Ashley scored again. She changed the channel to appease the crowd while honoring the politically junkies at the same time. No matter how aggressive the crowd gets she keeps her composure.
Obnoxious baseball freak at the bar. She is never frazzled.
Now that is what is called «balls.»
Leave the Lone Ranger in control long at the remote and he is control the night. Shut him down and he will be lost in translation.
The house is empty due to his unfiltered control.
How does anyone have that skill set to keep the entire rowdy bar in order?
She does it with sense and sensibilities.

We went on a quiet Saturday night but still had a great experience. The bartender was nice and the food we ordered, hot wings and fries were excellent. The fries were salted perfectly and were nice and hot. The hot wings were excellent and the accompanying ranch dressing was wonderful as well. Good strong alcoholic drinks as well as excellent pricing really allows for an overall good time here. Will be coming back to the Porch Swing Pub soon and would recommend it to anyone.

One word. Terrible. Don’t watch football here. No respect for Texans fans. They should put a sign in the door to turn away true Houstonians.
The bartender poured the wrong beer and insisted he sent the right one… then they wanted to charge for it anyway! Wow.

Great for hanging out for drinks on the patio. Their Frozen Moon (Blue Moon beer with some sort of frozen mix) is great on a hot Houston day. The food menu changed recently and hasn’t been spectacular the last few times we’ve visited. Service can be slow at tables and outside but the bar staff is on top of it.

Great place for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon just make sure you get a place in the shade if you sit outside. And avoid the tables directly under the speakers since they tend to play the music a little loud. Dogs are welcome and they provide drinking bowls and fresh water. Decent beer selection too.

Stopped in again for some hot wings with a friend. Very good wings. Hot is pretty dam hot.
Nice outside patio seating.
My friend got hot pickles so I tried a few of those. They were tasty.
Real nice place to kick back have a cold one and get some great food. There Philly cheese steaks are really good as well

Don’t waste your time. Houston is full of fantastic casual patios. This isn’t one of them. Service is extremely slow. Wasn’t full at all and couldn’t get a waitress. Ordered crawfish and it took an hour to come out. The crawfish were extremely low quality. My first ever 1 star review.

A great outdoor environment with a good variety of music. Domestic beers are over priced though. We had crawfish and menu food, everyone seemed pleased! Would go back again!

I only go during crawfish season. It gets packed on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Regular menu is meh … nothing to write home about. Good selection of beers.
Crawfish range from small to medium size, good seasoning and melted butter is available.
Good service.

This place is great for none other than day drinking on the patio. I like to get my car washed next door and come here for a drink while I wait.
Try the frozen blue moon slushies!
Trivia on Tuesday night here is fun.

This is a great bar to come watch the game at. There are tons of TVs and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I especially enjoy being able to bring my dog to the outdoor patio. If the weather isn’t great, I’ll dip inside for some billiards or darts. There is normally a pretty diverse (and mostly friendly) crowd here.
The food is good although I’ve only had a few things here (wings, French fries and a burger or two).
There is normally a decent selection of beer though not as many as a draft house.

Really enjoyed coming here. I guess all things come to an end.
My usual waitress was walking out as we walked in. Place wasn’t real busy. Ordered burgers which they couldn’t seem to get to us. Blame was placed from one employee to another.
I understand things sometimes happen but it all didn’t seem to add up. Mgr tried to send order of burgers home in a to go container.
Might of been a bad day on my part.
Oh well.

We had a great time here and I could bring my baby girl! Its good that we have a place where we don’t have to leave her home alone. Food was okay, not amazingMaybe I’ll try something better next time. Service is very very slow, but she was really amicable and efficient. There were only two waitresses to a packed outside area so I couldn’t really blame her. Its a very chill place, people are not presumptions (only a couple haha) Some crazy contraption pulled up where it was a bar and people pedal the whole thing, it was crazy and we neded up having fun that night. They bring you a doggie bowl with water for your pet. We will be back. Drinks were a good pour, I always appreciate that from a bar.

Great seasonal Texas craft beer draft selection. Always a win in my book! Plenty of TVs and offers a fun atmosphere for game day.

Love this place. I’ve been here a few times. It has a really chill vibe. Lots of tvs for game watching. Pool, darts, etc. the outdoor patio is a GREAT spot in a great neighborhood. Love the frozen moons. Parking can get a little crammed on busy days, but not a big deal. The servers and bartenders were all awesome. Will be back.
Haven’t tried the food, but I hear it’s decent.

Quicktips: Good food and drinks at decent prices. Trivia night on Wednesdays is pretty fun. They have six rounds of trivia starting at 7:30. Ugh, we almost got all the questions to «TV Dads» category, but who the heck can remember the tool company that sponsored Tim Taylor’s show Tool Time on Home Improvement?! Get there early during the summer as indoor seats go quickly and it can get hot outside.
Food: We got the heart attack platter aka the sampler platter. It comes with corn dogs, fried pickles, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers. Obviously, that wasn’t enough for our drunk group of four, so we also ordered the cheese fries and don’t regret anything. Their signature frozen blue moon was also delicious (frozen screwdriver and blue moon). They also have BBQ on Wednesday nights. However, I saw the grill guy drop his spatula onto the dirty floor, pick it up and continue to cook, so I passed on the BBQ.
Ambiance: Fun time. Enjoy beer/​drinks with your friends on a beautiful day. Dogs are also welcome!
Service: Good service, but a bit slow on a Wednesday night.

This is my mother’s favorite spot. The secret is their Frozen Blue Moon beer. She goes there and has a snack of jalapeño poppers.
I my self don’t love it but I agree with on those two menu items. Their wings aren’t bad either but they’re mostly snacks, bar food, and bar! You can bring your pups here too out on the porch as you watch the daily college kids ride the bar cycle around the neighborhood.
I’ve never been able to eat an actually meal here because they’re always out of menu items. They only serve snacks, no actual meals, their drink variations are lacking. So for that I’m pretty sad. Other than that it’s a fair place to sit, enjoy the sun, watch a game, or do nothing at all.

Loud on nice weekend days. Smoke blowing allover if you are on the porch. Dog bowls were available but didn’t look like they’d been cleaned in awhile. The people were all nice and seemed like they were having a fun Sunday afternoon.
The drinks were good but not on any special price and the bar food is subpar. I’d hangout here but won’t say it’s a favorite.
