Reserved a space at the bar after our rehearsal dinner. They had a soace set aside for us, the service was tremendous, and everyone had a fantastic time. Thanks to everyone at Pimlico for being so accomodating and making sure that everyone had a blast.

Stopped in to watch opening day baseball at night. Tap selection isn’t huge but it’s ok. No favors on the prices. Bartender was really friendly. It’s a pretty average Irish pub, on the nicer side compared to many I’ve been to. Not a bad spot to have a beer and watch a game.

I’ve only been here for the Monday night Trivia. There are eight rounds of questions of eight questions each including both visual and audio questions. Pretty difficult questions. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and they also had someone selling burgers outside on a Monday night. $ 8 gets you a burger and a bag of chips. I didn’t try the burger so I can’t tell you how good it is and whether or not it’s cash only. They don’t serve food. I came hungry not knowing this and left hungry. So come here for drinks and come here for the trivia.

I have visited this bar on 2 occasions recently to participate in their Tuesday Trivia Night. Both times I had a good time. I haven’t been able to eat any of their food here due to the kitchen being closed for remodeling I believe. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The small parking lot in front is limited so sweet parking is very likely if you come here. I like the interior décor and bar and table service for drinks have been A-OK. I will update this review if I get to sample the food here.

Good selection of spirits. Nice atmosphere. I’d give them 5 stars but they didn’t have a kitchen. The plus was that they had a meal available for patrons outside. I came here from out of and felt very welcomed. I would like to come back on a busier night and see how it’s like. The prices are very reasonable.

The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because of the parking. It’s a very small lot and filled up fast, so we had to hike a bit from back streets. Otherwise, reasonably priced beers, good location, friendly staff.

Nice little pub in this area. Music: I came on a Wed that is advertised as 80s/ladies night. If you like 80s music and think you’ll be listening to a steady stream of classics and loud enough for you to want to shimmy, think again. Not asking for blaring music, but it just wasn’t loud enough. FYI additonally they do have one of those touch tones juke boxes and it takes plastic. Drinks: they do have a cocktail menu(for those who enjoy something different) which is a plus, and during the happy hour drinks are good, strong, and cheap.

This is a nice bar. Great patio. Clean. Good beer. And not terribly expensive. It’s pretty Irish like most people have said they’re a bunch of Irish people there.

I enjoyed this Irish pub! Nice atmosphere inside and out. There is a jukebox inside that you can control with an app on your phone. Friendly and attentive wait staff. As far as food goes, there is not a huge selection and I don’t believe they always serve food. I have had the chicken curry and the Guinness beef stew. Both were delicious and reasonably priced! Great place to enjoy a Guinness!

Great drink selection and the cleanest bar in the area. I love that the bartenders pay attention and can actually carry on a conversation when they aren’t too busy. Plenty of outdoor space for spring and Autumn days, but always room inside for those hot summer days. I love that’s there’s always something going on, yet never TOO busy to carry on a conversation. 5 stars all around. I wouldn’t and couldn’t trust a negative review

Live life long enough and a few things start to become self evident. 1. TREATOTHERSASYOUWOULDHAVETHEMTREATYOU&YOUWILLBEHAPPIERFORITINTHELONGRUN2. A POSITIVEATTITUDEGOES A LONGWAY3. WINEMAKESEVERYTHINGBETTER {OK, maybe not that last one for some ~giggles} But seriously, I must explain the reason for this updated review in a way which should open the eyes of CURRENT service/industry folks from a former service/industry person. Your efforts, when actually put forth, goes such a long way. A glance and a genuine, «I’ll be right with you» is important to most people. Not, I’M BUSYRIGHTNOW, GIMME A SEC, and then you go chit chat it up with your friends —((CUSTSVCFAIL)) — I digress… I love this bar for sooooo many reasons — Location is awesome, the jukebox, the super selection of wines and beers, the nights there’s food rocks So Hard, the patio is über sexy, it’s clean and well run… omg, my fave place to refer people to when they’re just in town for work and yes! I have met really interesting and brilliant people here over the last couple years. Although I don’t frequent often, I’d like to continue to patronize for a very long time. That actually matters to me the most… a long time neighbor rather than a regular drop-in only until the next place lures you in. Not my style. Be well… See you later Pim. I will return smiling — as usual. #mwaaah

This is our new go-to for after work drinks. Bartenders are great and there’s always a friendly, international crowd.

Great beer, friendly red head bartender. Treated me great. I was lucky the food staff came in. Pork chops with balsamic reduction were excellent as well as the mashes potatoes with skin. Also has jukebox which you can control with phone from touch tunes.

Stopped by this place because of the high reviews. Its a new place so it looks great. Nice outdoor area and an upstairs section for chillin. Got the feeling its a bar for regulars and I was disappointed with the lack of craft beer. Service was average. Detected a slight attitude from one of the staff. If people are blown away by the service they must be going to some pretty crappy places. Overall I was not impressed and felt either Unilocalers are helping their friends or they got this one wrong. If you are in the area… well there are better places to go. I wont go back.

I was going to give 3 stars because it’s not really a memorable bar and it’s confusing where it begins and where it ends but they do have free parking which I always appreciate and you’re close to the bayou trails so if you’re going for a walk and want to stop by for a drink when the weather is nice, it’s not bad. I also love their ginger beer thing(Russian something) with the copper cup. I think it would help them to kind of define where one can walk with the alcohol and where one can’t because it’s confusing and the owner seems a bit jumpy and freaks out if he sees someone going a few feet away from the door. I’m not sure what the TABC rules are, but apparently his sidewalk is ok as he has chairs, but the other side of the sidewalk is not ok because there are no chairs, but it still is in front of the bar. Maybe put a velvet rope to define the space. Has to be velvet.

A pseudo Irish bar apparently opened by an Irish immigrant. This place opened several months ago, and I have been a fan. If not a particularly memorable or authentic bar, they are a fun spot with incredibly friendly service. The first time I walked in you could literally smell the new varnish and paint. A long central bar with some pub games to the right. A unique two floor patio to the left. Really relaxed, and the bartenders always make you feel incredibly welcome. Beer selection is mostly a Silver Eagle account. Which means lots of Saint Arnold, Karbach, Goose Island and AB-Inbev. Though they do consistently carry Odell’s 90 Shilling which is good. When they first opened they had a keg of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout. Which was awesome, but probably a one time thing. Mostly just the standards, and there is nothing wrong with that. They have a few good Scotches, and Irish Whiskey’s. Though not a world beater in either. Overall, a place I enjoy because of the really personable service, a few local beers, and the relaxed… though contrived atmosphere. Not much else here, I wish they could do a bad as fish fry, or something similar. Really I don’t think«Irish Pub» when I visit. Just a decent bar. Which is A-OK with me.
