Delicious! Very friendly staff and wonderful meal. Read the reviews and decided to stop. Wasn’t disappointed!

This place is very good. The food and service is spectacular. It’s only a few blocks away from the galleria. The food has a special flavor — that NOT from a chain restaurant. Try the tiramisu(all desserts are great) but tiramisu is my favorite.

Easily the best family run restaurant on Westheimer and perhaps even all of Houston. This place is a hidden gem, I have been coming to this location for nearly twenty years. I have never had a bad meal or come across poor or bad food or bad staff or bad attitude. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Pamper yourself, give your money a rest and visit this place. I promise you won’t leave disappointed.

Our favorite go to restaurant for the whole family. I love their lasagna. It’s the best in town!

I don’t live in Houston but the two days I was in town; we are here both days. It was SO good &+ fresh. The two main guys that worked here made it a point to talk to us which was really nice. Also, we came back again a month later(2hr drive) just to eat here for dinner. the two guys welcomed us back. so good

I’ve been coming here for a over a decade sporadically. Some things have changed over the years, and others have not. Cute, small restaurant with delicious Italian food. Here are the pros: 1) Great Galleria location, parking is plentiful after 5pm, except on Saturday nights 2) Great menu — lots of choices to pick from and the prices are reasonable. Portions of food are right for the money. 3) Wine — The list has various selections, most of the brands I don’t recognize. However, they have BYOB policy. It’s $ 5 corkage fee(regardless of how many glasses you request). I come here once a month with my girlfriends and we do a mini-wine tasting and with our food. 4) Food Quality — fresh, quick and even at peak times, it’s pretty fast. Everything I’ve ever had tasted like it’s supposed, to. The food is very consistent. And the portions are not gigantic, but some of the dishes are served family style. Here the cons: 1) Small restaurant — it’s intimate and sometimes you could hear other people’s conversations. 2) Service — Service could be better. The last two times I went, the waiter got our orders mixed up and I had about three different waiters serving us at one time. Maybe that’s their system? Not sure, regardless, we were taken care of. 3) Upcharge for little of everything — but I am guessing it’s the cost of food prices. 4) Groups — It’s not good for groups over 10 and the Sugar Land location has a wine room. This location does not. This should be a 3 ½ review but I am going to round up. I like coming here for lunch/dinner and it’s casual enough for me to wear flip flops and my hair in pigtails, and I could careless who saw me.

The food is very good with the exception of the weird little breadstick things they give you before you order. They are very hard. Other than that all the food was great and very well done. The service was impeccable so that is always nice. This place lost a star for me only because of the atmosphere. The food and service are both very upscale but the interior décor is reminiscent of a Schlotzky’s. It just doesn’t match up with the impressiveness of the food and service. Prices are very reasonable. I would probably go back if I was in the area but wouldn’t go out of my way simply because the lack of ambiance takes from the experience in my opinion.

These guys were wonderful in making my stranded in the rain experience pleasant. I had the veal parmesan, which was enough for two. They take direction well if you have food allergies, and all of the servers helped everyone out. The house manager stayed on top of making sure the orders were correct. Good prices, easy access. Two thumbs up

Service was great .but is really average and some dishes are overpriced. Won’t go back. Had caprese salad that was good but main dish which was pasta with crusted red snapper was flavorless. I got tiramisu for desert and was less than average.

I came with a couple of friends to celebrate a new chapter in our life! We were delightfully surprised! The server provided excellent service and great recommendations. He treated us like«regulars»! I got the snapper special which was divine. My boyfriend got a chicken dish which wasn’t overly cooked and full of flavor. The wine menu isn’t overly priced with some decent options

First, very small patio. If you want to sit outside, there are only four tables, so if the weather is nice your options are limited. We had the ceaser salads to start, they were small and the dressing was very thick and almost too mayonnaise-y. My friend had the maciotti with meat sauce, which was very good, well flavored and a little sweet. I had the risotto and salmon special, which was good but slightly bland. We had their riesling with dinner, which was light and sweet, and $ 23 for the bottle, so not too pricey. The service was prompt at the beginning, but at the end of the meal our mouths were watering to try the dessert pizza, but when we asked to see the menu, our server stopped coming outside. We kept looking in the restaurant trying to get someone’s attention. Both the host and busser saw us, but didn’t come outside to check on us. By the time our server came back with the dessert tray, we were a little tired of waiting and asked for the bill instead. Generally a decent dinner, I would probably choose a pasta dish off the regular menu. Hope fully next time we can see the dessert tray a little quicker and get a chance to try something to bring the rating up!

1st Unilocal review! This meal was so good, I felt like I had to tell someone. The Snapper special may be the best meal I have had on our golf trips!

Absolutely wonderful food and the service is always great. Waiters are prompt, friendly, attentive and your glass never has a chance to be empty. Food is served quickly, even at peak times. We eat here fairly often and it is consistently delicious… their daily specials are almost always a hit and we only order off the menu maybe 30% of the time as a result. Their alfredo sauce is phenomenal and is essentially a guarantee that any dish it’s on will be amazing. Their appetizer selection is kind of meh(that’s why they lost a star for me), but everything else is incredible. The bruschetta is good but not amazing, the other options aren’t terribly tempting. Patio seating is nice and allows dogs! According to GrubHub they deliver, but we always like dining in because of how great the dining experience is. Despite being in a fairly busy shopping center, parking is always easy.

I’m not too sure of what I think of this place, though I know I won’t be ordering the pepper pasta again. Quaint, but located on the very busy street of Westheimer; with a smallish square dining room. Décor was average at best, the strange Italian Movie Posters for American Movies did have me scratching my head, certainly not very Italian. Caesar salad was pretty darn good, breadsticks if that’s what you want to call these stale pieces of bread the size of a fast food straw were awful — I’d take the mediocre breadsticks offered at any olive garden over these. Now the entrée, ordered from the lunch menu sounded good mix of three peppers, spicy meatballs, over fettuccine alfredo; simple sounded pretty good. First off there were no peppers to be found, meatballs were bland and loaded with fillers no spiciness whatsoever, strange super chewy sundried tomatoes, and the heaviest goopy fettuccine I’ve ever had. Had me picking out the vegetables and trying my best to avoid this grossly over sauced and way way too heavy sauced pasta. Condimente! NOTGLOOPYHEAVYSAUCEPLEASE! Anyway may have been a fluke, but I did not like my food at all, might try something else next time like the chop marsala. What little I did eat had me bloated and overly full; and given the number of reputable(read: good) Italian restaurants in the area I’ll likely just go elsewhere in the future.

My bf and my friends had a double date for Saturday dinner. First time going here, saw they had BYOB, dinner was so delicious, service was good and quick. Pasta is so yummy, would definitely come back.

Wonderful. Food, service, and atmosphere were all charming at this neighborhood Italian place. Geeat experience even on a Friday night. They clearly understand customer service; we’ll be back.

BYOB. $ 7.50 cork fee. Still better price to BYOB than buy small selection they have. We love this part! Had appetizer, house salad. Wife had snapper special w lemon cream sauce and shrimp. 3.5 out of 5. I had veal w shrimp. Came w side of pasta. 4 of 5 stars. Informal place, great prices and food. Relaxed and near galleria and hotels. In a strip mall. We will go back!

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate my birthday this past Thursday. Being unfamiliar with the area, I just went to the Italian restaurant closest to my hotel. I definitely lucked out. This restaurant does not disappoint. The restaurant is set inside a mini-mall which put me off at first. When we walked in the door, we noticed they had a display of amazing desserts. The hostess was very friendly. We were seated immediately. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. We never had to ask for a refill. He gave us updates on when the appetizers & entrees would be out even though it didn’t take long at all. The bruschetta was so simple and well done. My fettucine alfredo was flavorful and savory. The portions were bigger than I expected. I only wish I had left room for dessert. We will definitely be making a visit on our next trip to Houston!

Pros: Great breadsticks, all the food was really good, parking was easy, and the prices were reasonable $ 9 – 14 a plate. Cons: Very busy and on a busy street, so can be a pain to get there.
