4 stars because in a pretty awesome location. You can see the skyline and its right across the Toyota center! COOL, even tho I’m not a rocket fan. Well first thing is first, this place is not for kids, intense basketball players reside here. They have water fountains which is pretty cool and it’s just a cool park in all. You can easily get here from the metro.

This «park» is located across Toyota Center. There are steps leading down to the open basketball court. It is a large, open area in which you can also sit on the periphery steps and watch a basketball game or two. At the corner of the park, there are five Heritage lanterns that light up at night. They vary in height but are very beautiful when lit. It’s a nice place to take fun, casual pictures. The colors of the lights change at regular intervals and brings about a beautiful effect. There’s really not much to this park except for the basketball court which is set below street level. Really more for those wanting to get a game or two in while in the area.

Stopped by here yesterday to get some cardio in. I ended up playing a pick up game with some guys on the opposite end of the court. The rims are a little loose, but the goals and court are in pretty good condition.
If you’re not comfortable with street ball crowds, this may not be the best place for you to come. There were a few kids playing on the opposite end, but I probably would take my kids to a more child-​friendly park.
This court is close to my place, so I’ll be back in the future. Hopefully it won’t be as crowded on my next visit.

Outdoors basketball beside the Toyota Center in a nice setting. Gotta like it.
