I’ve been coming here for the past year. Food has always been good here. the soup is great in a cold day! And the prices are decent

Really bad .!! My beef with Broccoli was loaded with meat that was the consistency of rubber. Couldn’t chew it. The lo mein was spaghetti with soy sauce, the beef hunan was also loaded with rubber meat. Egg rolls tasted like cheap old food, the won ton soup was very watered down. Should I keep on going ?? The containers were small and not even filled more than 50%. Plus the food was over priced. I am just hoping I don’t get sick tomorrow.

One of favorite things about this restaurant is that they do delivery service! It is rare to find a Chinese restaurant that actually delivers. Their service is fast and efficient! I love their House Specials Lo Mien, it’s just the right flavor and it comes in a pretty big box of food! Their combination meals are just as good. I love how it would come with a side dish of soup. When you order over a certain price they would gift you an extra side dish! I love that concept. Overall my experiences with this restaurant has been excellent!

I was absolutely disgusted with the food I received from this place. My orange chicken had had pieces of what looked like wood chips, some of the orange was burnt and it was obviously reheated from lunch or the day before. The fried rice had no flavor. The hot and sour soup tasted burnt as if it was again from lunch the day before and had an awful burnt smell. The egg roll was cooked long before I ordered and was not good but was the only thing I really ate. The price is reasonable but you get what you pay for. I live very close and honestly drive to a place farther away and thought I would give this place a chance I will never return.

Horrible customer service and poor value. Placed a large order and received one messed up entrée and other entrees that were way too small. Management refused to make it right and told me I could just throw it out if I wanted. I could also hear a woman cursing at me in Chinese in the background.

A typical, «Bad,» Chinese restaurant. Came here to pick up to go and it was eh… The prices aren’t bad at all.($ 7 for a small dinner combo, a la carte menu very cheap.) The portion sort of sucks, they put the dinner combos in a really small container that’s cut in half with rice on one side and the meat option on the other. Food wise, it was okay.(A little salty and rice was really grainy.) Typical Chinese takeout. The place itself is very spacious, but I came at around 7& no one was there. Seems like a lot of people only come to buy takeout. Overall, I probably wouldn’t come back unless I’m truly craving Chinese food in the area because it doesn’t hit the spot! Lol

I have tried this place for the second time and each time that I have the food had way to much pepper in it. The first time I had mongolian beef and I couldn’t even eat it due to the can of pepper it seemed to be in it and the second time I ordered chicken lo mein and that to was had a very strong pepper taste. When do you put pepper in lo mein?

If are into the new trend of doing challenges this is the place for you. I challenge you to Montezuma’s Revenge Challenge, all you have to do is eat at this place. If you accept the Montezuma Revenge challenge this is the place for you. You’ll have the Mexican runs eating Chinese food, lots of fun. My wife and I got it and now we are fighting over the use of Montezuma’s Throne when you feel like your colon is melting. It has been a couple of days now and I feel like we are contributing to the recent Houston floods with all the toilet flushes coming out of my sewer. High School cafeteria food from 20 years ago makes you feel like you are eating at a 5 start restaurant compared to Taipei Express. Dried and over fried chicken tasted like a mixture of stale bread and beef jerky. In conclusion you are better off eating at any other whole in the wall place than this place.

This restaurant was owned by 2 brothers and there are 2 taipei Express, when it first open, the food is decent, I even spoke to one of the owners. They have genuine chefs from Taiwan in the kitchen. Then it starts going downhill, chicken wings 6 pieces-they just chopped up the wing tip and the upper drumnette and turn them into 2 pieces, so voila, they turn 3 chcken wings into 6 pieces. Once I ordered hot and sour soup and they ran out of there is hardly any tofu in the soup. They used to haev nice large gulf shrimp for their shrimp in lobster sauce, now they just use medium farm raised shrimp. Running a restaurant is hard work, you lose your chef, help does not show up for work, so owner ended up doing all the work. Many Asian restaurants now have hispanic cooks, they are cheaper and willing to work, cant blame them

I made a mistake coming here for dinner. I ordered the Orange shrimp combo and I was disappointed. The wonton soup that came with it is nothing close to what wonton soup is supposed to taste like. The fried wonton had old, dried meat and there was less than the size of the top of my pinky finger worth of meat in it. The shrimp themselves were definitely not fresh. My first and last time to eat here.

Food was not that great. Under seasoned bland and not your typical Chinese delivery food. Giving two stars for the quick delivery and friendly service.

I ordered the Mongolian Triple– spicy. Full of flavor not to spicy just nice heat to the food. 4 – 5 shrimp lot of meat and chicken. Onions nice crunch, long yet good sized strains of green onion, the sauce nice and most the spice comes from that so i am assuming the added chili oil. The fried rice desires more, its just plain fried rice no vegetables or anything added. It is not that i ordered the food for the rice, and i don’t ever expect much from the rice they included. It would be nice to have an awesome rice that accompanied this meal but they consolation prize is the left over sauce from the meal is a nice topping for the rice or just add the rice to it and it becomes great dish.

I had take out. I had orange chicken, egg drop, and egg roll. The cashier was very polite. The restaurant was clean during my visit. It was a good fast food Chinese restaurant for my first visit.

There are 3 things I have learned about eateries who specialize in delivering food to your door. 1) It is generally bad 2) It is generally late, therefore, cold 3) I am aware of these two foreboding facts yet I still order delivery, therefore, I am lazy. This little Oriental nugget in Richmond(just screams authenticity, I know) confirmed two of the three. They were horrible, and I am still incredibly lazy. I think I fell asleep in History class when my professor informed us about the Polish occupation of Taiwan. That is the only explanation for the pierogi«pork pot sticker» that I received when they arrived piping hot at my door. I was so taken with the golden crunchy exterior that I abandoned my fork and used my human utensils(fingers) to sample this promising pocket of Asian delight. I was compensated with a thick rug of dough which they, unfortunately, forgot to stuff with pork. The Mongolian Triple lived up to its’ glorious name! Not only did it contain exactly 3 shrimp(how literal they were when they aptly named it triple) but those very shrimp permeated the entire dish. Yippee, if you love old tasting seafood! The other two partners who showed up(the chicken and beef) were left out like third wheels so they embraced their title as well. Everything else was so utterly forgettable that I have completely dismissed it from my mind. I can say they were very fast(must have been a slow Friday, which should have been an indicator) and reasonably priced.

They only use white meat for their chicken dishes. That’s deserving of four stars for Chinese food. This is your typical fast food Chinese restaurant but with healthier options. It’s cheap like the food in Chinatown, but CLEAN. This is a great option for the neighborhood local eatery for nights you aren’t up for cooking dinner. Free delivery with $ 15 order. I like that they have lunch specials everyday until 3pm. The portions are generous too.
