Slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Inside or drive thur. Over 20 minutes every time.

This Starbucks is across the street from my apartment. So I often end up here. I’ve had several issues with this location. They are always slow if you walk in. Everyone is focused on the drive thru. They have also tried to charge me for a more expensive drink because they can’t find what I actually ordered on the screen. Ridiculous. They leave new untrained employees to the drive thru window alone. Leaving you with a super messed up drink no matter how simple it is (Peach Green Tea). They also never fill up the iced teas to the top. I shouldn’t have an inch of space at the top. This Starbucks needs to get it together.

I’ve tried to give this Starbucks a chance but the staff here steals and gives back the wrong change all the time. Also don’t get food here they will always make you park in the street and wait. My orders are always wrong and the staff is rude. This is the only Starbucks I’ve been to with bad service.

This is the SLOWEST Starbucks drive thru. I’ve been here twice this week at around 3pm, and both times I have had to wait 15 – 20 mins. I waited in the drive thru line and then waited again at the window for 5 mins.
All I ordered was iced coffee. No apology for the wait. So ridiculous.

I had a caramel frappuccino for the first time this morning. It was so sweet I threw up, but for that brief & fleeting moment before the chunks began to rise in my throat. it was heaven. Oh, and the service here is great too.

Lots of space at this location! They have several sofas and a cute little bar-​type table with stools that’s perfect for a coffee chat or working.
The service here is a little less friendly than the location on University, I would attribute that to management. For some reason, the employees here usually seem tired and a little more apathetic than is typical for Starbucks, but there are also a few gems here! Always have whole milk out to add to coffee, which seals the deal for me!

I feel like the Starbucks system in Houston needs a general overhaul. Always friendly but always slow. Maybe they are understaffed? Clearly undertrained. Houston is a major city with a large population. With only so many convenient places to drive through in the morning, many are going to choose a taste they can trust.

I’m a frequent Starbucks goer, but I have had SO many issues at this location. I understand that things happen and people mess up orders, but the staff is SO unaccommodating. Several of the employees don’t care at all about their job and it shows. Particularly the girl who works at the drive through window most mornings. They charged my account several times one day and STILL made me pay for all of it… I asked if my card would be credited back for their mistake and they told me it would– I have yet to be credited back. That is only one issue I have had. The other were wrong drink orders, unfriendly employees, having my breakfast sandwich be completely burnt to the bag and not in one piece, as well as other service issues. I told myself so many times I would never go back to that Starbucks… The only thing they have going for them is they are right next to wear I live so it is convenient. However, convenience will not even be a factor in my decision anymore. I would rather drive up the drive a couple miles to the next Starbucks now:. It’s that bad. Do not go here unless you’re going to be late for work and need to. Seems like it needs new management too.

This has to be the worst SB in the area, always so slow! I used to work for SB years ago and this place does not make their drinks correctly half the time. I guess SB does not care to hire quality people anymore.

I love this Starbucks. I always come here to study and always manage to get lots of work done! It’s my productive study haven :)
Pros
— baristas are fast, friendly and efficient
— study-​friendly environment (lots of individuals tables and multiple outlets)
— offers indoor and outdoor seating
— have drive through (usually quite packed in the mornings)
Cons
— small parking lot
— they crank the AC really strong. I walked out shivering… bring a jacket if you plan on staying there for more than an hour!
One time I was there late on a Wednesday night working and one of the baristas came up to me and handed me a sample plate of their baked goods and said «you’re working too hard». Super sweet and totally made my night :)

I only come here for the drive thru. every single time I come to get a Frapuccino they make it without much ice. It’s super watery and even if you tell them to make it frozen they still don’t. Not trying to sound like a brat at all. It’s just that when you pay for a drink that is nearly $ 5 you want it done right! I just came through the drive thru twice, asking them to remake the same item. I paid for both and they still messed it up. The employees are not too friendly either. I dislike this location very much. Come on Starbucks get better employees.

One person working, 3 people in line, more in drive-​thru= NO DRINK FOR YOU! Really was not worth wait as the barrister proceeded to explain every type of frappuccino they had to a customer.

Worst Starbucks, slowest EVER. I have been tonthis one a handful of times as it’s the closest hoping it will be better every time and it never is. I waited 20 minutes to get a smoothie. First the gal wasn’t at the reg for at least 5 minutes then at least 15 minutes I waited on my phone for the smoothie. It wasn’t even busy. The two guys behind me got their drinks first. Get it together management!

I agree with the other posters, the parking is a little wacky but doable. I also agree the drive thru is much quicker than indoors. Drive thru is on fire while indoors is barely getting the match. I have had no concerns or problems here and will definitely return!

All things considered, this is a pretty solid Starbucks. The interior is large, there’s plenty of seating, and the staff is effective. However, I wouldn’t say this is an amazing Starbucks. There’s limited parking, and unfortunately, it’s located on one of the busiest streets in Houston that gets horribly backed up during traffic hour (especially because of the Shepherd st. construction). They also keep this Starbucks at a pretty cold temperature; so I would recommend getting a hot drink or bringing a jacket.

Staff is efficient and keeps the morning rush line moving. I choose to go here as it is the closest location to my home (a mini Starbucks inside Randall’s to me doesn’t count). My drinks are always right on their taste but not really «pretty.» I think I’m just spoiled by the Buffalo Speedway location. An odd thing I have noticed: the drive thru tends to confuse my order about 1 of 3 times. Never had any issues when I go into order.

The first few times coming to this location was not the best but I must say over the last month or two the staff has definitely improved a lot! I’ll be back for sure!

What can I say. It’s a regular Starbucks. This one gets busy fast. Most people go through their convenient drive through line.
It is fairly spacious inside. Also their staff is friendly and efficient. I usually get what I order fairly quickly.

Decent starbucks. This location gets a lot of traffic, so be warned if you want to come here to chill or study. Staff is polite and efficient.

Very spacious. Prompt service and my order was correct. Restroom was clean (thank you!).
Not a whole lot of seating available indoors due to the number of patrons, but that’s not something the establishment can help. I don’t mind sitting outdoors as long as there are umbrellas to provide shade. This location only had one and it appeared broken.
Overall, I had a decent experience.
