First I want to thank the past Unilocal reviewers for recommending Kerri. Thanks to their recommendations I’ve had Kerri cut my hair twice and have been very happy both times.
The experience was a little different than what I’ve had in a typical salon, but the end result and price were great! My hair is fairly short so instead of shampooing my hair, Kerri sprayed it with a spray bottle to make it damp enough to cut. She asked me what I wanted and did exactly that, but also used her expertise to make it above and beyond what I knew to ask for. I felt like she took her time to provide a good cut, but also got me out in less than 30 minutes which I appreciated.
I will echo a sentiment from another user, at these prices please don’t forget to tip your stylist if you are happy with their work! We want the great ones like Kerri to stick around :)

Worst haircut & experience ever. I’m usually pretty trusting of people with cutting my hair but I will never go back here. I described what I wanted the older (Latina maybe Asian) woman began to cut my hair. I’m no hair stylist or barber but usually when I get my haircut they do the fade first, then trim the top. Finishing the cut by blending and cleaning up the lines. She just parted my hair down the center and started cutting long lengths away. Which is not what I wanted. My hair is parted on the side first of all… Anyway, now my hair looks awkward and lopsided because of how my hair lays. Many times during the haircut she started to ask me a question but then just started cutting before I could reply. I left the place angry. I felt like she had no idea how to cut hair. And I honestly don’t understand why she couldn’t see my hair was obviously uneven. I had to come home and shave my head. The hair will grow back but I’ll never trust my hair to this place again.

I have naturally curly hair and I’m always scared to get my haircut because everybody doesn’t understand shrinkage. I must say I really love my new cut Jacqeshia did a great job. She was fast and attentive asked what I wanted and I was really impressed.

Well I have to say– this wasn’t my best experience to date– part of it. Let me explain– The day before Thanksgiving I decided to go for a big change. I cut my long hair short. Way short and decided to color and highlight at the same time. Jay is super cool and she did a great cut. The color on the other hand… although I love the two reds she used as I am an auburn/​redhead– she used the lightest color closest to my roots and with baby fine hair it makes my hair look even thinner and then there’s the fact that it wasn’t colored down to the roots. All ladies know one of the biggest reasons we color our hair is to hide the gray. Well… my gray is at the roots so I spent the money and I’m still showing gray :(
I don’t know if I’ll be going back for color anytime soon :(

I’ve always been very hesitant on getting my hair cut for at a decent price. I’ve paid from $ 10 — $ 100. I’ve been satisfied and unsatisfied with my haircuts. I’m also the plain Jane kind of type where I don’t like to do any type of maintenance or layers to my hair. But this time I wanted a little bit of a change. Every salon I went to, I asked for their recommendation and they would recommend something but then they would keep tacking on other stuff. Every time I said no, they would do it anyway and then my bill would be tripled.
After researching for weeks, I decided to give this place a try. Same thing I asked for their recommendation and it came out perfect! Miranda is very sweet and she knew exactly what I wanted! Highly recommend this place!

Worst haircut ever got in my life. An older Asian guy gave me a haircut this evening, it seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. I just wanted a simple crew cut. I left so frustrated from this place. Never going there again and would not recommend it to anybody.

Searched all over for a new salon that would stay open enough days/​hours to actually get haircut for those of us that work. Naturally, I turned to Unilocal to find someplace special. Imagine my surprise when I discovered SUPERCUTS. Not only do they work seven days a week, but you can make an appointment on line or just show up and wait on your favorite stylist. Kerri is not only extremely talented but fast. She is the boss lady, and keeps things running smoothly. You see, when services cost less than half of what you’re used to paying, you know they have to make it up in volume. This is a busy salon! Michael is my boy’s favorite. He is up on the contempory cuts and all you have to do is show him a photo and sit back and relax. They really are pros here, so if you’re looking for a salon to call home, give them a try.
P. S. I really hate to have to mention this, but I keep seeing folks check out and pay their $ 13.95 and not bother to tip their stylist. At these prices you have to know that they work for tips! Come on H Town show a little appreciation!

Per previous reviews, I felt comfortable going to super cuts for a cheap haircut. This was a mistake. Kerri cut my hair, and it is the worst hair cut of my life. She put no effort into it. Never once moved my natural part and did nothing to blend it. I got a blunt, straight cut around the bottom and it looks terrible. I am disappointed based on others rave reviews of Kerri.

I was nervous about cutting my hair short, but I’m so glad I did! Kerri cut my hair exactly if not better than I wanted! She is truly a stylist and I highly recommend her to anyone who ask. She knows exactly what will go with your face frame and knows how to work with the style you choose!

I had an appointment with Kerri. When I arrived my hair was pretty damaged. Kerri took time to make styling suggestions and I went for it! She prompted me before her first snip, I appreciated that. I explained to her some of my hair complications i.e. dryness and she made thoughtful recommendations. When she had finsihed my hair, I was so pleased! The trim and style brought my hair back to life. She is now my new go-​to stylist! Not to mention the savings! I now save $ 20 on the same wash and style routine that I was paying much more for elsewhere. I was in and out which was another plus. I’m so glad I made the switch. #Kerri #Savings They service women :0) Ask for Kerri!

Read reviews on Unilocal and asked for kerri. She is the sweetest. I dint know what exactly i wanted, so she made suggestions for my hair. Walked out with a fabulous hair. Will go back again.

Kerri was amazing! I had very long curly curly hair and did not trust anyone with cutting it. I had one hairstylist for years and she relocated out of Houston so I was in desperate need of a new hairstylist. I searched and searched until I asked a lady whose hair was similar texture to mine and had a beautiful cut where she got her hair done. She referred me to Kerri for the best haircut for curly head people! And yessss! Kerri did it great job with my curls! Brought them to life & easy to talk to about exactly how I wanted the cut! She continuously kept me engaged on what she was doing to my hair and made sure the length she was going to cut off was completely okay we me! Thank you!

First visit today and I was helped by Kerri. I asked for a wash, a trim and eyebrow wax. She did a great job, even suggested a cut that she thought would look good. The business says, men’s cuts… but I assure you they provide services for women too. Kerri was funny and interactive and also gave me a few shampoo samples for my hair type. There was no wait and the whole shebang took 30 minutes. For the cost of ½ a haircut at a high dollar place, I left plucked with a fresh do and feeling great. Highly recommend, ask for Kerri.

Like another reviewer, I was/​am simply tired of being expected to pay $ 65+ for a simple haircut. So I did a quick search on here and headed to Supercuts.
At 9:30 am on a Saturday, there were 3 people ahead of me and 1 stylist (Tomora). She was efficient and quickly met all their needs (kids cut, a blow out, and a men’s cut).
My turn in the chair, I explained that I wanted about an inch taken off of my shoulder-​length hair and that because I have wavy mexican hair, I needed some thinning out or shaping to the back. She nodded, made some suggestions on how to do that and I agreed. She got to work.
Tomora is actually a cosmetology instructor at a local college and cuts here as a side job. She was great with explaining some things to do with my hair without trying to oversell any product.
My cut is absolutely perfect and works whether I straighten it or leave it curly. Definitely recommend her :-)

I just wanted a basic trim and that’s what was delivered with friendly service. My nephews also got their haircuts and the older Asian gentleman had the most patience with them. We will certainly be back as the service was not only quick but really friendly.

For all the Dudes! Ask for Mike ! He does a mean #1 high flare aka known as a short Army cut. The place is decent, clean enough and the staff are friendly. Little expensive for a guys haircut, $ 12 for just a cut but once you find the right barber who cuts it to what you want, who cares how much!

So… I’m a Supercuts chica, but only a billion years ago (like, in high school) and somewhere I learned that you must pay a premium for a haircut and somehow, that when you pay more, it’s better… and, sometimes, that is spot on… but not always.
After having the last few much higher priced cuts and poor results at best, even with explicit conversations, I decided to say, WTH… and stopped in on the way to the grocery store. Read these reviews (as always, I go no where without checking in with Unilocal…) and asked for Kerrie, much like other reviews did.
Kerrie was awesome. She asked me specifically how much I wanted taken off and confirmed with a mirror to «show me» where the new length would fall… and, unlike some of my experiences elsewhere, she cut my curly locks beautifully…

Place sucks too slow

Kerri did a great job! Shampoo was thorough and relaxing. She listened to exactly what I wanted. She showed me lengths before making a single cut! Awesome job! Will be coming back!

This place just opened and I came here yesterday for a quick haircut. This guy named Christopher cut my hair, and he was a super cool dude. He was pretty careful when it came to getting my hair exactly how I wanted, and he was very friendly.
Another plus is that it’s in a strip mall next to a Which Which, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, Starbucks and other places to eat. So after you get a haircut, you can treat yourself to some awesome food.
