Great Happy Hour spot!!! Cheap drinks but top shelf :) atmosphere was cool. Decent patio area and inside is nice too. The bartenders are cool as well. This was the first spot myself and few friends went before we did a tour of duty lol to a few other spots. Well, we ended up coming back to this spot after leaving happy hour, and then going to two other spots. When we came back the second time, it was packed and they had a live band and DJ spinning. Nice crowd, good music, overall good vibe. Definitely would go again. I give it four stars only because when it was packed it took a while to get drinks but all in all, great experience at the FEDORALOUNGE!!! Definitely would recommend. They have my endorsement. Oh yeah make sure to park at the lot across the street. This place is somewhat cozy, so it gets packed pretty quick.

Fedora lounge was a nice little surprise. It is a small bar located in a strip mall with a patio out front. There are bar stools lining the bar, about three couches and a few tables. It’s a great spot for a calm night out when you don’t want to do the club/lounge scene. I went on a Friday and there weren’t but 20 people in there. On Fridays they have $ 5 you call it, and a DJ spinning. The drinks were stiff and the DJ was on point. He played all sorts of hip hop and kept everyone dancing in their seats. As long as there is good music, I am happy anywhere, regardless of the environment. All in all it’s a good spot to get a little buzz going before heading somewhere else or a nice place for a quieter evening with a date or group of friends.

The service currently sucks. Our waitress is inattentive and slow. The dj was good. The lemon drop martini my wife had was ok but the glass was only two thirds full both times. Use smaller glasses, this is a rookie bar mistake. The place is decorated nice enough, crowd was light tonite, so not sure about how the staff performs on busy nights. Oh yeah, the lemon drop martini was served in a margarita glass, SMDH!!!

What a difference a year makes? This used to be one of my fav spots last time I was in Houston. Friday happy hour is dollar shots of cirroc, hennesey, and crown. Yes. With blasting SAME hip hop selections every friday at full blast is a no. This is a what… ‘a lounge’. It’s supposed to be a chill aatmosphere. You can’t hear the person next to you, let alone you will suffer a hearing loss based on the volume. I don’t care if they are giving away free pasta. The venue is too small to play the music that loud The crowd I’ve seen last few Fridays are the crowd I avoid at Carringtons and the ‘other hood’ spots. Not a thing wrong with the hood crowd but I come here when I DON’T want that crowd. Men bumping into you without an apology and talking disrespectfully, drunk women dropping it like it’s hot and dry humping chairs and men closing the door directly in your face as you come in. Not what I’m looking for or the atmosphere I expect at a place such as this. As soon as they called the end of 5 buck you call its, they all file out. Thank goodness. And your website states 9pm BTW and you called it ended at 830pm Even the men that were my age that approached me I thought they were 25 based on their attitude. I’ll come during the week or not at all if this is the type of crowd you are trying to attract now. Shame

What can I say about this average bar, lets see the music was very loud, therefore its not good if you want to talk to anyone. Went on a Friday there was a DJ big ups to him he was killing it from old school to present he played some good hits. Dancing is definitely a requirement or should be. The atmosphere was nice and clean, the crowd was mid 20’s to mature. The bartenders were nice and attentive.

Love this spot! Came here on a Friday night with BF for their $ 1 happy hour along with a free buffet of chicken wings and rice. It gets crazy packed but they keep the party going and the DJ spinning. I had a tasty glass of riesling and we sat out on the patio. Come here ready to kick it a few hours and talk to the locals! Love how nice and non-uppitdy people are down here.

I love Fedora Lounge. The dj was great with really cool upbeat music. The house was packed. The bar tender was helpful and attentive. The drinks were stiff, incredibly priced at $ 14 for 2 and tasted awesome. It was the best whiskey sour I ever had. Because it was so packed there were no empty seats at 12:00 on Friday night, but that’s cool because many of us were dancing. I hope this black majority club/bar didn’t mind this white girl jumping in on the awesome party. The place started clearing out just after one. And by 1:15 there only about 6 of us left.

Staff was late opening bar. Then the girl who did open it made us wait another 10 mins for the bartender bc she didn’t know how to make a martini. The drinks were watery. The staff was unfriendly. The only reason for an added star is that when I quit drinking their crappy drinks, they did a decent job of keeping my water refilled. Will never go back.

Are you grown and sexy? This is the place to be if you want to enjoy some good music and strong drinks with a relaxed clientele. My friends and I are Caucasian, and we walked in on a whim not knowing that we’d be three grains of white rice in a bowl of brown rice… but you know what? We were made to feel welcome, and not like intruders. Other clubs need to take a lesson from Fedora and welcome all ethnicities. It makes me cringe to read reviews of places that turn away minorities and mixed race groups. Fedora welcomed us, and one of the staff even got us to dance. The DJ was spinning some 90s grooves and mixed in some newer stuff too.

I’ve only been to Fedora once and it was a Wednesday night in early February. Stepped in about 9pm and stayed until around 12am. May have been 15 – 20 ppl there including me and the 2 i was with. There was a DJ playing music that seemed way too loud considering there weren’t many people and te mood was pretty chill. The place is pretty small. Staff was cool but I didn’t try any of their signature drinks. I agree with Farrah, that this is the kinda place you and your crew can come and take over. It kinda reminds me of Swagger around the corner off 59 south.

I only found this place via Unilocal. The food was good and the people there were friendly, including the bartender, the cook and the patrons. The Sunday Crawfish boil was excellent. Just spicy enough and not too salty. I ended up going there the next night for the steak special. It was killer as well. This place made my short trip in Houston memorable and tasty. Cheers!

I recently visited the Fedora Lounge to celebrate my birthday(on a Saturday night). After some back and forth messaging with the manager, I decided it would be best to reserve a table since the place is fairly small. I went back and forth on my liquor bottle selection and decided on Whipped Vodka and Big Red(don’t knock it until you try it). When we arrived we located our tables, which had a reserved sign on them, and a group of 4 ladies sitting at them. We found the waitress and explained that these were our tables, bought and payed for. The waitress acted like she was afraid to ask the ladies to move and instead asked US to tell them. Of course my husband(the introvert) was not happy about this and located the manager. After some going back and forth our table was eventually cleared(30 minutes later). Now we only needed drinks! The manager brings us out a half bottle of Vodka and some triple sec? No Big red, no ice, and glasses the size of shot cups. After another 30 minutes of going back and forth they finally got it together and located some big red… but we were still left with a half bottle of vodka. They informed is that they were not going to charge us the entire $ 150 which we thought was fair. Instead they charged us $ 115 which at that point we were a little buzzy so went along with it even though we thought ½ price should be better based on the amount in the bottle and the service. Overall I would say that if it wasn’t for the GREAT music the DJ was playing there would be no way I would pay for reservations at this club. The service was unprofessional and not worth the money spent.

After hearing so many great things about this place, we had try it and boy did it live to expectations! I came in thinking its going to be a quick stop~~get in, scheme the place, maybe have a drink and leave, well, here we are, still enjoying this place two hours later. The drinks are great, strong and stiff. For me its the Ladies Fedora which is right on. My husband tries the Gentlema’s Fedora ~~boy is this drink strong, wowza! our next round is the Stetson and finally i had to try my beloved lemon drop… perfection!!! Pros: Great ambiance, mature crowd, perfect date night spot, live jazz band as well as a great DJ spinning some wonderful tunes. Oh, complementary valet. Cons: Do not come hungry, they only serve wings and veggie or cheese pizza from the spot next door ~~ i think. We tried the veggie pizza that was about the worst pizza i have ever tasted. If you are a wine lover, not the place for you either. They have economy size moscato, chardonay and a red. Overall, loved this place, its has the neighbohood lounge feel and we will be coming back again.

I have been here a few times and have enjoyed it each and every time. It is really quaint and the live music is an added bonus. Great for date night too. I have been on a Saturday and it was a 20’s to 50’s professional African American crowd.

I really liked Fedora’s vibe. Very grown up but not stuffy. the drinks are great and a good price. They have great weekly specials for Monday night football and other events! Cool place. Quite, dark and sexy like Farrah A. said.

Nice place. Very comfortable and inviting interior. My fiancé surprised me as I had never heard of this place. We came specifically for the live music while celebrating my birthday and truly enjoyed ourselves. We sat at the bar. They had a free buffet of Mexican food that was very fresh and tasted pretty good. The Bartender was pouring some nice drinks. We were watching him pretty much the entire night and he did not skimp on the pours ! I hate over priced watered down drinks and you do not get that here. The Saxophonist for the evening was very good also This place seems to be recently reopened or has changed management or something, so the crowd was unexpectedly thin for a Saturday night but with the proper promotion, I think it will be a great date spot, or a place to hang out with friends. We need more live jazz, neo– soul, acoustic type music lounges in Houston so I plan to show my support.

I’m always on Unilocal looking for good foods, good service, good drinks and good deals. I came across this place on here about a week ago. The name itself is what attracted me for some reason. I had been looking for something closer to where I live without having to go to MID town or deep into downtown even. SO I bookmarked it. I also booked marked a BBQ place close by, but didn’t know how close it was till I mapped it on my phone. One mile to be exact. I was with a friend eating dinner around 530p. So I told her i wanted to try a this lounge and I wanted to see where it was… so /I could go later. We found it and lucky us it is open 4p-2am. So we went inside just to look and take in the ambiance for a Sec… WE were in there for three hours. This place is so laid back, smooth, cool, and relaxing. You can actually have a conversation with someone without having to yell and inhale a bunch of smoke. WE were there at the bar with other patrons(older crowd) they left and we were the only ones there. It was very early. I had two Amerreto sours and my friend had a dirty martini. My Drinks were the best mixed drinks I’ve ever had, EVER!!! The bartender was really cool. I don’t know his name… tall, Burnett, middle age man, He asked us occasionally if we needed anything. He didn’t hound us to get wasted. I will revisit again and again and till 2am This is a fabulous place to take a date, get to know someone, or just to chill and enjoy an awesome drink prepared by the tall, Burnett, middle aged man. The music is smooth oldies Jazz… Awesome. Happy hour is 5p-8p. So our drinks were pretty reasonable Bolttom Line Best kept Secret in West U !!!

Fedora is one of those lounges/cocktail bars that you and your crew can completely take over. It’s quiet. It’s dark. It’s sexy. The bartender made me a delicious extra dirty vodka martini. And for dessert, I topped it off with a chocolate martini. Oh, yes, baby. I’ll take two please.

Interesting little place. We’re usually found in Rice Village, so we were looking for some place around there but not so «Baker Street Saturday Night Loud.» We happened upon Fedora on Unilocal, and decided to check it out. First off, it’s in a strip mall on a quiet part of Westheimer, so don’t miss it. It’s a small parking lot, but since all the other stores are closed, there’s ample parking. The place is nicely decorated, although seating is hard to come by. There’s a couple spots for group seating, but it’s otherwise bar or squeeze into a 4 person booth. The bartender was attentive and came by our table multiple times. When we ordered from the bar, she was nice enough to bring it to our table. A+ effort there. The crowd definitely trended towards the older side. You won’t find your Baker Street regulars there. As such, drinks are a little pricier but nothing too extravagant. All in all, a very relaxing, if small, atmosphere.
