The baristas don’t fill cups to the top. If I am going to pay $ 5 for a latte, I expect the cup to be full. Other than that, the service is just okay. They could be more friendly.

This Starbucks is inside the building!!! Not visible from outside and located in the lower level of the bldg. Suggestion Any chance you can make a sign in different bldg areas to help customers?

Great place to get coffee in downtoen. Very clean and stocked with other food items besides coffee. They have a sitting area outside of the store so you can do some work or relax.

these are some of t he most incompetent bristas on this side of the sun. How in the name of God’s green earth can you NOT make a hot Very Berry Hibiscus? I’m told they can only make it cold, as a Refresher. I get this tea hit in Austin Texas on a regular basis, so somebody’s lying.

Good service today at this tunnel location. Wasn’t there at prime time, so had no issues. Nice staff, clean Starbucks and a great coffee.

Slowest Starbucks ever! I thought the first time I went it was only slow because it was busy but I went yesterday and it was not busy at all walked right up and five minutes later my empty cup is still on their counter while baristas are cleaning and brewing more coffee. I had to ask them to make my drink. Finally got it ten minutes later. The first time I went it took 15 minutes to get my drink(always get a tall coffee frap) and I had to ask them to make mine too because they kept skipping me and making other people’s drinks. It is honestly so weird I have never had service issues and any other Starbucks in my life.

This will be my first and only review for Starbucks and I“ve been a customer of Starbucks for a very long time. I’m usually an easy customer and have a lot of patience when it comes to customer service. Reason why I’m writing this review is because I want the service for this place to improve and I want to be able to come here and not getting so irritated. Hopefully someone will read this. I want to start of with the fact that the staffs here are great, they are very friendly and genuence(just like the rest of the Starbucks locations), which is why I am giving it a 2 stars and I love Starbucks. See, I’m not sure if this apply to all of th Starbucks locations, but usually applied to the one i’ve been to and trust me, i’ve been to A LOTOF starbucks, pretty much every locationin Houston. Most of the locations, barista would asked what kind of drink you want and your name. However, for this location, the barista does not ask for your name, which I think should be fine if the place is not busy. Keep in mind that this location is VERY busy. It is located right under the Houston downtown Chase Tower(tallest building in Houston downtown) and I think, this is the busiest Starbucks I have ever been to. A couple of time when I go there in the morning to get a cup of coffee, thinking that it would be quick. One time, it took me about 30 minutes to get my coffee(if i knew that it would take that long, i would have just place an order then come back to my office to get some work done then go back to pick up my coffee). Anyway, when I go there, there were like 10 – 15 people in front of me in the line waiting to order and additional 10 – 15 more waiting for their drinks by the counter. There were 2 cahsiers taking the drinks order and one barista making the drink. Now, that doesn’t make sense to me because why do you have two people taking drinks order and 1 person making it. On top of that when the drink comes out, they would call out the drink name and of course a lot of people were confused because well… two people can be ordering the same drinks. I know there are some complicated people that order some complicated drink(lucky one, because no one would take their drink). I’ve witness people picking up the wrong drinks and customers were getting frustrated. Since I am addicted to coffee and Starbucks I usually have a cup of coffee from Starbucks almost everyday. However, since this location takes forever to make drink, I haven’t really been coming as often anymore(which is a good think I guess because I saved a lot of money). Here are some suggetions that i want to make are: 1. Hire more people during the busy hours(morning) 2. Have more people making the drinks instead of taking order so there wont be too much drinks ordered backup with cups lying around on the counter 3. Write customer’s name on the cup to eliminate the confusion

Friendly staff, good location(easy to access from both the tunnels and the street) and plenty of seating in the Chase Building. Can be a bit crowded(no more than a 3-minute wait) during the morning(10 – 11AM) & afternoon(2 – 3PM) caffeine rush.
