Grabbed baked goods from this place a couple of times from Agora, Inversion and the Rice Coffeehouse. Haven’t had the chance to try some of this coveted goods but I will say, the Everything Bar is everything. I’ve actually been stressing-eating their cookies and this bar during finals week and I don’t even feel guilty. The bar is a perfect blend of chewy, chocolate-y and wholesome. Love. Also got the dark chocolate cookie but I really didn’t like it. Not sure if I just got unlucky because everyone else seems to love their cookies. My cookie was dry, tasteless and honestly one of the worst ones I’ve had. However, I have a major sweet tooth and will be trying out more of their goods anyway because what’s better than eating sweet healthy things?

And they said being vegan was hard. HA! They make the absolute BEST cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had! Seriously. Their cinnamon rolls are just one out of the many things they offer. Honestly, you wouldn’t even know their offerings were vegan. They’re really nice and personable too. Their products can be found at various locations(i.e. whole foods). I’d definitely suggest giving them a taste… unless you’re watching your calories, then… I’d sneak a taste in anyway!

This is just where they make them! NOT A STORE. I walked in and they said it happens like once a week. Maybe they should consider opening a store. I’m not sure what to review because I haven’t tried it but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Although I have had their desserts before, last week was the first time I had the chance to drop by their bakery. You know vegan desserts from a place are scrumptious when my carnivore sibling brags about how good their treats are. Having a few mins to spare and looking for a perfect gift to give someone, I thought to drop by. As I near the bakery, I have a hard time understanding my Google map instructions. If this happens to you, just remember that the place has a gate around it on the right side of the one-way street. This should have given me a clue that this is not a place to hang out. Good thing that I was not planning to. As I walked in, I was created by someone who asked me if I had made an order? I said no. I was advised to make a pre-order next time because they don’t always have extra cookies, cinnamon buns, or muffins. I took a look at what they had, chose the items I wanted and paid my bill. Not bad at all. What I ordered were some excellent sweets; chocolate chip cookies, dark chocolate cookies, a cinnamon bun, and a pecan bran muffin. This was the first chocolate chip cookie I have had in months and it was excellent. So was the dark chocolate cookie. This was my first time eating a cinnamon bun without mucus clogging my nasal passage. Althought the muffin was the least sweet of all, I also enjoyed it’s subtle taste. This should be your go-to shop for sweets. Your health and your taste buds Will thank me. You’re welcome.

Scrumptious vegan baked goods. I didn’t even think to mention the price until I saw some of the other posts here; the food is so good the price is not even a consideration for me, and don’t even get me started on the cinnamon rolls as big as your head! I never thought I would be able to indulge like this as a vegan.

I just tried the carrot cake through Greenling and it is DIVINE! Delicious! So good! Best part is it’s gluten free(not that I’m a die hard gluten free fan), and it’s really good! I’ve tried other gluten free bakery items and most are dry and not very tasty. My 4 year old and husband agrees on how good the cake is. It’s very light and moist. I’ll have to try other items from this bakery. I’m sure it’ll be just as good.

Mmm, this place is heaven on earth! Being vegan and a sweets lover, it doesn’t get better than this. Everything here is delicious, especially the cinnamon rolls… holy moly talk about good. All the good, without the guilt and vegan too! Highly recommended!

Update 11÷3÷12: I have now also had the pumpkin kolache and it was IN.SANE. OH. YES. I finally tried Sinfull Bakery this morning at the Farmers Market. They had samples for just about everything. I first tried the Everything Bar(like a wayy more delicious, softy and chewy Nature’s Valley bar). I ended up buying a Vegetable Pot Pie, Everything Bar(obviously) and a Pumpkin Cheesecake Mini Loaf. So far, everything I’ve had from Sinfull is sweet, gooey perfection. I love that they use lots of healthy ingredients like oats, fruit, nuts and flax. Give ‘em a try next time your at Saturday Farmers Market!

Smoothie King carries the Sinful Bakery’s Everything Bar. It is mind-boggling delicious — you won’t even know that it is vegan.

5 stars x 20! My boyfriend surprised me at the Farmer’s Market for my birthday today. He said he wanted to pick up some fresh veggies and fruit, but to my surprise he just wanted to pick up a vegan pumpkin cream cheese pie! He’s absolutely pure evil. Using my sweet tooth against me. I love cheesecake. I love pumpkin. So this was just a home run all the way. The consistency of the pie is so creamy, pumpkin-y, and just flat out delicious. You can’t even tell that it’s vegan!(Well at least to me, I don’t eat a lot of milk products nowadays) It’s really nice they take orders, and you can pick it up at the farmer’s market rather than their location. Due to his crazy week schedule, he was never able to pick it up before they closed. This made it a little more fun. They have the option to sweeten with agave nectar, and the option to make it gluten free! I will def use sinfull for my next party/indulgence!

I stumbled on the Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies at Sugar Land Farmers Market and tried a free sample. Delicious! Very good for a dairy-free(vegan), gluten-free cookie. I bought all they had on hand and froze them. I hate that they come in packages of two because it’s darn near impossible to eat one and not eat the second one. So good! Unfortunately, I’ll be passing them up this coming weekend and will only be purchasing from them once a month or so – because if it’s in my house, it’s not going to last long! Cookies might seem a little pricey, but cooking gluten-free is not cheap(once you purchase the different gluten-free flours to come up with your gluten-free blend), so I think the cookies are very reasonably priced, considering.

Found a sinfull cookie at Agora in Montrose Houston and I’m in love. All cookie without the grease coating left in your mouth after and without the stale butter aftertaste. Yup, all vegan. I also recommend the Everything Bar. I can’t foresee anyone regretting it.

I don’t mind all this vegan jazz in the way of baked goods, but I just want to see them attempt a pound cake. We are in a generation where yes, we understand that the Paleolithic humans did not eat flour. And, so many people claim that eggs are bad for cholesterol, and drinking milk just seems downright unnatural – breast-based nutrition for a bovine creature. But, we are close enough to the 50’s to where we know that America as a whole better be eating pie and cake. So, what happens when this new age still wants to eat baked goods but without eggs, butter, or milk? More food for though: if you are at a progressive coffee shop in any metropolitan, large city, you will undoubtedly find yourself paying a premium for whatever baked goods they have, i.e. healthy, vegan, gluten-free, etc. On the plus side, these starches, intended to soak up the caffeinated beverage in your stomach, are local. On the opposite hand, I am not much in the way of a «trendy» eater. Yeah, I will go for the occasional food truck or vegetarian-friendly restaurant, both of which seem to be hot right now, but as for the cool idea of following alongside with people claiming to be gluten intolerant, I find it to be hogwash… for 99% of the people that can actually consume the protein formed when the rubber hits the road or flour hits water. I’ll be honest, though. The double chocolate chip was pretty awesome. It was heavy on chocolate flavor and not super sweet – how in the world can you live without milk or eggs or butter? If you eat these, you can surely survive on calories alone. Additionally, I don’t know what the heck this pea protein is, but I guess it provides some of that«non-sinful» character. By that I mean, it is surely a healthy component.

I off and on eat these delectable goodies. We first saw sinful at the eastside farmers market. We bought cinnamon rolls and a kolache. The cinnamon rolls are delicious and I love that they are homemade. We bought a dozen for an event and they went over very well and sinful was very responsive. Now that they are baking for whole foods and other vendors around Houston I’m not sure how good their turnover is. I now randomly buy the kolaches at whole foods but they are always hidden :-(The cookies are pretty good too but not my favourite vegan cookie I’ve ever had. I’m not super into the breadloaf but that is more so a preference… I’m just not into it. Now only if they made vegan baked donuts-that would be amazing. Since I haven’t found one in Houston yet.

I really like to give this place 4 stars or even 5. However… We’ve been looking for some good cinnamon rolls for months now. SInfull Bakery came out to the Sugar Land Farmer’s Market selling cinnamon rolls. The rolls were big and came with or without pecans. There’s nothing better than good homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. The following morning we ate the cinnamon rolls for breakfast. They tasted very good. Not too much sweetness to make it too rich. They had just the right amount of sugar and cinnamon. While we were eating the rolls, two of us pulled out strands of hair. I was first. The 4″ blondish hair was deep inside the roll. My hair is cut a lot shorter and is gray. My daughter also found a hair. Same thing, but in a different roll. I assume the bakers don’t wear hair nets because this hair was in the middle of the roll. I started questioning what else does this cinnamon roll have in it. The rolls are good. Not Cinnabon good, but are a close second. They are certainly more healthier for you if a cinnamon roll can be classified as that. The search continues.

Picked up a mini loaf of banana nuts sweet bread from Whole Foods on Woodway near Voss. Nothing really spectacular; just soft and yummy :)

I picked up the pumpkin and cream cheese bread from Central Market for $ 6.49. Yes it is a rather modest little loaf and you might wonder whether it’s worth the $ 6.49. Sure it’s natural, organic, and vegan, but $ 7 is a bit steep for a shy little dessert bread of any kind. Seriously though — worth it. Now I concede to the possibility that my loaf probably wasn’t at its freshest peak as it was sitting isolated-ly with two other loaves and couple of cookies in the pastry refrigerator. But I had read of Sinfull Bakery’s vegan goodies(on Unilocal actually) and despite not especially desiring desserty bread of any kind(I don’t have much of a sweet tooth), I couldn’t resist because who knows when the next time I’ll encounter Sinfull again? Anyway, it’s kind of great. Really soft, creamy bread stuff! It almost melts in your mouth, without actually being soggy. The pumpkin notes are fairly evident — the spices and fragrant pumpkin essence. The cream cheese seems like it’d be mostly decorative as shallow swirls atop the loaf, but you can actually discern a little bit of decadent vegan cream cheese fluff in the sharper pumpkin-associated flavors(I might be making that part up, by the way). I really nice balance all in all. I will admit that this is more a crumbly cake than a bread, so if that’s not your thing… I get the feeling that this was probably fairly caloric(because it’s tasty), so don’t be misled that the«Sinfull» somehow ironically speaks to whether it’s diet-friendly. Along with the farmer’s market and Central Market, Sinfull pastries can also be found at Onion Creek.

Um, did I really just pay $ 4 for a single kolache? This was the question I asked myself when I got back to my car and realized that yes, I’d plunked down an entire $ 4 for one pillowy vegan treat. Don’t get me wrong, the kolache was fairly tasty, filled with sweetened arrowroot as a cream cheese substitute and strawberry jam. But when I can pick up an entire bag of(albeit lard-laden) Mexican pastries for an equivalent amount, I’m hesitant to repeat the experience. Sinfull Bakery offers a variety of vegan sweets and treats, including bars, cupcakes, cookies and sweetbreads. Check their website for an up-to-date list of where Sinfull is selling their delectable goods. I stopped in at their stall at the Urban Harvest Farmers’ Market, which boasted a dizzying array of samples – but thanks to my late-in-the-day arrival, my actual purchasing options were limited. I was looking for a hostess gift to ship to Missouri for a few Kansas Citians, and considered buying a few yummy PB cookies to send along, but at $ 8 for four average-sized cookies I balked before the money left my hands. It’s simply too much money for what you get, unfortunately. I’m in love with the concept, and I might check the stall out again at a later date. The price point is just a tick too high for me to really get behind Sinfull, though.
