Pizza is ok. The dine in service is so slow. They are so slow. If you’re in a rush don’t go here. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and water. They cooked delivery ordered before ours. Who does that. The waitress said our order finally went in. But we didn’t want it any long because we were no longer hungry. As far as their delivery service, in the past we had so many issues. We always ordered 2 pepperoni pizza, but we always got wrong stuff. Once we got olives only, then we got everything. They would bring us another pizza but it would take forever. Over an hour to fix their mistakes. The mistakes got to bad, management was notified. I’ll probably never go back her because the service all around is horrendous’n

So disappointed about the tomato basil soup :(tomato basil is fav soup ever and so far this has been the worse version I’ve tried. It’s very clumpy to where it’s almost like a dip :(maybe the pizza is better

Have changed their hours without notice or updating anything other than the hours on the door! So rude! I drove a long distance for some pizza!

I love this place, especially I love vegetable pizza with fresh spinach, white onions, green bell peppers, mushrooms, olives… also it is not too salty and garlic flavor is so good.

Saturday night sitting outside. Enjoying the weather and the view. However, stumped by cigarette smoke. They put ashtrays on the tables. I thought Houston bans cigarette in restaurant and bar venues. Inside is so hot and feel like in a smoke house. Stinks! Waiter is slow. Forgetful. Unthoughtful. Would not return or recommend. Great place but wrong execution. Now I don’t wonder why people order takeouts instead of dining in. From: «Smoking is prohibited outdoors within 25 feet of building entrance and exit doors, wheelchair ramps serving the door, operable windows and air-conditioner intake vents.

Uhh. I don’t know what’s up with these crappy reviews but I am really digging this pizza! It’s my first time at any Russo’s Pizza and it is delicious. It’s very flavorful. Our waitress was cool too!

I love pizza! I didn’t know bad pizza existed. This was a delivery. I must say the taste was just bad and it was soooooooooooo greasy. I was not fond of the smell. I feel like it was also undercooked. I was only able to eat a few bites and my stomach started to hurt. This place is definitely not on our Pizza list.

Customer service is not professional, I called them to report that an employee is taking extra tips when ever I order… And they do not care. I just wanted them to know. I will just never order from this store again. This is not the first time the delivery guy change my tip into a larger one. This happen to me and my co worker. Smh

Went there to pickup a slice of pizza and they only had one size, which was huge! :(delicious as always though.

I ordered the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo yesterday for dinner. I went with the delivery option through Eat24/Yelp. It took the full 60 minutes estimated which was fine because the food came hot and it was absolutely delicious. I will say I have eaten-in at this restaurant several times. The dining in experience left a lot to be desired. The servers always seemed otherwise engaged in conversations with kitchen staff and not very attentive to the tables. I know now I will just exercise my right to delivery. I was much happier to serve my self from the comfort of my own home.

NOTE — This is a review for their customer service only, not the food. We received a bunch of coupons in the mail so we decided to try this place out. We wanted to use the«$ 12.95 for a large double pepperoni» coupon but thought it might be overloaded with pepperoni, so we asked the girl if we can use the coupon and just get a regular single amount of pepperoni and not double pepperoni. The girl on the phone Monica was extremely rude and said she cannot honor our request. I mean we just asked them to reduce the quantity of pepperoni, we were not making any unreasonable demands or substitutions. Very unprofessional in their attitude and I would not recommend this place to anyone until they learn the basic customer service skills.

Convenient, love the pizza, slices are big and don’t feel like it’s all dough. I won’t eat pizza anywhere else

Spent $ 40 and waited 45 minutes for burnt pizza and burnt garlic knots. The marinara sauce was runny and tasted like canned tomato sauce. I ordered a chocolate Italian dessert and received a regular Italian slice of pie. Horrible food!

I was a bit skeptical after reading a lot of average reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the pizza was great although we just ordered a cheese pizza. Definitely don’t think it is all about size here as some reviews suggest. Pizza had a good crunch, cheese was good, nothing to complain about here. Kids loved it also.

Normally, I LOVE New York Pizzeria. I’ve had it here and at the Meyerland location on multiple occasions. BUT this location(it seems) has maybe the slowest service I’ve experienced over the last couple of weeks. I’ll normally pick up lunch for my boyfriend if I have time. On one occasion, it took the cashier 10 minutes to just take my order since she didn’t know how to work the register or something and then had to wait 20 minutes for the employees to realize my food had been ready for 10 and was just sitting on the counter. On another occasion, I called in my order around 11:10AM to ensure I could pick it up on the way to my boyfriend’s office since they had promised a 10 – 15 minute wait. I arrived around 11:30AM and saw a to-go bag sitting on the counter. After I paid, I waited for the employees to bring out my food since it was SITTINGRIGHTTHERE, but they didn’t even notice I had been waiting until 11:40AM. I didn’t receive my food and leave until about 11:50AM. All in all, the lunch special is a great value for a giant slice of pizza, soup, and focaccia. BUT in the instances when my food had been sitting out, the temperature of the pizza obviously showed that it had been sitting for a long period of time. I will probably return, but felt the need to let others know how upsetting it is to physically SEE your food ready and not receive it. I LOVENY Pizzeria, but would also love for the service to be infinity times better.

Had this place for lunch on a Monday, and luckily, it wasn’t super crowded like other restaurants in the area during this typical time. I ordered the spaghetti w/meatballs off their lunch menu, and it came with bread and a side house salad. For being less than $ 10 total, this was a pretty good lunch. Pros: –Price Cons: –Spaghetti isn’t the best tasting of all time, but it’s worth it for the value

It’s all about the size here. I had a large slice of cheese and a large slice chicken rustica. I enjoy large sized portions of food but I really enjoy properly cooked food. My slice of cheese pizza was overlooked and a bit dry in certain areas of the slice which left desiring more of what I tasted in the areas that were not overcooked. My slice of chicken rustica had a much better taste and was better prepared. Overall I enjoyed the food with the exception of my partially overcooked cheese pizza. The ambience is warm and the rather low key so if you’re looking for a place to eat and enjoy warm conversation; this is your place. Enjoy

Ugh, I just ordered a small pizza from Russo’s using GrubHub. I order pretty regularly from Russo’s using GrubHub out of desperation but this time I have finally had enough. Delivery always takes an obscene amount of time. Today my pizza was cold and congealed. I ate one slice because I’m starving but it wasn’t good. I just paid $ 13 plus tip for this hunk of cold bread and cheese. I’m pissed. Don’t order from here unless you are eating in or picking up.

I love GrubHub but I really wish I would have listened to the reviews and not ordered delivery from Russo’s New York Pizzeria. Pizza and Chinese food get really old because they pretty much hold the monopoly on delivery so I was excited that Russo’s offered something OTHER than pizza! That excitement quickly dwindled when I tasted the cold Tortellini Carbonara and saw the state that it was in. First of all, it was a very small portion for almost 12 $ and was cold to the touch when it arrived. It was in a small heap inside the to-go box and I was amazed that they expected this to fill an adult’s stomach. This was a 8 $ meal. The Tortellini was flavorless but the large chunks of bacon and onions were a nice touch to the delicious creamy sauce. The garlic bread was basically a hoagie with butter and garlic seasoning on top. I was expecting a bit more for an Italian restaurant/delivery service. It was also cold and had definitely been sitting around for a bit before it was delivered. I ordered a slice of carrot cake but we received a phone call telling us they were out and asked us if we wanted Italian Crème Cake instead. What we received instead, however, was a Red Velvet Cake. It was good, but not what we ordered. The delivery wasn’t fast, but wasn’t slow either. It made it here about 10 minutes before the 1 and 10 minute window was up. The driver was friendly enough but I can’t look past cold food and small portions for a 32 $ price tag. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend and I won’t be back.

Russo’s gets a solid 3 from me. We dined in a month or so ago and ordered in delivery today. Dining in was definitely better overall. Also a note: they said they’d take 45 minutes for delivery and almost doubled that. Part of the reason waiting for delivery is a problem is that some of the food gets cold and just not as appetizing, which is why I’m giving their calamari(2⁄5), as it was kinda chewy, cold, and just didn’t have much flavor. This all makes sense if it was cooked an hour ago and was just waiting there. I’d be willing to try it again if I was dining in, but I wouldn’t order it again for delivery. Pizza was a(3⁄5) maybe closer to a 3.5. The pizza was still warm and my boyfriend got the Pizza Rustic I believe and we both thought that was good. I got the Veggie Supreme and was kinda surprised. It had mostly artichoke hearts and spinach but had very little of anything else. With a name like that, I kind of assumed it would have mushrooms and broccoli and all sorts of vegetables. I guess I could’ve read the ingredients more closely, but I know for next time. We’d definitely get the pizza again for a lazy weeknight when we don’t want to go out. Free delivery is great too.
