup in. I also didn’t need to quench my thirst from all that MSG other places use. Meat was tender and not dry. Their meatballs are different than any other place I’ve ever been to. They’re not literally«balls» but slices of meat. I can’t even begin to describe the flavor of this mysterious meat. Next time I will be ordering only the bo vien. Still grinning ear to ear that I have discovered this gem hehe.

We love this place — it’s clean, the staff is friendly, & the Phó is awesome! Not many in the area have English speaking staff and keep their place immaculately clean. The broth here is absolutely the best — herbs are always fresh, husband and wife are always there with friends around, having a family dinner. I have never felt rushed or unwanted and NEVER had food that was anything less that Top notch!!! Unilocalers… It’s a must go!

«Good phở, nice customer service, clean restroom.» Would I recommend? Most likely. (This is a review for Phở Viet.) The phở was good and the staff was nice. Can’t get pass the cheesy clubbing music though.

Got the chicken phở with beef broth and the chicken curry with rice. The chicken was really dry in both dishes. The broth was good, however it seems that this is not the place to get chicken. The curry was really greasy and the chicken tasted extremely over cooked.

In Houston, this is the place you have to try if you want Vietnamese food! There are bunch of restaurants. yes. but with a few people, you can share many dishes that are made on par with how it should be made at home. My top choice here is their PH. Phở Sure! The Phở was delicious and they serve some Vietnamese street food. Everything was so authentic. I got the biggest bowl of phở with brisket, rare steak, tendon, and tripe which was excellent. It was chock full of the meats, the basil and spouts were fresh. The broth was very good less oil. I think the phở was about $ 7.99 or so, reasonable. The service, although grumpy and impersonal, was very good and fast. They also serve vietnamese coffee is made the way it should be. I would def come back again
