Fabulous west Houston shop for lamps and shades. Very large inventory of high quality items. Also does great repair of lamps, switches, etc. Bring your patience since just one person is there, but very worth it. Suzette is a joy to work with, and extremely knowledgeable and honest. She will help you find solutions, lamps, or shades. We always leave extremely happy.

Every time I have been here, the staff have been competent and understood the lighting conundrums I faced. Today there was not a solution to the dimensions I’m having to work with but will return. The inventory is significant. Pricey, yes, quality reigns.

Convenient location: Memorial/​Energy Corridor.
Quick analysis of the problem with my lamp.
Repair was fast.
And the price was very reasonable.

Needed a light socket fixed on a Stiffel lamp, and saw where The Shade Tree did lamp repair. I actually had planned to just drop the lamp off and pick it up in a week, but the nice lady asked if I wanted to wait a couple minutes and she could have it fixed while I wait.
They completely replaced the socket in less than five minutes. Cost was very reasonable!
While I was waiting, I noticed The Shade Tree has some very nice lamps of all shapes and sizes, and a HUGE inventory of different lamp shades. That was good to know if I ever need to replace a shade.
