Cute spot, great latte. Nice place for a chill coffee. We got a nice roast beef sandwich and the tea service with deserts. Everything was yummy although we were a little disappointed that plain banana slices were served. We may have just caught them early just as they were opening up. There’s also a nice space upstairs.

Nice atmosphere and Delicious tuna sandwich. The food is a good portion and there’s space for individuals as well as groups.

This is my second time I visited this place. The first visit did not go well but I thought I would give it a second chance. I went to Snowflake for lunch. My lunch break is only an hour. It took 30 minutes to get my lunch. I ordered a tuna sandwich, a blacktea with honey lemon. The tea tasted like a green tea and there was no honey lemon. I couldn’t even give it away. I wounded throwing it in the sink. The tuna sandwich was okay but did not taste fresh. The chips came with it — I did not get a choice on the type of chip and had to settle for what they put in the box — sour cream and onion, yuch. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant but not enough for me to give it a third try. Over priced and another disappointed visit.

I ordered the turkey mozzarella crêpe and a lychee black tea. It took a while for the crêpe to come out, but what bothered me was how this place seems to be understaffed. Tables haven’t been cleaned around us for the entire duration of my family’s stay. Because of this, little flies are flying around which isn’t a great dining experience. The crêpe was good and filling, but I easily got tired of the honey mustard that it was topped with. As well as my tea was too sweet for my taste. All in all, if they just hired an extra person or two it would give customers a better overall experience.

I think this place must charge its customers for their attractiveness and awesomeness! Just kidding. To be serious, Snowflake Café & Bakery is truly cool! I love this place and more than that it was love from the very first sight a few months ago! This gem is so special for me. The owner, employees, ambiance and food-everything is on the highest level! The place is also pretty packed with love and respect to the customers, which exceptional for Houston! My favorite combination here is black coffee + cheese cake. Try it out!

The atmosphere is cute and quiet. There are board games you can play with and it seems like an okay place to study. The employees here are friendly and willing to help you make a decision. I ordered a HOUSESPECIALMILKTEA, CREMEBRULEE, and a SNOWFLAKEICE. The milk tea was very milky and sugary. I forced myself to drink half of it and couldn’t finish the rest. The crème brûlée was small and the top portion wasn’t caramelized correctly. It’s suppose to have a crunch when you break into it, but it was just creamy. It wasn’t worth it. The snowflake ice had some really soft ice and I mean not the typical shaved ice kind of ice, but like melted ice so it was more liquid-y than icy. I didn’t like it. The fruits weren’t very sweet, but tart. I’ll get my shaved ice elsewhere. I don’t know why I keep coming back to this place. Every single visit is a disappointment. I need to learn my lesson and just give up already.

Hi foodies, I went to this place like 4 month ago never did a review. I went on a Sunday with two friends. We had crepes not bad I still prefer Sweet Paris. But, it’s not bad and a decent price. They also have yummy smoothies. I would recommend this place for a small group or just going alone for a lunch or just to get a tea or smoothie. Plus they have games! I haven’t explored more of the menu, but I will be going back to try it again.

A hidden treasure indeed! I love hanging out with friends here after dinner in the area. It’s small but yet so inviting. Sitting can be very limited but I have not had trouble of finding a table. I love the area upstairs. I feel like I’m in my own living room catching up with friends. I normally just get the milk tea here. I recently tried their coffee jelly and that was interesting. 5% off if you paid with cash :) Parking is plenty. And this is in the same area of Ramen Jin. Oh, and plenty of board games if that’s your thing.

I remembered coming here back in the days when it was Dunobaby, but this was my first time here at Snowflake. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere here. It’s very chill, the red seats are comfy, they have a tv where you can just sit and watch as you eat, or there are board games against the walls for you to play. I got a Groupon and thank goodness I did b/c I probably would have been mad paying full price. Got the lavender milk tea, meat lover’s crêpe, and a strawberry cheesecake. My milk tea wasn’t that great. Drinkable, but that’s about it. The tapioca didn’t really have any flavor, so it wasn’t worth inhaling those calories. Meat lover’s crêpe was pretty much a pizza inside of a crêpe. I just wasn’t that thrilled with the batter that they used for the crêpe. The strawberry cheesecake was actually a strawberry cheesecake and not just dolloped with strawberries on top. Cheesecake was decent but for $ 5 for an average slice… eh…I would probably come back here to try some of their latte or shaved ice if I ever decide to come here. It’s definitely a nice quiet place for you to catch up with a girl friend.

My friend and I were looking for a new place to try out. She had a crêpe craving and we ended up coming into Snowflake Café and absolutely loved it! When you first walk in, you are greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and warm colors. The menu is written in chalk on the wall behind the counter and there is cool café art on the walls. There is a second floor with a darts game and pool tavle for those interested. The staff were courteous and helpful and the prices were pretty much the norm. The main star of this review, however, was the food. We had two savory crepes and two sweet crepes. I also had a sandwich. We ordered a hazelnut Latte and and an espresso drink as well as matcha green tea with tapioca. The spinach mushroom crêpe was flavored perfectly. The sauce on top was just heaven in my mouth. The tuna crêpe was surprisingly sweet and just made you want to keep eating. The banana nutella crêpe was just the right amount of sweet and super fresh. My friend loved her smores crêpe as well. The crêpe itself was just the right thickness and melted in my mouth. I was equally impressed with the roast beef sandwich. The bread was toasted and cut beautifully and the beef and veggies were fresh. Loved the whole plate, including the chips. Another huge draw for me was the Hazelnut latte. I love coffee so when I say this was one of the best lattes I have drunk in Houston I mean it. My friend had an espresso and matcha drink and loved both. Definitely recommend and will be returning!

~ A hidden treasure! ~ Cute, small, cosy, hangout/study spot. — Tea was satisfying offering many different varieties of flower teas and other mixes. — Desserts were not overly sweet and well made, pairing up nicely with the drinks. — Servers were pleasant and ready to answer questions you many have(I asked quite a few, and all of them were answered in a nice manner) — The atmosphere was refreshing and a nice change of pace(the shop had a Pinterest feel to it so bring your camera). It was not too loud for people to study and not to quite for people to not have a good chat.(Well, during the time that I went to anyways.(mid-day Sunday) Recommendations: –The 2 or 3 tier set is a good started for a group of friends to share; it also offers you a variety sample of their sweets.

Everything was pretty basic. Nothing really stood out at me. The tea was served in pretty old look tea pots. I am used to this one place I go to in NY called«Prince Tea House», they serve their tea in nicer teapots for the same price range. Anyways– besides tea, we also got crepes and a crème brule, The crème brule flavor was pretty spon on for me but needed more sugar on top. Crêpe was decent. No complaints but there was no wow factor. What did stand out to me of the place is the upstairs loft it had, gave our large group privacy and a place to hang out without disturbing the people downstairs who were studying etc. And I also liked that they had games out. Although I would organize them a bit and probably find the missing pieces.

Pros — Average price coffee, tea and dessert. Cons — latte art lady wasn’t there that day. My friends and I came in just for the latte art. Sigh! Fail! We got strawberry banana nutrella crêpe, it was okay the outer part was a little crisp. As for Tiramisu, it was pretty in pink, tasted just alright. They also have board games. Pretty basic place!

Cozy & comfortable– had the 2 tier tea party. Was able to get the a creamy cheesecake, Rice crispies, and vanilla custard topped with chocolate crumbs. Not too sweet and complements the Chamomile tea. Don’t miss the Syphon coffee– looks watery but it is very strong. The bottom of the beaker is heated from the bottom causing the fluid to flow upwards then the heat is removed causing it to come down for concentrated black brew.

I’m a huge fan of cute little cafes! The only reason why I was drawn to this adorable place was because of the cute window arts and the little chalk board displayed outside. I was just done eating lunch at a restaurant nearby and thought it would be nice to have some boba before returning to work. The atmosphere of the café was peaceful and it had an interesting vintage flowery interior design. What’s also unique about this place was that they had a small second floor with coaches and extra seating! The service is excellent! The girl at the counter was very hospitable and welcoming!(There was one person in front of me and she kept smiling and say that she will be with me right away!!) I ordered their season’s special: Rose Milk Tea with Tapioca It was delicious! I will confess that I never tasted a rose milk tea before but I have had some desserts that are rose flavored and in my opinion this milk tea nailed it! I will definitely come back!

Never judge a book by it’s cover. The small, drab exterior of Snowflake masked a spacious, well decorated interior. When I arrived around 3, there were plenty of empty tables to pick from, which was perfect because I planned to get some work done. The barista was super friendly, and my order was actually brought to my table. I initially wanted the hazelnut latte and the New York cheesecake, but strangely enough, they were out of all cheesecake except strawberry, so I settled for the tiramisu. Honestly, the latte was nothing special. The tiramisu, on the other hand, came in a container that was so cute, it actually pained me to dig into it. Very moist and not overly sweet, it definitely suited my taste. Sadly, for what I paid for it, I was expecting more volume. As a study place, this place is superb. The free wifi is fast, and there are a decent amount of outlets around. Plus, if you get the larger tables, you would have plenty of study space, maybe even up to a group of 4. Decent coffee, good dessert, and plenty of space for me and my laptop. What else could I want?

Purchased the club sandwich along with a vanilla latte. The sandwich was pretty simple, served along with chips but tasted very good and fresh. I’d definitely recommend it. The latte was very good as well. I really like the quaint atmosphere and the customer service was very good. Looking forward to trying some of the sweet deserts on my next visit.

Yuck!!! Worst crêpe I have ever tasted!!! I ordered the Smore’s crêpe. We all know S’mores = chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker. The crêpe was undercooked — still had a strong raw dough taste Inside the crêpe was only marshmallow. On top of the crêpe was a drizzle of chocolate and PULVERIZED sprinkle of graham cracker. Other than that, the staff was nice and polite but for a $ 8 crêpe — never again I must say Sweet Paris still the best!!!

(NOGLUTENFREECREPES/BATTER) I have only visited once. Location: not too hard to find, in the plaza that has Whole foods on one end. The rest of the plaza shares a black canopy with white writing and Snowflake is kind of on the other end from Whole foods. Décor: enter and you are greeted by a chinese lucky cat infront of you. Cute, neat and clean décor inside with a small decorative fireplace to your right with seating. There is wall seating(with a bench and cushions on it so your butt doesn’t hurt too bad!) ALso, there is an upstairs loft area which I think is lower seating and I see peoples shoes at the bottom of the steps going up… so kinda cool for a very comfy cozy feel. Ordering: counter is at the back of the first floor/entrance. you order and pay there, they will bring your items out to you. They have a small but diversified menu. Ranges from coffee, smoothies, deserts, crepes, flower tea, sandwiches, bubble tea and I think the cool thing I saw is that they have fondue options on their menu for 2 people which was not very expensive. There is water in a beverage dispenser on the rack with cups and things like splenda, sugar, etc below it. Wi-FI: Yes they have wi-fi and ample seating… I have yet to spot an outlet though for your chargers. It is about noon on a Friday when it is absolutely pouring buckets cats and dogs outside! and there are 8 other people there(2 groups and one individual other than myself)…it is quiet enough to get work done, there are tables to every seating arrangement so ample room. All in all, I think their food is overpriced for quality(I got a tukey and mozarella crêpe and dark roast siphon coffee) oh and they don’t bring the siphon to you, they pour you a cup and bring you a cup of coffee. I am also not impressed by the taste of the coffee. It is sub-par. I have ofcourse not tried any other items. However, if you live close to this spot, it is an average spot to hang out/meet people… I think it would be one of the best places when it gets colder because of the cozy environment for reading a book, a lazy day, deep thinking especially because of the colors of the place with the reds and greens and wood… I walked in was reminded of Christmas season and eggnog… just the vibe! So, if I return all the way out here, I would come for the environment and if I bring people I will be trying out the fondue and flower tea.

I am still on the hunt for the perfect study spot. Snowflake has impressed me in certain spots but hasn’t earned the title of Nancy’s ultimate coffee/study place just yet. I came in around 11am for a few hours and right when I step foot, I knew this would be the place. It’s a cute one and a half story coffee shop. I say one and a half because the upstairs part isn’t that big. There are a couple round glass tables and a couch that’s super low to the ground. I opted to stay downstairs. During my stay, right away the customer service was fantastic. The lady answered my questions and was patient with me. I ended up ordering a spinach and mushroom crêpe with a honey lemonade with green tea. The savory crêpe was okay. But as far as the drink goes, it was refreshing. I would like to try other things on the menu though. I noticed that quite a few people ordered food to go since they were on their lunch break. I actually got a lot of work done. There were even some people at the table next to me studying. The ambiance is peaceful, especially during the morning/day. I really enjoyed it. The only thing that sets me back is the number of outlets. I probably looked a little crazy but the one thing I upon coming into the store was scope out outlets. I mean, if I’m going to enjoy a cup of Joe, I’d like to at least know that I can also do some work on my laptop as well. Unfortunately I didn’t find any upstairs, which is why I stayed down. I ended up sitting at the table directly in front of the ordering counter. The internet is pretty fast. I appreciate a good coffee shop that at least provides decent internet. Apparently there’s Groupon specials according to other Unilocalers. I do love me some coupons. Maybe that’ll be another excuse for me to try more things. I do however, plan on coming back.
