This place is awesome! I’ve gone consistently for 5 years. The ladies behind the counter are always nice, food is freshly prepared when you order it so you can ask for things to be left out or on the side. Their salads are AMAZING. Huge! with avocado, bacon, chicken, olives, You get this giant scoop of avocado on the salads. LOVE. The line can get long but it moves along. Can be a little confusing where to get certain items, sandwiches/pasta where you order, salads towards the corner where the lady makes it in front of you. Pay at the end, cash and credit cards accepted. They clearly only serve the lunch market for the Greenspoint area but definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

As far as this place is concerned, it never stopped being the 80s. I kinda I love it for that. The food is at least as good as it needs to be for a workday lunch, with fresh ingredients and a homemade style that together make it a step up from nearby franchises. I like the vegetable lasagna special in particular. Sauces and cheeses are hearty and flavorful. I assume this place will eventually get renovated or reimagined like everything else in Greenspoint lately, but I hope it sticks around and always retains its classic, casual comfort and unique decency for the area. It’s really the only place of its kind around here anymore.

Awesome place for lunch. Visiting from California and I wish we had a Piazza in Los Angeles. The must try dishes are Thai chicken salad, chicken pesto pasta, meatball sub, and on Wednesdays they have gumbo. As a west coaster it was the first time I had gumbo and I’m sold :) I love southern hospitality

Fact: Greenspoint is not really a hub for good food. However, I’m obsessed with the Gorgonzola salad at this place. It’s cafeteria style eating. You go in, get a tray, order, and by the time you hit the end of the food line, your food is almost always ready. I do see people waiting for their food, but I’ve always ordered a salad, so it’s always there waiting for me. There is outside patio seating and indoors seating. If you go during lunchtime, the only people you’ll see are business professionals on their lunch break. The menu is good. Don’t get the muffaletta sandwich; a coworker of mine got it, and was disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. First of all, it’s Greenpoint. Finding a «hidden gem» seems impossible. While this little café isn’t winning any awards anytime soon, I will be back often. At noon on a Monday I got through the line, placed my order(Thai chicken salad, to go) got my food, paid and left in under 7 minutes. There were about 45 patrons in there, including the 10 in line. The ladies in the kitchen were quick and efficient. The cashier was curious and mindful that we all had places to be. They offer a variety of lunch options and the patios(they have 2 outdoor seating options) were clean and one had a well manicured garden around it. Tucked away in a business epicenter, I was impressed. My salad was very nice. The soba noodles were seasoned and the ingredients were fresh. The honey soy dressing was perfect and the salad was filling and perfect for a hot day. Great amount of protein and the peppers throughout added an unexpected yet deliciously spicy bonus. They have lots of snacks, baked goods, to go beverages and fruit to choose from also.

Ok place. Parking is limited for this small restaurant. They have soups, sandwiches and pizzas I had a pepperoni pizza(I know, not very adventurous) and it was ok. It was the size of a small plate, think personal pan pizza size. It was ok, on par with a frozen pizza from the grocery store. This place won’t make the lunch rotation. And the décor is a little dated. Eh experience.

This is a great lunch spot! So close to my office so I do to go a lot. The gorgonzola chicken salad is on point! I normally get that 90% of the time I come here. I’ve had a few of their sandwiches and soups and pastas, they were good too, but the salads are there are amazing. Everything is always fresh and reasonably priced. The line can get long at lunch hours if you come after 11:30 but it goes by fairly quick.

I come here often because I work in the area. It’s decent food for a decent price. You’ll have the best luck with the salads… they’re all good. My favorite is the Gorgonzola. It may look gross but it’s not! The gyro, chicken salad sandwich, and baked ham and cheese sandwich are also good. It can be pricey for this type of food, but they give you huge portions. When you go anywhere in the area for lunch, you’re going to have to wait. I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes here, and lately lines have been even shorter due to Exxon employees leaving the area and it being summer time.

Nice atmosphere. The food has a nice flavor, not oversalted. During lunchtime it is usually very crowded. The Potato Italiano is worth it though.

Piazza’s food is tasty Italian for the Greenspoint area. And price is reasonable. You should only go there only if you work nearby and want to go there for lunch with workmates and don’t mind standing in line for about 5 – 15 minutes during lunch rush. Good thing about Piazza is that it is open early, like 10am and closes late, like 3pm. If you go OUTSIDE the rush hour and are in the area, this is very recommended because there is no wait. So if your company doesn’t mind a late lunch and you are going to eat in, it’s great for that. Bad thing about Piazza is, after a year of excellent pick up service, they don’t answer the phone or, even more commonly, pick up and and hang up without saying a word. I’ve been going there for about a year and recently I get hung up now when I order pick up — without a word. I thought it was a connection problem so I kept calling. I spoke with the manager, but it hasn’t gotten back to the good old days. Doesn’t matter even if you call when they are not busy they seem to not answer or hang up. So sad because I loved this place. Update — I found out that some telemarketers were bothering the heck out of them, but they decided to answer the phone again. So I’m a fan again. But you might have little trouble calling in 11:45 — 1:00. Good luck!

This place is a Good healthy option in greenspoint. They’re Caesar salad is very delicious as well as their pastas and sandwiches. I like their grilled panini and other sides. Always good and not too heavy. Beware, the line does go out the door during lunchtime. It also gets packed. When the weather is good, the outdoor seating is nice. Just stay away from the row of Russian smokers.

I only frequent this place because I work in the area. The food is amazing here. Lines are long so it is recommended to go early. The salads are bomb! There are many choices in this complex but Piazza ranks high among my favorites

The sign says«Piazza Café». Chiming in with the other reviews, this is a decent place for weekday lunches for those working in Greenspoint. Thank goodness for Unilocal reviews in leading me to find this place! I am sick of sandwiches and burgers, and was looking for shawarmas or a gyro… Today’s lunch special was a gyro with a caesar side salad. Bingo! I walked in around noon and was in and out in about 10 minutes. The salad portions look Huge… next time I may try that.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t get good reviews. I really like it. They have a wide range of Italian dishes you can choose from and they’re all really good. I go there at least once a week. The restaurants in the Greenspoint area just aren’t awesome so it’s nice to know that I can consistently get good food here. If you miss your window and go shortly after 11 or 11:30 you might have to wait in a fairly long line. The line doesn’t last long as the workers are all working at high efficiencies. The cashier is only one lady that runs two registers. It’s amazing. If you eat there, you can leave your plates on the table and someone will clean it up afterwards. Free wifi with CNN on the TV in the dining area. If the weather is nice, they have a few tables set up out along the side of the restaurant so you can soak up some sun! I am getting hungry now just thinking about their meatball sub. YUMMY!

Aside from the reasonable prices, the only pro about Piazza is its proximity to the only Starbucks in Greenspoint(inside the Hilton next door). But the plus points end there. The food is sub-par, sometimes being so bad it’s offensive. I can understand that being a cafeteria-style restaurant that caters primarily to business professionals, their main priority is getting food out quickly. Unfortunately in their quest to be efficient, they seriously skimp on flavor. Nothing seems to contain salt, pepper, or other spices, and everything seems haphazardly thrown together. Also, their portions are not very filling, so I would especially suggest against getting a half-size portion of pasta, unless you are lucky enough to have the appetite of a sparrow, which I am not :(.

Piazza is frequented mainly by employees of the Greenspoint office complex, hence its lunch only hours. The long line at lunchtime may turn some away, but I found the service speed to be acceptable. I had the gorgonzola salad. The portion was large and the salad well made, but the dressing left something to be desired. The price was average for a lunch offering. As previous reviewers said, Greenspoint isn’t exactly the best culinary hub in Houston. It gets 3-stars as a decent non-chain lunch option in an area with few fantastic choices.

I have to agree with pretty much everything Mashael said. The food is good with some decent variety to meet the needs of your lunch buddies. The portions are generous and everything tastes freshly made. Don’t bother showing up for dinner, they close after the lunch crowd dissipates.

Although I doubt many of you Unilocalers frequent the Greenspoint area, where this restaurant is located… But a good lunch place can be so hard to find, so I’m Unilocaling about it. Come at 11 am or right before otherwise you’ll be stuck in a line out the door.(Although there are always tables available, even outdoor seating) This cafeteria style restaurant offers pastas, sandwiches, salads, and soups. I love their Gyro sandwich that comes with a side Caesar salad. I tried the Gorgonzola salad once when I was on a health trip, and although it was huge and quite flavorful, I was hungry after an hour. Although it is my favorite lunch place in the area, I give it a 4 because it is just that– A place to go for lunch given the limited choices.
